Chapter 31: Aichi The Pokemon Sniper (31)
-Master, the Pokemon is secured and a decent distance from Pikachu now- I hear Aegislash say through our link. Getting a little grin on my face, the gang and I make our way towards Pikachu.
"Pikachu!" Ash shouts as we see Pikachu slump down to the ground in exhaustion. Ash runs over to the little guy, picks him up and brings him to Brock to get him checked up.
"Pikachu seems to be fine, we just need to let him rest." Brock tells Ash as he uses a potion on Pikachu's injured areas. Brock again showing his extremely vast knowledge of being a breeder is quite nice. I'll need to learn a little from him, just a little, as even I don't know as much as he does.
Using a potion is simple and effective but can be wasted and harm your Pokemon if sprayed too much or if you don't heal a spot.
We stayed in this little area until an old woman suddenly popped out of no where to greet us. It seems like the noise Team Rocket made was quite loud.
"Are you kids okay?" She asks us. All of us are a little tired at this point. Though we tell her that we are not doing too bad, we just need some rest.
"I can take you guys to my house to rest." She offers up which is suspiciously weird but referencing the anime, she seems to be a nice lady.
"Thank you." Ash responds as he shows her his Pikachu's conditions. The old woman's eyes widen at the sight and quickly leads us to her house.
…
"Guys I want to catch a Pokemon now. I spotted an interesting Pokemon." I tell the rest of the gang. Other than the timing being a little awkward, they don't question it as I go in a certain direction. They all want to rest and relax a bit, which is understandable.
-Aegislash is it still there?- I ask my ace. This will be the first instance of me taking some of Ash's luck or Pokemon finder which is nice. I'll get the Pokemon I want and Ash can move along with his Plot Armour.
I don't care about Ash much. He's a nice kid and all but he brings over Pokemon from another league anyways to battle in the Sinnoh League. I'm not sure why he did this but he already had enough Pokemon.
I'll be sniping the Pokemon I want thank you!
-Yes master, just keep walking for a few more minutes- Argislash responds. Releasing Chimchar from his Pokeball, I tell him that we will be battling a wild Pokemon.
"Char chimchar!" Chimchar shouts as he runs circles around me. Chimchar is a little bit of a battle maniac but with a decent amount of discipline, he doesn't go bonkers. He's honestly the perfect starter, he doesn't complain and get jealous like Piplup who in the anime created so many troubling situations.
I have already established that I don't mind him having fun and will give him all the food he wants if he trains hard, but he needs to listen to me.
This is something I will do for every Pokemon I catch so I don't get problems later on.
Chimchar and I walked for a little bit until we saw a Turtwig not moving because of a certain shadow looming over it.
-Aegislash you can chill now- I tell him through our link. Turtwig is a very up front Pokemon from what I remember and would never back down from a fight.
"Turt turtwig!" It shouts back as it sees me and Chimchar walk closer and closer. It seems like it will attack first.
The Turtwig feeling the danger gone now, uses [Razor Leaf] while taking an offensive stance.
"Chimchar, [Ember] then jump in front of a tree." I command. Chimchar using [Ember], disintegrates the [Razor Leaf] while also doing a little damage to Turtwig.
*Crackle*
"Turt!" The Pokemon shouts not too happy about that. Turtwig running up to Chimchar goes for a [Tackle].
"Jump up and pummel him with [Fire Punch]." I tell Chimchar. With Turtwig coming in as fast as a bull, Chimchar dodges the attack and makes Turtwig impact the tree.
Now with Turtwig a little dizzy from the impact, doesn't get to react as Chimchar charges up a [Fire Punch] from above and hits Turtwig.
*Boom*
Chimchar getting an amazing hit on Turtwig, goes in for more hits before finally knocking the stubborn Pokemon out.
"Nice! Okay, go Pokeball." I mumble out as I throw a Pokeball at the Turtwig.
*Ztzszszsz*

Ding!
"Let's go!" I shout out as Chimchar celebrates with me. After my excitement was wearing off, I walked towards the Pokeball and grabbed it.
'I should probably heal 'em up first before introducing him to the gang.' I think to myself. I also want it to be a little tamer. This Turtwig has amazing potential in my opinion and was wasted on Ash.
He trained a Pokemon that evolves into an absolute unit in defence and attacks in speed. You cant make this up at all, it's probably one of the slowest final stage Pokemon to exist.
Why would you do that. Turtwig who eventually becomes a Grotle in the anime is seen on so many occasions to flex its speed, but when it evolves into a Torterra and battles in the league it's suddenly a lazy fuck and can't run.
I'm not gonna do that, this Turtwig will be trained to be an absolute tank like what it was supposed to be. I just need to figure it out how to get him to not try to hit me though.
When a Pokemon is caught, they are automatically inclined not to kill and follow your orders. But in certain situations where they think they were caught "unfairly" or the trainer is "weak" like in the case with Ash and Charizard then they can just not listen to you.
It's a head ache but this can be worked around. Taking Turtwig's Pokeball I tell Chimchar to get next to me befor I released him.
*Ztsszszsz*
"Turt?" It says confused. Turtwig now looking up at me doesn't try to attack but acts pretty docile.
"Come here buddy." I scoop him up as I heal him with some normal potions. I spent another 10 minutes in the forest explaining to him what I did to Chimchar about listening to me.
I gave him some high quality food and he was already convinced so it wasn't too hard. Now with Turtwig on the team, I started to walk back towards the old lady's house slowly as Team Rocket is being annoying right now.
