Micah pulled over in front of his building, it was a house made of glass, at night when there is lights on, you can see the interior of the house from outside, but you can see the second floor both in day and night time, he had moved here after Zana got married, he loves the quietness of the area so much, he got out of his BMW, pulled out his suitcase and walked up the porch and put in his password and then pushed the glass door open, he got in and noticed immediately that there was someone in the house, he paused for a second and then made his way into the interior of the house and fair enough, there was a young girl dancing to a music, he stared at her shocked before curving his lips upward in a faint smile, the girl noticed his presence and turned to look at him before smiling brilliantly and then running forward and throwing herself into his arms.

/"What are you doing here?/" Micah asked and she feigned to be hurt and acted like she was about to cry.

/"I know you don't miss me, you hardly call me to check up on me and when I visits, you are always ask 'what are you doing her' what is the matter, don't you love me anymore?/" She asked in a childish voice, she looks eighteen and very sexy, a brunette just like him, with a light golden brown eyes.

Micah patted her head after her whining and dropped his suitcase on a sofa along with his suit jacket before reaching to remove his tie, he unbuttoned the collar of his shirt and then folding the sleeves to his elbow, he made his way into the kitchen, he opened the refrigerator and took out a bottled water, he got a water glass from the shelf and poured himself a full cup, he down it in one go and poured another glass, he drank half of that one before looking at the young girl that had followed him into the kitchen and was standing at the door frame with her arms crossed on her chest, he chuckled and then finished the remaining water in the glass and he dropped the glass back on the shelf, he picked an apple from the fruit basket on the table, he took a bite and then turned to look at her again

/"What do you want Tat?/" He finally asked and she pouted

/"Bro, you have really changed, before whenever I visit you, you tend to me first before doing any other thing but now, you just like ignores me every time/" Tatiana said, she is Micah's cousin, the only daughter of his uncle Brian, he is very fond of her but nowadays he hardly have time for himself or anybody again

He chuckled at her words and casually eat his apple, and walked into the sitting room again, he sat on the sofa and relaxed his legs, he took another bite of the apple and looked up at her who just followed him back into the sitting room

/"I don't ignore you Tat, I'm just busy/" he said and she frowned

/"Busy doing what? You go to office as early as seven or eight o'clock and return as late as ten in the night or sometimes eleven, you waste all your time in the office doing absolutely nothing/" she said and he chuckled

/"How do you know I'm doing absolutely nothing, hmm?/" He asked with a faint smile /"I have always told you to alert me anytime you are coming so that I will return early but you never did, will you blame me hmm?/" He asked again and stood up, he threw the apple seeds into the waste bin before walking over to his minibar, he poured himself a glass of scotch and then took a sip

/"You have eaten?/" He asked her and she shook her head /"what do you want to eat or do you want to eat out?/"

/"I'm not staying over/" she said

/"Oh/" he said, he looked at the wall clock, it was fifteen minutes to eleven /"since you know you were going to stay here till now why didn't you eat? it's late/" he asked and she scoffed

/"Look who is talking, have you eaten?/" She asked and he sipped his drink

/"I'm not hungry/" he said and she rolled her eyes /"when are you preparing to leave then?/" He asked

/"Right now/" she said

/"Oh/" he let out again and nodded before sipping his drink

/"Have you gotten a girlfriend?/" She asked and he smiled

/"I don't need one/" he said

/"Why not? You are thirty, big bro Mac married at twenty six, what are you waiting for?/" She asked with an obvious frown on her face and he smiled

/"I don't want to get married/" he said

/"Why not? Because of her?/" She asked and his face darkened, she doesn't need to mention a name for him to know who she is referring to, he sighed and finished his drink in one go before pouring himself another

/"I have gotten over her/" he said

/"Really? Have you now?/" She asked obviously not believing him and he nodded /"then why is your password her birth month?/" She asked and he stiffened for a moment before relaxing and taking another sip of his drink

/"I will change it soon/" he said and she scoffed

/"That's what you've been saying for the past two years bro, can't you just let her go?/" She asked and he stared at her

/"How old are you?/" He suddenly asked and she froze, he always know her age, she thought

/"I'm eighteen/" she said and he let out an /"ah/" before sipping his drink again

/"Is it always going to be like this when you come home? Drinking to you are drunk?/" She asked and he sighed

/"Its getting late Tat, if you know you won't stay here, you better start going, should I call you a cab?/" He asked and she shook her head unbelievably at him

/"I need some money/" she said and he looked at her

/"I sent you money two weeks ago, what did you do with it?/" He asked

/"I spent it, you should be happy that I'm asking you for money after all there is no one to/" she said and walked back to the sofa where she dropped her bag and also picked up his phone from the table and walked back to him, she handed the phone to him while he kept staring at her before finally taking the phone from her

/"How much?/" He asked while opening the app for transfer

/"Hundred thousand dollars?/" She asked looking cute and he stared at her immediately

/"What for?/" He asked with a frown and she immediately reached out to grab his arm before acting cute

/"Big bro, Tessy and I are going shopping and I will be going back to school tomorrow, exam will be starting soon and you know how it is in Harvard, it's not easy, I won't be free to travel again or do anything till after exam, so please? Please please please?/" She blinked her eyes lids consistently and he sighed before wiring the amount to her, she received it five seconds later and immediately reached to kiss his cheeks /"thank you bro, you are the best/" she said and he chuckled

/"I will be till the day you bankrupt me/" he said and she blinked twice

/"Bankrupt you? How possible, how can I bankrupt Micah Steele 'the Micah Steel? The CEO of the Steele Empire? I don't think that is possible and moreover if you want me to stop then go get a girlfriend/" she said as she turned from him to walk to the door, he stared after her and chuckled whilst shaking his head, he doesn't know where he got this cousin sister from but he really loves her

/"Bye bro, call you when I get home/" she said to him then before adding /"actually I'm heading over to big bro Mac's place, he promise me some money when I will be leaving/" she said and then gave him a cheeky smile and when Micah realized he had just been conned by her she was already out the door and he couldn't do anything but chuckle before retuning to his drink, he is going to drink like that till he gets drunk and then go to bed, that's how his life had been for the past two years, he goes to work, come back and then drink, his life holds no meaning to him anymore after all there is no joy in it.
