It’s only 4 chapters into the book and I’m already captivated by this book. First you are introduced by a crazy, back stabbing wives and children with a polygamist father. Then, we meet the Female Lead whom I love, for she is a strong-minded, smart, independent woman. She is a survivor and a fighter. As for grammar and spelling, there are very liitle mistakes, nothing to worry about. The author is a lovely person. Sky_Li loves to hear from her readers and I truly appreciate authors that communicates with their readers.
I wasn't having the zeal to write today, but as I came across this book, I feel like making the author my role model. Kudos! to the author. I won't give a second thought before adding it to my library. I'm in love with this book 🥰🥰 I need to get back to writing and come back for it🤗🤗
Title is nice and love the synopsis. The start already gives a good thrill for one to read more. Judging from her past books, I am sure this won't disappoint. GOOD ONE AUTHOR.

Another interesting, hilarious, mysterious, romance oriented novel from Sky Li. The author never fails to surprise me with her wonderful work. The author's work is mind blowing and amazing. Our male lead Lord Casein doesn't tolerate nonsense and is pretty straightforward. He is mysterious. Female lead Madeline is a daredevil. She is adventurous 😜 Lord Casein and Madeline are a sweetheart 😘😘 I am absolutely enjoying their screentime together and awaiting more surprises from them both. Sky Li never disappoints her readers. It's a package deal romance , comedy and mystery. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🤩🤩☺️
I've rarely found a book that I like so much like this book!!! wanna know how I know I like this book so much? It's because I can't stop reading it! When I first started on this book, I wasn't expecting anything and I just want to find smtg to read bcs I was bored. So i read, read and read. When I stop reading to take a break, I was super shocked that I was already at chapter 20+. It was so good that I read like 20+ chapter all in one-go without even realizing it 🥹 The character development for both ML & FL are amazing, they were alrdy good from the first few chapters, but they became even better as the story goes on! 🥰 And there wasn't even huge misunderstandings between them, but even if they do hv one, they solved it pretty quickly so it won't drag for so long which is good bcs long misunderstandings between main characters frustrated me 😌 Overall, I'm glad to hv found this book, and I'm glad the book doesn't disappoint me at all till the end ;)))
From the starting to the end of this book I can't describe what an amazing journey it has been for us readers. The Author is brilliant in her writing style but what I love most is the connection she made us feel between Maddie and Cassian, not all books end talk about having a happy ending, but she made this book feel so satisfying from the beginning to its end, my one worry was Orson, why didn't he get a bride too? but all in all, this is definitely a reread❤️❤️
The story has a victorian, Sherlock Holmes-like atmosphere, with multiple plotlines (murders, disappeearances, family drama) that interweave. The female and male leads are likeable, with their own character flaws.

Late review but hey better late than never! This is one of the captivating stories out there on webnovel. I stumbled upon this raw gem a couple of months ago. The cover piqued my interest after reading the synopsis I was like okay but then something else caught my attention. It was the vampire tag and I started it last month and I was fortunate I did because I might have missed this brilliant story. Finally a brilliant story after a long while. It is a short story compared to others but it is well written by the author. A lot of authors just drag the story unnecessarily. As much as I enjoy reading, I still want to have a good closure to the novel. The author did a fantastic job and I hope this story gets the appreciation it deserves. And finally, definitely a reread novel.
