Chapter 45: Did You Miss Me?

It was one of those days. One of those days where you relax and calm the mind. A day that already had a schedule. Gotham was in its purest form. Crimes running rampant at night and dirty politicians making their rounds. Things were different when the sun was up however. A dark place full of crime, but shined in the day.

Two people had been desiring to see the young Lockhart, so he would visit them today. Alice was too preoccupied with staring at nothing. It didn't matter that a TV was playing nearby. She didn't even ask where he was going when he left the bedroom.

"Hmmmm…" Sora hummed in a lazy manner.

'Today I'll be surrounded by women. Should be a great day.' He thought.

It was hard to tell what would happen in the upcoming weeks, so he decided to get things out of the way. The sleepy man didn't take long to reach his garage. A sleek and beautiful motorcycle was chosen as his ride.

A Yamaha YZF was the name of this particular vehicle. It had a metallic black sheen that quietly emphasized its beauty. Sora felt unfulfilled. He wasn't able to truly get that dose of wild adrenaline, since the Riddler ruined the Grand Prix. Maybe he could get some today.

VROOOM

The engine roared as he zoomed out of the garage. There was still a gate fencing off the manor. Guards at the front nodded before pressing a button. A beep sounded and the gate slid open.

Sora looked back at the manor only to see the broken doll in the window. She only stared at him with a blank face. His expression was covered by his helmet, but he made sure to wave. A happy smile immediately spread across her face as she waved back.

The young Lockhart finally took off. His screaming engine was all the servants could hear, even when he was far away. Sora had made a great choice this time. There was a lot of traffic at this time. Luckily, he could lane split, driving in between cars.

Only 20 minutes passed before he reached his destination. A high rise complex sat before him, overlooking the city from a different angle. This establishment sat right on top of a hill. It was away from the crime. Away from the smoke and fire.

Upon walking through the front, the receptionist looked up from her computer. It went as expected. Her eyes followed his every action until he went up the elevator and disappeared. Such was the effect he had on people. This was something he had to get used to. Another reason why he didn't go outside too much.

His destination was on the 14th floor. The side of the elevator was made of glass, allowing an exquisite view of the surroundings. The sleepy man couldn't help but shake his head. Did a librarian's wage pay that well? Unlikely.

KNOCK KNOCK

He'd finally made it to the door. After waiting for a moment, he heard quick footsteps. A smile adorned Sora's face, but it quickly faltered.

"Took you long enough." Jaina said.

She wore a white hoodie that stopped just above her belly button. Tight black leggings squeezed her lower half, emphasizing her toned bottom. There were no shoes on her feet which allowed him to see her pink toe nails. Still, her expression wasn't a happy one.

"...It hasn't been THAT long." He finally responded.

"I think it's been…a few months? Only now do you want to see me?"

"Jaina, we already talked about this on the phone."

"That's different! Now that I'm seeing you in person, I'm not happy." She quipped.

Sora couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. Not happy? What a lie. He could sense her rapid heartbeat as clear as day. She was beyond happy. Why is it always so hard for women to just say how they feel? Men would appreciate it much more if they were blunt.

"...Come on, rabbit. Are you going to let me in?"

"Nope."

The door was shut. Sora couldn't help but roll his eyes. This woman. Even just being friends can be tiring. Regardless, he could still sense her standing behind the door.

"I've already finished the books you recommended…Jaina?"

".................."

"Aww man. I came all this way for this? I was hoping for a big hug! Guess I'll head home and find another way to spend my ONLY free day." He spoke slowly, letting her understand that she probably wouldn't see him for even longer.

".................."

"...Alright, I'm gonna go. Seeya." He pretended as if he was leaving but remained on the side.

The door creaked open once more. Strands of silver hair peaked out from the doorway. An expression of shock adorned her face.

"He just got up and left! Did he really just leave?!" She muttered to herself in disbelief. The fear and loss was starting to show itself. "No! Dammit! What the hell is wrong with me?! What am I doing?!" She degraded herself.

