"My father only listens to what his mistress tells him, it's really a pity, he doesn't even realize he's the devil's pawn, I'd be a fool to follow in his footsteps" Mu Yichen said
Mu Yichen said and continued "If I hadn't been his first son, the Mu family's empire would have lost it's assets, it's name, it's glory, everything that would have made it what it is today"
"But sadly the old man thinks he still has power since he's your father and xiao Chen aren't you too much of a narcissist? ,. rubbing your glory in our faces?" Li Haoyu twitched his lips as he appeared annoyed.
"I'm staying facts, I'm hardworking and amazing you can't help but admit it unlike you who always lazes around," Mu Yichen said not bothering in Li Haoyu's direction.
"Just you wait I'll catch up to you first I jave to surpass Lu Zhifan" Li Haoyu said pointing in Lu Zhifan's direction who didn't bother to raise his head as he was used to Li Haoyu's childish tantrums.
"Oh where has that calm appearance gone, Xiao Chen have you seen it?" Lu Zhifan said as he flipped to the next page.
"Li Haoyu must have left it in the classroom Li Haoyu go fetch it or else our ears will continually be disturbed." Mu Yichen said as he took out his phone to check a few messages.
Fetch? what was he? a dog? unbelievable!! "You two are big meanies" Li Haoyu said frustrated as he held his chest, these two would be the cause if he ever got a heart problem.
It wasn't that Li Haoyu wasn't hardworking in the business aspect, it's just Lu Zhifan was progressing just a bit faster and Mu Yichen was a beast even Lu Zhifan was sure he'd never achieve half of what Mu Yichen had achieved.
Not in this lifetime, not even in the next they thought.
Silence was restored as the noisy Haoyu decided to keep quiet and not be bullied anymore.
Mu Yichen who had been going through his phone and suddenly paused when he received a notification.
It was a message from one of his subordinates.
He opened the message and read the contents, his eyebrows furrowed as he digested the information.
He kept his phone in his pocket and walked towards the door "It's time we ditched school,"
he said as Lu Zhifan and Li Haoyu understood and followed behind him.
The three left the school premises without any restraint. When you have so much power, who would dare.
Break ended and all students went back to their respective classes.
Su Chenxing immediately noticed the three empty seats and wondered where the owners had gone but then in the end it wasn't her business.
The next teacher hadn't entered the classroom yet, so Su Chenxing dug into her bag to get her materials when she remembered something.
She quickly took out her phone and sent a message to her brother.
Su Chenxing [My house keys send them with my bicycle]
Su Nianzhen [Sure I'll drop it at the gate] her brother replied almost immediately
Su Chenxing [Good]
Su Nianzhen [not even a thank you]
Su Chenxing [ See ya ]
Su Nianzhen [You...]
Su Chenxing ignored her brother as she kept her phone back into her bag as the teacher for that period walked in.
Afterwards it was the end of Su Chenxing's first day at school...
School bell rings****
Students were seen rushing out of their classes happy to go home though some stayed behind to spend extra time with friends.
Su Chenxing walked down the stairs and met up with Zhu Ai Qing as they quickly exchanged numbers as Zhu Ai Qing's driver was already waiting for her.
After Zhu Ai Qing left, Su Chenxing went ahead to get her bicycle and keys which her brother had said he would drop at the school gate.
Su Chenxing immediately spotted her bicycle which was black and decorated with skulls, very unsuitable for a girl but this was what she loved.
She then took out the house keys which were in a pocket attached to the bicycle and like that Su Chenxing rode home.
Stopping in front of a house which had a white gate, Su Chenxing reached for her keys and opened it, wheeling her bicycle as she walked in through the gate. Ensuring it was locked she walked to the house. It was a bungalow but still large and had a garage at the side. The house also had a little garden bringing out the beauty of the house.
Su Chenxing looked around admiring her surroundings though she'd seen it before and thought to herself, "not a bad choice at all" as she placed her bicycle at a corner close to the garden.
Unlocking the door Su Chenxing past the kitchen and sitting room passing through the corridor which had two doors on opposite sides but not directly opposite each other and one door at the end.
She went straight for the one at the end obviously the master bedroom and collapsed on the king sized bed. Exhaling "finally home" she said arms spread wide and her bag lying on the floor.
"Aish I could sleep right now and forget about taking a bath" she groaned, because she knew she couldn't do that and also she was hungry.
Getting up from the bed, she walked towards the large wardrobe and opened it greeted by a walk-in closet filled with clothes and shoes of different brands and styles except there were no skirts, more trousers and tops, less gowns.
Taking a set of comfortable clothes she walked out towards the bathroom which would have been the size of an average family's living room.
She hung her clothes and stood in front of the bathroom mirror. Staring at her reflection, "They really weren't lying huh this disguise is quite hideous, guess enough playing dress up for today. Time to get rid of this look...
