Chapter 4: Tiger
Luna glared at the tiger with the same glare and wiped a few tears away as she said…. "Uhggg, it's just a top, right?? I guess I can let you go….."
Luna said as she still held her wooden sword and sat on the ground with a pondering look and contemplated what to do, totally throwing the big tiger off guard. It's never experienced a situation like this, especially from a tiny little girl. 'I guess I could let it go… but what about my top…. ….. ….. …. ….. Hmph! This tigie deserves a beating for ruining my top!'
Luna got to her feet and pointed her sword at the tiger once again before she used all the strength she had in her legs and launched herself forward towards the tiger and swung her sword vertically at its head, intending to knock the tiger out with one clean hit.
The tiger saw the attack coming and jumped away to the side of the attack, successfully evading it. The attack was apparent and easy to avoid as it was just a simple vertical swing with barely any technique.
Luna saw the tiger evade her attack and jumped away to distance herself from the tiger. "What! You evaded that! No fair! Not fair, no fair! Hmmmph! I will hit you!" Luna yelled as she threw all of her training experience out the window and recklessly ran at the tiger and swung her sword at it.
The tiger growled as it swung its paw with razor-sharp claws at Luna's sword, slicing through it and heading straight for Luna's gut again.
Luna's gut tightened as her eyes widened in shock at how easily the tiger sliced through her sword.
She gritted her teeth as the tiger's claws ripped through her stomach, almost slicing her in half. She got sent flying again but not into the distance or a tree like before but the hard solid ground just in front of the tiger.
"Ahhkk!" Luna screamed as blood and guts ran out from her ripped-apart stomach. Luna tried to breathe and get up to her feet, but the pain was too great, and her stomach had yet to heal.
Unfortunately for The blood-covered little girl, the tiger wouldn't wait for her wounds to heal once again as it hovered Over Luna, as its fierce eyes glared down at her.
Luna indicts screamed at her again as she noticed a shadow covering her figure. Luna's bright blue eyes looked up at the tiger hovering over her with a sad smile.
'Shishi, if big brother ace and ….Sabo were here, we could've easily taken you on together…' Luna sadly thought as her bright blue eyes sharpened and glared at the tiger.
But unknown to both Luna and the tiger, a small wolf stealthily sneaked up on the tiger getting ready to make its move.
The tiger's mouth opened wide as its sharp fangs shinned in the sunlight, preparing to finish its meal.
Luna looked around for something to protect herself with but saw nothing. But what she did see was the small wolf approaching the tiger.
Her eyes widened as she looked up at the tiger again and said painfully while holding back tears as much as possible, "sorry, tiggie."
The wolf pounced on the tiger, catching it off guard as it aimed for the tigers weak spot. It's the neck. The Wolf drilled its sharp fangs into the tiger's neck.
The tiger yelped in pain as it tried to claw away the wolf. Sadly for the tiger, the small wolf knew what it was doing and ripped out a significant portion of its neck, as it carefully leaped a few meters away from the tiger.
The tiger whimpered and growled as it glared at Luna and the small wolf. The tiger felt the pain coming from its neck and knew from experience and many battles just like this one, it had been done a severe blow.
The tiger looked down at Luna one more time knowing it wasn't going to get its meal today. Before it ran away into the woods to try and deal with its wound before it was too late.
Luna looked at the Wolf and painfully smiled "shishishishi! Thanks for the save Wolfe!"
