Chapter 2: A grail?
A man with a backpack moves away from a crowd of people until he enters an alleyway.
He puts the backpack on ground and takes a book from it.
The book's title is: King of men, Goetia
He opens the book and skips a few pages.

It's been a few days since I died.
I am grateful for the opportunity the person who ressurected me gave.
They even did me a favour, they got rid of clairvoyance and gave me 9 of the rings.
But, did it have to be his body?
Couldn't any other body suffice?
Anyway, I have decided to not use Ars Paulina yet. I want to understand humans on my own with out the other demon gods butting in.

The man simply stared at one thing.

after stareing at it for a while the man decides to close the book and put it back into the backpack while taking a phone out.
He really wanted to continue reading this new fanfic he found.
But, he had to face the truth.
"I'm procrastinating."
He sighs and sadly goes out of the fanfic.
He, then, put the phone back into the bag and started to walk around the city until he reached a certain ramen shop.
He was greeted by the owner as he entered and sat down by the countertop.
As he silently prayed he ordered his food.
"I would like ramen with no mapo, and a ramen with mapo."
The man he used to think was a pseudo-servant smiled.
As he waited, he tried to distract himself, and so he thought about what happened, he honastly still can't believe someone willingly ressurected a beast, since last time he checked, when one beast awoke it was chain reaction that ment other beasts would wake up.
'But that already happened, didn't it?'
Right when he died he sensed a bit of primate murder's mana, and it was way past anything else he sensed before.
He had no doubt chaldea was already destroyed by them.
And it was only a matter of time till they reach this world.
'I wonder what bael is doing.'
The sound of a bowl broke him out of his thoughts.
He took 10,000 yen next to the bowls and started (hesitantly) eating.
The broke ramen owner nodded in respect at the person he thought was a fellow mapo lover as he grabbed the 10,000 yen and stuffed it in his pocket.
As he finished the first bowl the owner said,
"8.6 Seconds."
'Just need to do it again, in that time.'
He could barely handle the heat, his stomach ached and he could feel his taste buds dying.
A slight bit of mana entered his senses, but he ignored it.
This task is far more important than some mage.
'COME ON GOETIA! YOU ARE ONE OF THE STRONGEST BEASTS WHILE STILL BEING A FETUS! YOU CAN BEAT ANY GRAND YOU WANT!'
And so, he breathed out... And immediately started eating.
His throat burned and his stomach ached.
But, he was able to do it.
He knew he could.
Could he?
"8.9 Seconds."
An overwhelming sense of joy entered his body.
Turns out he could.
"My apprentice, you are no longer a student."
He could feel the mapo racing inside his intestines, he couldn't feel the ever-growing mana signature thanks to that.
"You have officially passed the test and am now a mapo tofu expert."
"You now have permission to know my identity."
The mana grew immensely.
"I am Kirei Kotomine, a priest watching over the city."
He knew that was a lie, but his respect for his former master led him to not ask questions. He was also in post mapo-clarity.
"Your other reward is..."
'Huh?'
He doesn't remember anything about that.
"HALF PRICE OFF EVERYTHING!"
Finally, in his dissapointment, he noticed the mana.
'It's strength is similar to Ars Almadel Salomonis.'
He noticed it was held back a bit, so he didn't have to use Ars paulina yet.
And it was in a more compact area so he didn't worry about kirei.
'Though...'
He silently put up bounded field around the mana.
He, then noticed another mana signature.
'Isn't that... Second magic?'
He isn't very surprised that they came, considering how strong that thing was.
But, he noticed something different, so he looked closer.
'A grail?'
That made him a lot more relaxed than he thought it would.
'Wasn't one of them...'

And it wasn't his magic, now was it?
"May I... Go outside to process this?"
"You may."
When he got up from the chair he bowed out of respect and left.
He looked at where the mana was coming from and...
Immediately used the 9 rings to try and hijack the spell.
It would probably work without the rings, but you can't be too safe.
Although, to his surprise, it was much easier to hijack it than any other magic he tried before. Almost like there was nothing between the magic and him.
It's like it doesn't care about its safety and just wants to do the spell on its own, there wasn't even any coordinates other then earth, fuyuki city.
'Did they want someone to go with them?'
He knew the answer was no, but he couldn't help but ask.
He looked back at the ramen place, and pondered for a bit.
'To think a human besides me is able to withstand such things.'
They have earned his respect.
He decided to save a bit mana and readied himself for a jump.
The ground cracked underneath his feet.
The sound of the ground deep inside the earth cracking thanks to him resounded.
He shot up so fast he passed the speed of sound. It was also this that made him realise that was a bad idea.
The part where he was starting to explode thanks to natural gas also made him realise this.
Though, managed to divert it to the place where the blast was going to be, so he didn't have to worry about unnecessary damage.
"Goodbye, kirei kotomine. Hello-"
A warning he made to the demon gods about a certain universe to avoid sounded inside his head.
'Zalretch's most went too universe.'
Perhaps mapo tofu was better then this.
