Slightly awaken Clarice looked up at the figure beside her "Sylvia!"she shouted at her sister…slightly pushing her away from her side ,then she sat up waking up fully looking at her little sister then apologized for shouting at her that minute looking up at her sister standing in front of her then asked her "why did you wake me up from my sleep "…Clarice asked in a calm tone to avoid her sister from tearing up …Sylvia replied looking back at her sister with a frown "I will tell mummy you're shouting at me just because I woke you up to tell remind you you've not washed your clothes and arrange your things….or have you forgotten that you're going back to school in a weeks time but not as a day student but as a boarder"Sylvia said to her sister having a happy grin on her face because her and her sister always fought over the littlest things in the house and now she was going to have them all to her self ...
Clarice not looking surprised at the words of her twelve year old sister because she already knew that her father wanted her to stay in a boarding school while her mother didn't ….Clarice had strict parents but her mom was not as strict and disciplined as her father…."I know that am going to a boarding school no need to remind me "Clarice said to her sister then hissed before leaving her room to her parent's room
Taking a deep breath before going in the room then entered with a mischievous smile looking at the room then noticed only her mom in the room….
"Mummy...."Clarice said smiling and moving closer to her mom laying on the bed
..."mummy mummy …..!" she said repeatedly smiling..her mom looked by her side and saw Clarice already sitting beside her
"Clarice..!"Martha called her name looking at her sitting beside her on her bed "what do you want ,because I know you won't just call my name like that continuously and again with that smile"
"Mom"...."mom….!"Clarice called
" mom I don't want to go to a boarding school …..please can you talk to dad …..please….!!!"Clarice said repeatedly until her mom replied
"Why don't you want to go "she asked with a suspicion look in her eyes after an awkward silence with...."ummm I just don't want to go ….I want to stay home and be going to school from home …..I can't say all exactly but I don't like the thought of going to a boarding school "Clarice replied with a sad and pleading look on her face
Martha looking up at her daughter as to figure out what to say to her daughter "Clarice I know it's going to be tough for you to stay in a boarding school but it's not that bad ….you will get to meet different kinds of people and it will expose you a little to how reality is…."Martha replied looking at her daughter with understanding of why she does not want to and trying to convince her "Clarice you know your father,he's not going to agree to whatever you are proposing now after he has spent so much money paying for all the things needed for you to o to school and here you are now saying you don't want to go …..do you want your father's hard earned money to go to waste …?" Martha asked looking at her daughter
Clarice looking down at her hands trying to understand all what her mother said but still couldn't …..but she didn't want her mom to be sad and since her mom wanted it she did not want to go against her so she agreed without making any fuss...
Clarice left her parents room and left for hers…..lost in thought on her way to her room she bumped onto someone….."ouch!!"Clarice said rubbing her hand on her head ..looking up to see who she bumped onto …Clarice gasped at the sight of the person like as if been in shock at the sight of the person ...…
