Chapter 42: Ambush
There was one thing to be noticed. Pearl had told Dante many things and all those things could be said to be incomplete information because Pearl was not a reliable narrator due to her Lazy and playful character.
Pearl most likely skipped a lot of information or didn't pay much attention to details.
Well, all things will be cleared in the future as Dante sat in his car zex22 with all his new friends.
Obviously there was not enough space, so he used car spirit to increase the space of the Car to 10 meters inside, meaning the inside of car became larger.
Definitely high tech: formations were installed in the car, no wonder it cost over 1000 Aura crystals. Normal zero ranker could never afford this car.
Everyone sat in the car and were amazed by the interior which looked expensive. There was even beverage to drink and snacks available.
Dante used his system GPS to visit one of his aunt's famous Cloth shops known as 'Cats Tail'. Yea his aunt named her brand after her name. The brand shop was one of the most popular shops in the Kingdoms all over the world.
In the wolf territory, it was ranked 2nd in terms of fame and likability.
It took them 20 minutes to reach their destination.
It was already sunset time. After reaching the Shop, the guards look at Dante and his companions with disgust.
The clothes that his fellow companions were wearing were not good after all. He was also not wearing very expensive clothes either.
Dante could feel the disgust of people around the Cloth Shop and he knew that face slapping event was approaching.
'F*ck not this shit again..." Before Dante could finish his thoughts the guards at the gate stopped with a hand sign.
"Stop where are you going? This is not a place you can visit." Guard shouted with extreme disgust. This guard was at least a peak zero ranker.
Dante didn't want to talk so he waved his hand toward Kai who released his Aura and the guard fell to his knees.
"Forgive me, sir."
Dante didn't stop at all and moved inside the shop with his friends.
He went to the counter and showed them his ring. The clerk saw the ring and was really anxious now because he knew that Dan was from Wolf's family. Only one person was a male child in the family. He was Dante von Wolfsberg.
"Greetings lord Dante, kindly come I will guide you towards the VIP area."
She lead Dan and all kids toward the area where only the most expensive clothes were kept.
The lift to take them to the tenth floor was made up of formations. The building of the Clothes shop had 10 floors in total. The tenth floor was for VIPs and nobles of relatively high rank.
Once everyone started moving up they could see the view of the beautiful sun setting. Dan also noticed everyone around him.
Dan's eyes stopped at Snow, he didn't know why but he was peeking at her for a long time. Like he was lost in her figure. Everyone noticed that easily, while Dan was not thinking straight. A little sunlight on his eyes created a flare that made him look away.
Snow had a unique beauty. She was white like snow and truly fit the title of 'Ice Beauty'. She was like a doll and anyone would be amazed if they looked at her when she was completely dressed and had accessories.
Dan had shown a new reaction today, which Pearl and Kai noticed easily.
Something was going on. This was ignored by people for now.
They reached the highest floor and Dante came out of the lift with his Signature kind smile.
A man came out of the door to enter the shop on this floor. He was the manager of this building and was a high-ranked figure in a noble circle.
He was Viscount Fleur Mint. Yeah, he had a weird name and he looked even weirder. He was dressed like a transgender even though he was male. Everyone looked at him with bright looks like they saw a new species.
"Greetings Dan Dan, it has been a while. I missed you. Come hug me."
Fleur hugged Dante who was truly paralyzed by this situation.
Dan knew this guy, he came many times to the mansion with his Aunt Cat.
Definitely a weird guy but also full of life. He was Rank 2 Aurar. Pretty strong Wizard if he was being honest.
"Good to meet you as well Mr.Fleur. Today my visit is for business. I need to buy clothes for my new friends and companions. They are all my future knights."
Dante break the hug and said while smiling with no change in his expression.
"Oh, such beautiful ladies and gents." The hands of Fleur found themselves on all ladies and gents behind him. That included Kai and Razor as well who were looking like they ate shit.
Fleur checked all ladies very thoroughly and Dan knew he could not help them. After all, Fleur was a clothing designer and expert in the field.
"Sure, ladies and gents follow me."
Fleur started walking and everyone followed with stoic looks on their faces.
The situation was weird now. Dante just wanted to buy clothes but this happened sadly.
'Shit shit shit. Why is my life full of drama? I am sure today more weird shit will happen most likely.' He shouldn't have said that because he had jinxed himself.
Dante and company followed Fleur to the Cloth shop where 2 ladies were standing to help choose dresses.
"Come here ladies, I will show you our best dresses." Lady A said while walking towards Sarah.
Sarah had a stoic personality with little to no emotions visible. She was a knowledge nerd type girl with only glasses missing on her beautiful face.
"Kindly, help them in cleaning and also change all clothes they are currently wearing as well."
Everyone looked at Dan who just smiled.
Lady A took all girls to the next room and began her work.
Dante was waiting while Kai and Razor were also presented with different clothes fashion to choose from.
Dante also looked through suits and battle armor made up of special metal.
He decided to buy both with 3 sets each. He was rich and didn't care about being wasteful.
Dante equipped Battle suit armor. While putting the rest of suits in his ring. He also bought some shoes and watches. His total expenditure was 100 Aura crystals. He was happy with that. Reason being the protection he got from a battle suit.

