Chapter 2: Treasure

It's been three months since he came to this World. Walking slowly in the yard, his breathing soon became chaotic again. Taking a deep breath, he walked back slowly.

Gu Chengyun watched him walking painfully with cold sweat oozing out of his forehead. His lips pursed. This young master was completely different from what he heard. He always gave him a sense of crisis when he glanced at him. He shook his head, this must be his illusion.

What does it matter, he, Gu Chengyun, is now only a slave of another party where he could work all day and vent at night. A good thing that this young master is sick and doesn't ask him to serve him, or he might kill him in a fit of anger

Both lived under the same roof for more than three months but the relationship seemed to be just as indifferent. The place they currently live is a mountain in Qixin village. Other people are living in the village too but their place of residence is at the foot of the mountain.

Gu Chengyun went back to do the house chores again and cook food for dinner. Li Zhi Cheng also entered his room and locked it from the inside. His eyes were cold.

It seemed he needed to speed up the process. A weakling like him may be crushed to death by even villagers at the foot of the mountain, let alone the Li family if they wanted to trouble him.

He doesn't want to gamble on the conscience of others to let him go.

Wiping his sweat, he started fumbling with the big wooden box filled with clothes. After rummaging through all this, he found an unremarkable old box and picked it up. Opening the box, there were a few rolls of silver bills. Carefully looking at it, the height of the box does not match the inside. Picking out the bills, he carefully pulled out the inside of the box. What came into sight was a pair of daggers and a Red jade with some unknown pattern on it.

So beautiful...

This was only thought at this pair of daggers. He can recognize this at a glance. A Fairbairn Sykes-type knife dagger.

The black texture of unknown metal exudes a chill. Picking out the Jade then he carefully picked up the daggers. The indifference in his eyes softened a lot.

It's regretful that he is too weak currently to exert the power of these daggers even to a minimum.

He had sorted a lot of information and common sense these days. Carefully picking up a dagger, he slashed his palm. Blood dripped on both daggers and the black slender blade lit up with red unknown patterns. The daggers disappeared and a small tattoo of daggers crossing each other appeared on his left wrist. Touching it again, the blades reappeared. After enjoying the game for a while, he decided to pack things back into the box. He will need this silver very soon.

Just as he touched the Jade to put it back, the jade disappeared in place. Now it was his turn to be speechless.

He thought of the jade but instead felt dizzy. When dizziness swept away, in front of him was a vast expanse of empty earth, a small lake to his side and a bamboo hut in front. Tell him that he doesn't understand what it is, then it is a waste of the modern transmigration novels knowledge bank that the network holds.

Walking into the hut, all he could see were multiple rows of bottles holding elixir. A box in the middle with multiple thin books in it, probably 3 or four books. A whole row of books on two walls in the hut.

Looking at these things and the sudden information in his mind, he knows these are all good things and also made up for his lack of knowledge. The lake outside is a spiritual lake and the fields are to plant various plants. There is also a spirit stone. A crystal is full of spiritual energy. According to currency, 1000 silver equates to one Gold and 1000 gold equates to one low-grade spirit stone. The only grade found in this continent.

He thought he transmigrated into this new world, a very interesting world. Who knew, corners of his mouth ros, this was not just a 'very' interesting world. This continent is just a low-grade mortal continent. There are countless similar as well as higher continents out there.

He thought of slowly regaining strength and growing stronger, now he doesn't want to do it slowly. This world described as low grade is already strong for him. Here, a weak person like him is at the bottom of the food chain.

Li Zhi Cheng walked out towards the lake, scooped a mouthful of water and drank in one go. It wasn't as exaggerated as in novels. The slowly forming layer of black mucus over his body made him disgusted. The stench was unbearable.

Walking out of space, he hurried into the hut where the water tank was placed and thoroughly scrubbed himself clean for hours before he could rush back to his room.

The strength of his body has indeed increased and he could feel his breathing was smooth. He changed his clothes and went back to space. The thing he most anticipated after getting the information in his mind.

Walking towards the wall, a fist size spherical crystal ball was placed there. Picking it up, he tried to inject the spiritual power in his body into the ball. Looking at the two radiant colours on the ball, he felt it was worth it. Half of the ball was glowing in green and the other half was glowing in brown.

These are his spiritual roots. A dual-line spirit roots with equal size. And both are highly compatible with each other.

On the table was the method of absorbing spiritual power. Opening the book, information was already in his mind.

He closed his eyes. Taking a deep breath. This day was worth it.