Without wasting any more time, she ran out into the hallway. Her destination was the elevator. Jaina wanted to catch him before he was gone! The rabbit was only able to take a few steps before noticing a smiling Sora. He was right beside her door.

"Going somewhere?" He joked.

Jaina's desperate pink eyes instantly widened into shock. Her expression then changed to joy. Finally, it changed into anger. The rabbit grabbed his arm and yanked him into the apartment.

"So rough…Are you going out as the rabbit today?" He asked.

"Maybe." She answered.

It was obviously a yes. If she wasn't, her hair would be brown. Her eyes would be green. The neglected woman just had an attitude. It was still cute in its own way. For a time.

White Rabbit walked down the hallway, her nice bottom swaying from side to side. Her figure was truly enticing. Those leggings only made it better.

"We have around three hours to kill. What should we do?" He muttered while following behind.

"Beats me." She responded while flicking her hair.

"What do you do when you're bored?"

"I make myself not bored."

"...Ok. How?"

"Who knows?" She quipped.

Sora had enough. After pulling her close, he pressed her against the wall. Her breasts were squished against it, her round bottom rubbing against his pelvis. One of his hands wrapped around her bare stomach while the other tightly held her jaw.

"...We both know that you aren't mad. No more. Today is supposed to be fun…right?" He whispered in her ear. His voice wasn't kind at all.

"........................."

Jaina could feel his breath on her skin. It made her shiver, along with his forceful actions. This was the dynamic they had. None of that best friend stuff. It was all a ruse. Sure, they were friends…but it always felt the best when he talked down to her.

"Your job isn't to get on my nerves. It's to do as I say…right?" He continued.

Both of her hands were grasping the one that held her jaw in a tight grip. His other hand lowered to her thigh, enjoying its softness. Sora was calm and collected though, unlike Jaina. Her face was as red as a tomato.

"Sora-"

"Right? Say it."

"It wasn't on purpose! I don't know why I-"

"You won't get on my nerves again…right?"

"I won't!"

"...You won't do what?"

His face was buried in her neck at this point. The young Lockhart inhaled her scent just because he could. He could do anything he wanted to her. That didn't mean he would though. Nevertheless, this hot scene was enough for Jaina to reach her limit. Sora's touch was different from any other man. Love tap at its finest.

"I won't…be difficult." She finally answered.

Her voice sounded as if she was exhausted and refreshed. Sora raised an eyebrow. Did she just…she did. There was a wet spot and it spread where his pelvis was pressing on her.

"Good. Now give me the hug I wanted earlier." He spoke after releasing her.

"Alright alright."

The rabbit almost fell before catching herself. Her legs were a bit shaky. She eventually turned and gave him a big hug, one of her hands digging into his hair. Jaina was happy to see him. It had been a while.

"There's your hug. Happy?" She spoke playfully. Sora couldn't help but smirk after.

"Sure. You should go change your pants though. You're wetting my clothes." He mocked.

Jaina immediately blushed again before dashing away like the rabbit she was. Sora moved to the couch while waiting. The hours would go by quickly. They caught up for a while, talking about the current state of the world. Many events were happening everywhere. There was never a break.

It was a good thing that the rabbit had stopped going out as White Rabbit. If she had remained, it was unknown if she'd still be alive. The big timers were now in the open. The Justice League had a lot on their plate.

Sora didn't know that Jaina had other skills, though. She was a great cook! A scrumptious meal had been set just for him. It was delicious. As minutes went on, it was finally time to go.

"...Ready?" He asked. Some white running shoes now covered Jaina's feet. It matched with her hoodie.

"Yup. Let's go!"

Sora handed her another helmet, which appeared out of nowhere. Only then did she realize that he came with one as well. An excited grin spread across her lips.

"You rode a bike here?" She asked.

"Duhh. I thought you like adrenaline? Here's your chance to get some thrills. I'll be sure to go really fast just for you." Sora stated.

"Hehehe! I'm ready. Let's go now. Hurry up!" She exclaimed while running ahead. The lazy billionaire walked after her with a smile.
