Chapter 36: Chapter 36 : Departure
A few days later
The village of the Lamias was rebuilt anew. There was now a fence made of wood surrounding the village. The lizardmen returned to their marshland but both species would go to each other's village for goods.
That was the good part, the bad part is.
" I'm leaving this village " Said Lelania to her subordinate.
" But my queen, we need you, we can't survive without you "
" My husband has his mission and as his wife I must be there to support him "
Lelania slithers over to her pink haired assistant.
" Britney , I'm entrusting the future of our village while I'm gone. I have full faith in you "
Hearing the words of Lelania, Britney wiped her tears away.
" Don't worry my queen leave everything to me "
" There is one thing I must retrieve first "
Lelania slithers back to her throne and behind her throne was a body. She opened the box and inside was a golden spearlike staff with a red gem embedded near the point. The gem glowed and a black marking runes from her hand all the way to her face and She was enveloped in red aura.
" With this staff left to us by our ancestors, I can increase my power and with that power I can support my husband "She said,
Lucifer was at the gate rubbing the snout of the jet black Drake that Latra was riding. Lelania slithers up to him carrying her staff.
" Wait, a power level of 17,000 ?! "
Fenrir was surprised when she got a reading of Lartra strength and her power level increased 10 fold.
" If you were had that kind of power why didn't you stop the lizardmen yourself " Fenrir asked.
" I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't use the Staff of Valmiere until I found myself a husband and now that I have I can support him with everything I've got " Lelania said.
She turns to Lucifer who is standing there reading a book with his eyes closed and she smiles at him. Lucifer senses her smile and look at her.
" Why are you standing there looking at me ? if you're ready then let's go " He said.
" Yes, I'm coming My beloved husband "
The villagers weep as they say their goodbyes to the Queen. She mounts the Drake with Lucifer while Fenrir and Eve mouth the black wolf. Lelania waved at them goodbye and after watching the village disappear amongst the trees she felt saddened.
" Are you worried about leaving them? " Lucifer ask
" Yes, I've been with the village all my life acting as its queen and acting as its guardians, I feel like I'm betraying my people, forgive me "
" You don't have to worry. I left Nuvad, Predator and 40,000 imperishable undeads lizardmen to guard it "
" You have ?" She asks.
" Yes, I can't have you with me while your mind is still wondering and worry about your people. It will end up ticking me off and I cant have this " Lucifer said.
- He thought about the future of my people and did all this so I wouldn't worry, mother was right ,he is a good husband -
" Thank you for that, It really means a lot to me " She said and wrapped her hands around his waist even tighter. Fenrir saw what Lelania was doing and got jealous.
- Just wait, the next stop I'll be riding with Lucifer -
She thought to herself.
They continue to ride through the forest and into the plain towards the lands of the giants. Fenrir looked up at the clouds and noticed that the sky was getting cloudy.
" It looks like it's going to rain? " She said.
" Do you think so ?" Eve asks.
" Yeah definitely, we should hurry though so it won't catch us while we are on this level plain"
And it rained just as fenrir predicted. Later that night all four of them were all in a tent together. The lightning flash and the rain poured. Lucifer removed the cartridge from his gun and looked at all the bullets made of Magicles. Lelania coilz her tail around Lucifer and pulls him closer to her.
" Is something on your mind? " She ask
" It's nothing "
" So Lelania, you said you know someone in the dwarf kingdom? " Fenrir curiously asks.
" Yes, it's Princess Pressila, She's the only daughter of the Giant king, I'm sure she will be able to get us what we need and that's if we are able to convince her father. The king doesn't trust outsiders so convincing him won't be an easy task but I'm sure you'll be able Husband "Lelania explains.
Lucifer wasn't listening to them as his mind is more focused on something different. He was worried about his mother and his sister.
- I'm sure they must be worried about me, I wonder how mrs hemma is doing ?-
In the meantime.
At the City of Nerotopia, it was a sunny evening. The humans and the demihuman went about their business as usual. Miss Hemma was in a classroom teaching her new students. She asked a match question and a small human girl raised her hand.
" The answer is 20 "
" That's correct "
Suddenly she had a flashback of her students and she saw Lucifer sitting in the middle seat of the third row right in front of her.
" Jason?! "
As she called out she snapped back to reality as a student Demicats called her name.
" Miss Hemma are you alright? "
" Yes.. Let's continue "
In a small cafe Amelia was having lunch with Ernest.
" Do you like it? "
" Yes lady Amelia " Ernest responds while blushing. He kept looking down on the ground with a smile and seeing his expression made Amelia smile.
" You can just call me Amelia "
She pats him on the head giving him warmth and comfort. Ernest was flustered as he could feel her hands in his hair. Hans and his three friends were watching from a distance and he was jealous.
"Looks like she's hanging out with her boytoy again " Said Rolland.
" She's only doing that to make me jealous, what the hell, we are the heroes we should be out there fighting monsters not drinking coffee "
Hans slam his hand on the table spilling the drinks on the table.
" Take it easy man, I think this is a good thing. We get to live a luxurious life within and don't have to worry about anything instead of being on the outside where the demon Lord is "Said a friend called Quinn.
A Demifox with orange hair and three tails came over and cleaned the table for hands. During the entire time she has been cleaning he kept looking at her profoundly until she left.
" What's the deal with these demihumans, aren't they supposed to be monsters too? " Quinn asks.
" They may look like monsters but they are just humans who have mutated after being exposed to a certain degree of magicles " Rolland explained.
Hans looks as Amelia plays with Ernest and gets jealous. He got up from his seat and approached the Demifox from earlier.
" C-can I help you sir? " She asked.
Han continues to look at her curious face and smile arrogantly.
" Yes, there is something that you can do for me, " He responded.
Later that night under the moonlight the Demifox lay naked on the bed under a sheet. Hans was sitting on the bed beside her basking under the moonlight while looking at his hand.He clench his fist with an angry expression on his face while thinking about the time that he spent making love with Amelia.
- Not the same, It's still not the same.. -
He thought to himself.
The Demifox wakes out and wraps her hands around him.
" Are you okay ?"
" I'm fine "
" We had a wonderful time together," she said as she rested her head on his back and rubbed her hand on his muscular chest. Hans didn't pay attention to her, he was focused on Amelia and the night he with her. The fact that Amelia keeping slipping away from his grasp filled him with rage and determination.
- Amelia just you wait, I will make you mine -
He thought to himself.
In the meantime.
Miss Hemma found herself standing in a burning city and died in flames.She saw many winged creatures flying in the sky towards her and she started to tremble with her.
" What's going on?...huh ?! "
She turned around and found 10 shadows behind her with different color glowing eyes and the one who stood out to the most was the one in the middle with the glowing lime green eyes. The shadow suddenly transformed into the shadow of a dragon and roared loudly frightening her.
" Aaaaaaaaaahh "
She quickly waves up from her nightmare covered in sweat. After a moment of breathing heavily she finally calmed down.
" That dream felt so real...what's going to happen? " Miss Hemma wondered.
