Chapter 96: Corporation Prospects
Tang Wan giggled at his mock disappointment and leaned on him slightly with clear teasing intentions.
"What? Could it be that you forgot the reason we are here, Chairman Tepes? It might be troublesome for us if you mistake the purpose of this meeting~"
"Of course not, please brief me on the situation CEO Tang." Alucard crossed his arms and his whole demeanour changed, the CEO clicked her tongue at his professionalism, expecting some kind of reaction but only released a sigh in response.
"Let's move to the table there, it will be more comfortable for us." She stood up and led him to a big table in front of a chimney.
"First of all, just like you did with Yu Lei, there is going to be a conference next week where prominent members of China's economic community as well as several sponsors of maple, will be present. I'll resume the most prominent subjects where we will be inquired"
Tang Wan proceeded to tell Alucard the conditions of their corporation partnership where she assumed total responsibility for the production of whatever new brand of liquor he created, leaving Hermes the complete intellectual responsibility; such as the design of the product, taste and advertisement politics.
This contract partnership would be valid for two years which Alucard expected to be able to take over with his own infrastructure during that time, this however wasn't within Tang Wan's expectations as the CEO simply desired to renovate the contract in two years it necessary.
Hermes would also have the responsibility to promote and design initiatives for international products and projects such as resorts, buildings, assembly companies etc, belonging to Maple. But only internationally, Maple would still be in charge of China's market itself.
As a result of this partnership, Alucard as the CEO of Hermes would be able to participate in Maple Corporate Meetings, she would impart him 5% of the stocks that belonged to her, giving him the right to participate in this meeting, stocks that would naturally be paid.
Tang Wan would also be the owner of a part of Hermes Corporation and would often participate in their boards of directors, her words would have a heavy impact on the company's development during the three years their partnership would last.
Alucard agreed to all this and even signed the contract.
She then imparted him with a list of products and resorts that would be launched during the next part of the year. With this, Hermes would be able to create advertisement campaigns more effectively.
"Now, regarding your own stocks. During the explosive increase in the last few days, a lot of smallholders got rid of their options and stocks. I made sure to acquire as many as possible on behalf of the Tang Clan, knowing that with our partnership, our company is sure to go to the moon." She smiled and presented him with the statistics of their progress in the Chinese market.
Maple Corporation went up a total of 30% in the last few days. An unprecedented increase ever since she became the Chairman after her grandfather.
For a corporation like hers, increasing 30% in a year was an extremely fruitful year, let alone a week… What's more impressive is that the price is stagnant, and inversion and liquidity hadn't ceased pouring even now!
That means the price is likely to stay like that or increase more through the year!
"I'll hand you over 5% of those that we bought, those are yours, not Hermes'; and the price is 25 billion approximately, you don't need to pay me now. I'll just hold them there for you and sell them back to the Tang Clan when the moment is right, decrease the difference and the rest is yours~ or if you prefer, you can just keep them." She explained with a smile.
Alucard sighed and sipped some wine, this woman was basically gifting him a few dozen billion dollars out of nowhere.
"Why would you do it? You could just keep them to yourself." He asked, he knew the answer but asked nonetheless.
"You were able to increase the value of my corporation by this ridiculous amount in just a few days... I believe we together can grow beyond the billions, Vlad." The truth was that she wanted him to have a voice in her corporation's future and she also wanted to be involved in his.
She was sure Lin Ruoxi had the same mindset.
But she still smiled wickedly, as long as the two of them worked together with Alucard, their rates of increase were going to be more or less the same, she would always be ahead of Lin Ruoxi no matter how much they grew.
Alucard sipped some wine and didn't say anything, she was basically telling him to get involved in the future of her company actively.
"Listen, Tang Wan. I'm not a businessman, I don't manage numbers and certainly not statistics, but I have power and wisdom. If I want your company to be the number one in the world, it will be, if I don't, then it won't. Do you understand?" His pink eyes shone slightly, he had the power to accomplish whatever he wanted, this business, company yada yada was just his way of spending time, waiting for whatever that god had planned for him.
He believed he came here for a reason, he just didn't know what it was.
Upon feeling his seriousness, Tang Wan flinched…
It wasn't usual and sometimes he could be very funny and easygoing, but that side of his was still there…
A Monarch that wouldn't accept a 'No' for an answer and with an overbearing aura that made someone like her who feared no one, feel compelled to obey…

"Good, then you can be calm, I'll make sure that your corporation reaches new heights, Your job and Ruoxi's is that the resources I need are prepared when I need them." He said, closing the subject.
Tang Wan grits her teeth and nods, "Is your partnership with Ruoxi going to be like ours?"
"Yes, although I have not spoken to her in a detailed manner just like a did with you, our next meeting should be about this subject. I'll be making an entertainment branch with Ruoxi under the same conditions."
"And us? I have my own projects but I'd like to work on something in conjunction with you." She bit her lips and asked, a subsidiary which belonged to the two of them, that was her vision.
Alucard chuckled, having the perfect idea to execute with a massive corporation like hers.
"We will launch an automobile production company."

"Uh?" Her head tilted cutely in confusion, "Do you mean, an actual vehicle assembler?"
Most of the Chinese automobile industry were shameless copies of western models adapted, tested, assembled and produced in Chinese territory. She thought his idea was to create one of these which would be irrelevant since her Maple Corporation already owned several such subsidiaries.
"No, I mean a full-fledged Automobile Company. Design, production, assembly and delivery. Everything will be on us." He said while sipping more wine.

'Do you want me to get some for your office, Master?'

While the duo discussed briefly, Tang Wan gaped at his idea, although Maple was the number one corporation in China. The titanic conglomerate had businesses in assembly and exportation, tourism, real estate, oil and skin care products; tobacco and digital agencies.
But no vehicle's original design corporation...
This would be a completely new Branch. He was basically saying to create a company to design the vehicles, produce the parts, assemble them and then send them! All within China with no third parties!
Ever since she became the Chairman and CEO after her grandfather, she had managed the business successfully, but she hadn't innovated in the slightest.
This would be the first time she would create something big and possibly outperform her grandfather.
"I love it! What do we need!?" She exclaimed with a lot of enthusiasm as her hands technically banged on the table, whatever project she did with him was very likely to be successful, but having a completely new branch was just incredible.
"For now? Nothing. I naturally don't know anything about cars except for driving, so I'll find someone that does. In a month I'll travel to America, and I'll look for talents there. In the meantime we need a small office available for us, automobile engineers and basic equipment as once I get the right people involved, we will start straight away and design our first car" He told her his plans, he had the knowledge of vehicle engineering within his mind from a lot of professionals in the matter.
However, that knowledge was that of a thousand years in the future. And couldn't even be used with the currently available technology, the most he could do was to advise the engineers with the knowledge that could still be used.
As for researchers capable of creating the technology he had in mind, he already knew the one perfect for that job.
"I see, you're going in a month. Why did you choose China Vlad? Why come from Europe, all the way to China?" She glanced down, holding her own hands and asked, it didn't make sense. Most foreigners didn't come to invest billions in their market.
This was obviously a question Alucard couldn't answer, he stayed in China because he believed he appeared here for a reason, and as of now, he was starting to understand why.
