Chapter 17: Visiting Arthur
Getting up early again the next day in the morning Damon first did a few sets of exercises and asked the system some questions regarding the luck and all the stuff he needed to take care of while dealing with protagonists.
Yesterday his first date of both lives went well with Aisha, well he thinks so and after a whole day of fun both returned to the villa during the night and went to their respective rooms.
{Yes they both didn't fucked, but don't worry they will in a few chapters}
Coming to the topic regarding the system and rules of the protagonist Damon didn't find anything new, there was one new thing in this.
Submission of the protagonists.
To take all the luck the protagonist has Damon could also have them submit to him and become his subordinates getting their all luck in one scoop and also their eternal loyalty.
That is some insane feature the system has and a very handy one we must say.
Though there is one downside to this as he won't be gaining any of the protagonist's powers like he gets from killing them.
Well this is disappointing but useful for getting powerful subordinates.
Though with the arrogance they carry it would be hard to convince any protagonist to join him but even if it is having some talented subordinate is a good thing.
From the future memories Damon has already chosen the candidate to try this feature on.
Smiling with the thought of trying this ability Damon took a bath.
'Phone Ringing'
As Damon was drying himself up his phone rang.
Looking at the number which appears of one of his subordinates whom he had asked to keep an eye on Nathan and his kidnappers called.
"Hello"
"Hello Sir, the boy you asked for keeping an eye on is now out of danger and according to the doctors it would take a few hours for him to regain his consciousness"
"Well good job there, tell the kidnappers to do what they are asked for once he is able to get up and don't stop until I ordered them to"
"Yes Sir"
Damon cut the call and wore a luxurious black suit.
Nathan was kidnapped on Damon's orders.
He didn't want to go out and ruin his chances and waste his time playing the face slapping games that are shown in the villain novels.
Mean if you have the power why not just bind the protagonist to one place and slowly take all of his chances and squeeze his luck points.
For someone like Nathan who didn't have any background isn't it better to just have it in capture as for the problems by his family who cares?
His family consists of his parents and an older brother who are already fed up with him and busy with the work.
They are already accustomed to his unruly behaviour of going missing for days with no contact at all squandering their hard earned money.
They are now dealing with the business crisis themselves so they don't bother on checking on him till now and even if they did find out something is wrong.
What could they do?
Complaining to the police?
Damon could easily bribe them all.
Finding his clues?
Every evidence is cleared.
There isn't a fucking reason to play along that protagonist villain game or manipulating a nobody like him from the shadows.
He has the resources and background enough to destroy the protagonist why should he play that meaningless game.
The only thing that would be bad will be Arthur who would probably get the wind of Damon's actions but he won't say much on these things as Damon had already thought of the excuses he could use to convince Arthur.
Looking at himself in the mirror Damon smiled in satisfaction and left his dressing room.
Today there is no school so for this Damon wants to visit his father Arthur who currently stays in his office handling the loads of paperwork.
Damon wanted to establish his own company as well as wanted to get Arthur's permission in collecting some things for himself and authority to control some of the forces Arthur raised for the matters regarding the dealing of protagonists.
Sooner or later Arthur may notice Damon's unusual behaviours so it's better to make up some lies to cover them up from before and get earlier access to the resources controlled by the Frost Group.
