Chapter 24: Chapter 23: Uncle Zach escapes
But that was not the end of uncle Zach because he had a plan that will help him escape from prison and he will have another chance to kill Max.
After uncle Zach got arrested he was thinking of what to do so he could escape but he was not sure that it would work his plan was that he would bribe any policeman he sees passing his jail cell and he would give them from the riches that Maximus has but when he tried it everything got worse because they charged him for bribing a police officer.
Some of the policemen said that Zach might have to spend his whole entire life behind bars which made uncle Zach scared.
Five months later in the night, there was an attack on the police station and all the lights went out and everybody inside the police station didn't know what was happening including the criminals except uncle Zach.
After the lights went out and two men entered inside and killed the policeman that was guarding the area that uncle Zach was and they carried the keys to open uncle Zach cage and when uncle Zach got out he ran out of the police station with the two men and they never saw Zach again.
And during the five months Max was reading for his exams and he continued to go to school and when the exam timetable came out Max copied it at the back of his notebook.
When it was the week of exam Max was ready and the first paper he had was maths which was his best subject and when he started writing he was sure that he would pass the exams and when he was done he went to go and submit and he wanted to know what he got but he had to wait for some days before he knew what he got.
On Monday Max had: Maths, Civic education and Basic technology.
Tuesday: Social studies, Basic science and Agricultural science.
Wednesday: Home economics, History and computer.
Thursday: English language, Business studies and Cultural Creative Art.
Friday: Physical and Health Education, Literature and Christian Religious Knowledge.
And that was all of the subject that Max have during the week and when he finished it he discovered that he got an A+ in maths and he was happy again.
And when his result came out Max got first in class and he was so happy.
Max knew that after that result he would be promoted to Grade 8 and his dreams came through.While he got first Steven got second and Elliot got third and when Max told Steven he got first Steven was ashamed and he accepted defeat and Max getting first meant that he was the smartest person in his class.
The first semester of Grade 8 felt different for Max but he got used to it and during the holiday that's when they said that Zach has escaped on the news and Max knew that the uncle would be coming for him.
