Chapter 52: Chapter 52 - Gon and Killua Stalking

Gon and Killua walked away laughing, having been noticed by Axel, and they began, feeling energized.

"How was he able to look for us when we were using Zetsu?"

Killua exclaimed as she walked hurriedly.

Gon smiled and started to talk.

"I don't know; this is a question you should be explaining, not me."

Killua took more ego damage from the failed attempt at stalking as compared to Gon; he was experienced in these things even before he learned Nen.

But he was not a fool. He will not make this event a problem, but will instead use it to motivate him to improve.

He must do so or things will not go well for him.

They had no idea that Axel was now contemplating their every move, trying to piece together what they were up to. He did not notice them because of their aura but because of his passive attitude.

With the capability he has, everything around him cannot escape his eyes, not to mention Gon and Killua; even a fly would not be able to escape his perception.

Axel couldn't help but smile as he watched the two boys walk away. Despite his initial apprehension, he had grown to like them. He knew that they were talented and resourceful, and he admired their courage. It was different than watching them in anime when he only watched fictional things. But now they are real kids with motives and their own lives.

This is something different than just thinking of them as fictional characters in a product.

As he continued down the street, Axel started talking to himself. "Those boys are something else," he muttered. "But they have no idea what they're getting into."

He thought back to the conversation they had just had, and his mind raced with possibilities. What would happen when they crossed paths with Nobunaga and Machi?

Axel knew that it was going to be a dangerous situation, but he was eager to see what would unfold. He knew what was going to happen originally, but he did not want to take chances by changing the events.

Phantom Troupe members are bad and unpredictable, especially Nobunaga. After Uvogin dies, he will enter a depressive state and may even begin to question the orders of Chrollo, the Phantom Troupe's leader.

With that in mind, Axel started looking for information about underground nen battles. He knew that it was a risky business, but he was willing to take the chance. The only problem was that he wasn't a hunter, and he didn't have the connections he needed to find the information he was looking for.

Axel spent hours scouring the internet, trying to find any leads he could. He called up old friends and associates, hoping that someone would be able to point him in the right direction. But despite his best efforts, he was coming up empty-handed.

After two days, Axel grew more and more frustrated. He knew that time was running out, and he was starting to feel like he was in over his head.

But then, on the third day, he received a message written by Aura on the wall of the hotel where he is staying. "I think I have found what you're looking for," the message read. Axel's heart raced as he kept reading the message, and there it was: a list of underground nen battles, complete with dates, times, and locations.

"This is what I was looking for; everything is here—the locations, the time, and there is an even prize for most of the battles."
