Chapter 2: THE BEGINNING
_- Micheal's pov -_
I quietly opened the door to my sister's room and slowly walked in, I then sat beside her on the bed and gently shook her awake she let out a small groan of annoyance "Mike..." she groaned out "E it's time to wake up Mama is making breakfast right now come on please" I begged softly she got up and stretched and I heard a crack of a bone and a sigh of relief "...okay I'm up please close the door...." she yawned and lazily stumbled to her dresser I did as I was told and ran to get ready myself "Mike is she awake?" My mother asked glancing at me then back at the stove "yeah she's up I'mma go get dressed" I smiled and left
_- Eaiko's pov -_
I walked out of my room fully dressed and ready to tackle the day I then walked into the kitchen where my mother was cooking and my father looking at the newspaper "good morning Mama, good morning Papa!" I smiled my mother placed down a plate of food and pecked me on the cheek "morning hon" she smiled and went back to the stove "how was your sleep Eaiko?" Dad asked to take a glance at me then went back to reading the news "it was good, anything new?" I asked as I stabbed the eggs on my plate and ate my food "just more missing children" he said blankly putting the paper down
_- Time Skip -_
"say bye to your father" Mom smiled before going up to him and giving him a peck on the lips "eew Mama gross!" I gagged as I looked away in disgust she giggled at me and stepped away from him as I bound up to him and he caught me and hugged me tightly "be good okay?" he asked smiling at me I nodded my head vigorously his smile widened and said "good" I then ran back to Mom as Michael just waved and smiled at him we then took out separate ways "are you guys ready to find out your Quirk's?" Mom asked smiling at both of us I jumped exactly "yeah!, say Momma?" I called and she looked at me "yes hon?" she answered "do you think I can become a hero?, I know Papa doesn't like them but I want to be a hero" I asked looking up at her, her eyes read shock but she smiled "are you sure?, The hero courses are really tough" I smiled and nodded she sighed and smiled "okay I'll talk to your father" we soon reached the school and left inside
_- Later -_
"quirk practice?" we all asked in confused "yes it's where one by one everyone will come up and try to activate their Quirk now let's begin!" the teacher smiled and one by one like she said we all went up then "Micheal Afton your up!" the teacher smiled while beckoning to the front he then stood up and just stood there not knowing what to do he then closed his eyes and took deep breaths then his shadow moved on its own and waved at the class it then went back where it was and he snapped his eyes open as blood dripped out of his nose "I'm okay" he smiled giving us a thumbs up "okay Eaiko you're next" the teacher called I went up and stood there unsure what I was supposed to do I then did what Micheal did I took deep breaths and then felt a powerful wave waken something within me I then heard people screaming and glass shattering "Eaiko!" Michael yelled I then snapped my eyes open to see everyone underneath their desks and shaking in fear "Eaiko Afton!" My angry teacher yelled and dragged me by the ear as I screamed in pain but fell to the ground due to exhaustion she then was dragging me by the hair as glass started to stab at me having enough of me she threw me on the glass covered ground and started to hit me I cried and screamed as my vision started to blur and darken and then I finally passed out
_- Time Skip -_
I woke up to see a white ceiling and a fan spinning I turned to my left side to see my father asleep then my right to see my mother starting to wake up "Eaiko..?.., oh my goodness Eaiko!, Are you alright sweetie?, Does anything hurt?" She cried as father and Micheal woke up from her yelling I smiled "I feel fine Mom" the doctor then came into view "ah I see you're awake now, can you sit up for me?" I did as he said then he did a few check ups then said "okay Mrs and Mr Afton can you please follow me outside please?" he asked, they both nodded their heads and followed him outside of the room
_- William's pov -_
"Well the good news is that Eaiko and Micheal are okay and we found out what their Quirks can do" he smiled "okay tell us" I demanded "yes sir, based on some research on Micheal we found that he can control the shadows I'm sure you both are proud that's not a Quirk you can come across every day" he smiled 'damn it that's not the Quirk Eaiko you better have it' I thought angerly "and Eaiko?" I barked "oh right yes, well we initially thought it was a telekinesis Quirk but that's not it, we heard from the police and to some glass on Eaiko we found that the glass was bent inwards meaning that pressure was pressed upon it and it so happened to be wind and thanks to the check ups I did, I confirmed it Eaiko has a Element Type Quirk but many of the students and the teacher reported seeing white and black whips coming out of her hand and when we had to antidote her back to sleep we saw the same and I'll call it black whip" 'Eaiko...my daughter..you have the power I've craved! the power that I needed!, I'm so proud!' I thought happily "and what's the bad news?" my wife worriedly asked "well they both have to be home schooled their Quirks are dangerous and they don't know how to control it so they have to have home school training" he said more seriously "if you need an instructor then we have hotlines and-" I quickly cut him off by saying "that won't be needed I'll train them, I'm sure you know that I have a Devil Quirk and my wife has a Angel Quirk so we are perfectly able to do it" "okay then she can be discharged tomorrow morning" he smiled and walked away I smiled evilly as I thought of the endless possibilities