He was really happy with this thin battle suit, it was completely black and can be worn inside any clothes. He decided to buy it for all his companions.
It needed 1 AuC to store its barrier again and also for repairing it if damaged. He decided to store 5 AuC worth of Barrier strength in the suit. That was the limit and he couldn't do anything about it.
'I should learn formations and Equipment Forging.'
He knew that both of these fields were Top professions in the Lycia Continent. They were all divided into tiers. Tier 0 Formation Aurars and Tier 0 Equipment Forgers were pretty much Apprentice-ranked but respected by Rank 0 Aurars. Above that was Expert, Master, and Grandmaster tier professions which were highly sort after.
As Dan was lost in his thoughts. The door opened and 4 beautiful ladies came out.
Razor had his mouth opened when he saw the girls who had turned into fairies and supermodels. All these girls were older than Dante except Bella who was of similar height as Dante now.
All of them looked like 10 years old growing beauties. They looked gorgeous and that was an understatement. They looked beautiful beyond any pure beauty. No wonder wars were fought after beauties in past.
'Amazing. Beautiful. Heartwarming. Such charm, even I might look ugly if I stand with them haha.' He was mind blown by this change of events.
"Beautiful. All of you look beyond gorgeous." Dan decided to compliment them to gain some affection points. It is better to play the safe game here and make a good expression.
All girls were happy to be complimented and smiled happily.
"All right. What other dresses did you ladies buy? Pack them all and checkout." He said while looking at lady A.
Lady B was helping Razor to equip Battle suit Armor. Dante bought sets for all his prospects and future knights.
"We don't need so many clothes. This dress is already enough." Snow came forward with an anxious smile.
"Yes young master, this dress is enough. Besides we will buy some normal clothes when we visit shops later." Sarah also voiced her thoughts.
"What are you ladies talking about? Everything you want is yours. My sister loves to buy everything. I am sure you girls also like beautiful dresses and jewelry. Go and buy everything you like. Don't worry about anything. Consider this my gift to you." Dante smiled and told Lady A to bring 10 types of dresses and the most popular jewelry sets for the girls around him.
All the little girls were shocked at first then started checking dresses and jewelry with eyes full of delight. Girls will be girls is what all Males present thought.
Viscount Fleur also brought dresses for girls which fit them perfectly and looked best on them.
Everything was packed and the girls looked at Dan with thankful expressions and affection.
Nobody has bought them such gifts before.
The cost of these things was going to be monumental.
"So what's the word?"
Manager Fleur checked the bill and smiled.
"100,000 Aura Coins"
"Here keep the remainder as a gift."
Dante gave 100 Aura crystals to the Manager and started walking towards the exit with Kai behind him.
All kids followed behind with shocked expressions. The cost was outrageous for something like clothes. This was daylight robbery.
Each dress of theirs cost more than 4 Bedroom House in the west side of Wolf city.
The West Side of Wolf city was a place where rich people lived. Including nobles of Baron and viscount ranks.
One must understand that house made with bricks had no value in eyes of Aurars. Only Defensive formations surrounding the house was expensive commodity.
Houses had no value for Nobles. Besides, they only let nobles live in the west side due to power control and Racism.
Nobles and Commoners were thought to be different races altogether in society.
"Thank You for such a gift, Dan," Snow said while smiling happily.
"Thank you but you didn't have to buy such expensive things. We are not worthy of that." Elsa said with determination.
"Welcome. It doesn't matter besides you look beautiful now and that is a gift enough for me. Money is utilized perfectly as far as I see. Hehe."
Dante with a sweet smile looked at the ladies wearing beautiful dresses and jewelry. They all blushed up to their necks.
Hence the day was concluded and they started traveling back home.

The zexton 22 could fly and Dante used this function to reach home fast within 30 minutes.
The city was extremely large. This was a major city of Wolf's territory and Flora Kingdom. Only 4 more other cities rivaled the vastness and grandness of Wolf city.
While traveling back home Dan was lost in his thoughts and looked at Snow again, lost in her white hair and white ears. Everyone noticed it including Snow who was sadly too pure right now and didn't have mental growth as vast as Bella or Sarah.
Snow didn't dislike being watched, rather she liked it. Snow was not sure and she didn't know what this feeling meant.
Dante was lost in his thinking and didn't look away making the atmosphere weird which was changed by Razor to clear the mood.
"So Dan, what are we going to do after we return? Will we train to become knights or also maids?" Razor looked excited.
Dante came out of his trance which he didn't know was noticed. Dante showed a smile and began explaining.
"Well, you will learn everything regarding etiquette, education, training, and Aurars."
While he started explaining. Something happened.
The light appeared on Dan and others excluding Kai who looked Serious and started using his Aura but he was too late.
- Hurry Activate your Defensive Artifact.-
This was the last thing Dan heard before vanishing from Car.
The light was gone from the car and only Kai remained present. He used the Aura Link device to notify Dutchess about the situation.
"Young master Dante has been Kidnapped. Priority: Catastrophe."
Within 30 seconds the whole city was surrounded by a Defensive formation.
The start of disaster has begun that will be the end of many forces.
