Chapter 28: You're Mine
Grayfia gulped, she couldn't flee and she didn't want to flee, she desired to come clean.
"T-To introduce myself to you... to become your maid..." She stuttered, his lack of response only increased her fear.
"..."
"The last mission was to take you out of the treasury realm for a day... I-I wanted to do it just so we could travel together, and I could get some things to cook for you... that's why I proposed it to you! I swear there was no ill intention! I asked this entity... if they wanted to harm you but they never answered me... please master, believe me..."
By the end of her speech, she was begging... Grayfia didn't consider that was a lot in the beginning, it wasn't a lot to conceal and therefore, she kept doing it. But it had all exploded in her face from one moment to the other, they were in this world and her master's treasures were on the other side, unprotected.
She was convinced this was all her fault, 'Because I accepted the mission in the first place... I shouldn't have'.
Only regret remained, she would have done anything to meet him again... but not to end like this.
"I see..." Richter separated from her and held his chin, thinking deeply.
"Master? do you forgive me?"
"Why wouldn't I forgive you?" He answered, still thinking.

"Huh?" Grayfia thought she didn't hear right.
"You're not upset with me?! I concealed this from you! that I was sent there to conquer your heart!" She held his shoulders again frantically, thinking he hadn't got anything of what she just said.
But Grayfia was wrong, Richter understood everything.
"I already knew that..."
"Heh?!"
"You told me that the first time we met before I killed you, did you forget? 'I came to conquer your heart, Mr Dragon' do you think I forgot about that?"

"..." Grayfia's lips shivered in disbelief, he was... right, 'I did say that...'
"I doubt you were lying... there was also no reason for you to clean my cave and do the things you did, you were clearly courting me... I have known from the beginning what your intentions were".

'I even doubt Destiny has such a capacity, only Nebulous comes to mind, but... why? I can't think of a reason why Nebulous would do this, there is no enmity between us, in fact... our relationship is neutral, I have helped him a few times... he has helped me a few; why would he go along Destiny's whims? he hasn't done it before, why do it now?'.
In destiny's case, there were many reasons why she'd do this, 'But I don't know if she has the capacity to pull this out, unless... she asked Nebulous for help? but would he accept? they're at the end of the day; the rulers of Helius'.
He lifted his hands and clenched them a few times, 'I can still feel the faith coming, in fact, I'm beginning to get faith from this universe as well... looks like no one rules the laws of gold here. My body is connected to Helius somehow. Even if I'm outside of the multiverse, my Primordial Gold is still there'.
The primal spark stays in the body of the user once completely merged, transforming him into a primordial, the only virtual way to kill a primordial was by destroying the primal spark.
Grayfia remained by his side as he thought, thinking that perhaps he wasn't that upset and they could still make up, but even then... she thought he should be more upset than this.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" He asked.
"I don't understand, don't you hate me? I concealed things from you!" A part of her wanted him to get upset and at least slap her once, at the very least!
Causing trouble for her master, it was a heinous sin for a maid to commit.
"No one ever tried to arrange my treasures instead of stealing them... Grayfia, moreover... I have given you my golden scale and the Heart Lineage".
"Please forgive me..."
*SLAP!*
"Ahn!~"
He slapped her butt and Grayfia finally got a grip, taking her hurting bubble butt in her hands, the pleasure was so brief that she almost didn't sense it, he really spanked her good just now!

She received a notification and before she could even scream at the system, both of them were stupefied to see a portal open out of nowhere in front of Grayfia as a mysterious fruit came out of it.
Grayfia caught the fruit in bewilderment but Richter's eyes flashed in a golden hue.
*WHOOOSH!!*
As fast as lightning his golden claw shot forward; piercing the portal from which the fruit popped out!

Grayfia saw how his hand had squeezed through that space shining with a bright gold aura, her gaze shifted between the fruit and the portal.
*RUMBLE!!!*
Richter's aura shot forward as he put all his strength into opening the portal back again!
"GOTCHA!~"
