Chapter 3: Bizzare situation (2) and meet up

I 'shouted' or should I say tried to shout because just a few letters later my throat gave up.
3 months had passed since I found the return stone and made the 'wise' decision to continue forward; just a few weeks later I regretted it. It's been months since my supplies finished off and the experiences I got till now was one of the worst. If not for the presence of mana a normal human would have been long dead.
Actually, I once tried to eat bat meat but you know 'that virus' *cough* moving on... cause I don't know if it's safe or not I drop that plan.
Later, thanking the previous Kalki and the goddess middle school teacher, I started searching for the common edible plants inside the dungeons and gates. After searching I even found one but let's not talk about that just remembering it makes my mouth go numb.
But the delight I got from the view in front of me makes me forget all my bad experiences. I finally found the place where 'that' resides.
In the novel, very few things were mentioned about this location either due to the author not being considering it important or him being just lazy. I believe in the second one because first, he dropped the banger by telling us there were 9 primordial dragon arts, not 7 but then he literally flushed it in the drain. The only info I know is that those things are inside the hidden cabin near the waterfall and the way to open it is through the four-leaf clover near the waterfall.
As I reached closer to the waterfall I instantly experienced 6 faces of denial. There were thousands of clovers covering the whole area near the water's surface. Already knowing what I have to do now I started my search. After all, there is not much energy left in me to throw a tantrum.

Now I finally understood what the perk of being one of the main leads meant. For the past two days the 'mission' found the four-leaf clover is in full bloom but the results are simple sh*t. Remembering the scene of Drago 'accidentally' plucking it just made me jealous of his sugar dadd- *cough ….cough ** plot armor. But to be honest for a moment there, I thought it was easier to find God.
I was doing my regular search and seizure mission when I suddenly got a glimpse of my target. That four-leaf bastard was right beside my resting place all along I instantly spawned there (*not really*) and plucked it as I am plucking my girlfriend's wax strip.
*thud…thud…thud*
Some stones moved here and there and then I finally got to the site of that gorgeous, dark underground tunnel; no it doesn't look suspicious, not at all. I did not run instantly there after all who knows how much more I have to travel after all. A wise man once said to learn from your experiences and now I am applying it.
After putting my 'food' and other stuff inside my own dimension, 'all hail stigma' I carried my daggers and started moving towards the tunnel.
Unexpectedly, the tunnel was very short with no danger. It only took me 2 hours and only two-night bat parties showed up so yeah it was very 'safe'. But looking at two floating books in front I forget everything else.

Kalki started moving towards the floating books. They were at the center of the dark room with a ray of light shining on them. As he reached near them suddenly a thunderous voice rang throughout the room and two auras flushed out of the books with their distinct black and white color. The white one spoke-
"boy, which one will you choose?"

The sudden events shocked me so much that I was standing there staring at them like an idiot because there were no such events in the plot. Suddenly, the second call brought me back from my imagination
I can see two aura-shaped dragons protruding out of the books. Well it was my first time in front of such enormous beings so I gave the dumbest reply.
"Why can't both?"

(*silence*)
Sh*t I fu*ked up a real big this time.

The light dragon got his interest piqued by the reply of the young child whereas the shadow dragon labeled him dumb. Light dragon spoke
"But why should we give you both?"

" cause I can use them"
.
"Are you half retarded, don't you know one person can only have one art at a time ?" said the shadow dragon

" but I think I can have both"

" child I know your soul is special and you have two stigmas instead of one. Maybe you will be able to get two arts at a time but you will not be able to use them as effectively as you use one.
And it can be dangerous if you fail. "(light dragon)

"Thanks, but after suffering for this long I don't want anyone else to reap my profit. That's why I want to give it a try " I replied honestly.

" Ciana, let that retard do what he wants after all from his actions till now it's clear that he knows what he is doing," said the shadow dragon in an annoyed way.
' I was dumbstruck. I never knew they were watching me all along. So now I understand what 'soul being special' means. So does that mean they knew something about me? '
" Erebus, stop being rude to the boy, and don't speak nonsense," said Ciana (light dragon).

"Boy, we know that you got both of your souls merged perfectly a few months earlier but the power contained inside each Arts is just too massive. Even if you have a strong will, a little bit of fault can cost you your life. So make your decision wisely."
Even after listening to them, there was no way I was gonna do that. This was one of my chances to get power up without changing a major plot and I already know the way by which I can use both arts simultaneously.
" I am still gonna attempt it, " I said with resolve.

" Ciana, let that retard do what he wants ". (erebus)

" Okay, if that's your decision then go ahead ". (Ciana)

I walked towards the books and picked the black one first. A notification flashed in front of me.
[ Do you want to replace your "dark panther art" with "shadow dragon art"? ]

I proceeded with yes. Just a few minutes later the process got completed. The black book that I was holding crumbled down like sand and disappeared.
Now I walked towards the white book and held it in my hand. A similar message appears once again ensuring that I can hold onto the arts simultaneously.

After clicking on yes I braced myself for the impact, after all I was not the first person who did this and in novels, it was mentioned as a 'painful' process.
Suddenly, my mana started rampaging inside me. All of my mana was getting out of my body at a very fast pace. Even though from the outside it looks like I lost it but actually I was the one allowing it to happen. Just before my mana was going to be empty I started pushing it on the walls of the container and with a little boom my mana container broke. The pain was unimaginable. It was the first time I experienced something like this, thus I started losing consciousness. With all my willpower I started the last and final step. I started guiding my mana toward my right side and started forming a mana core. After completely forming the mana core I lost consciousness and let the mana automatically heal me.
In the novel, our 'original' MC was in a similar situation where his soul got shattered two half later after merging them he kinda had a similar situation like me. He then tried to obtain two arts but in the middle of the process faced mana exhaustion. But being one of the important characters of the story his 'cheats' get activated, I mean his stigma gets activated and to balance, the power inside his body creates a second mana core for him.
But the real reason why I used this method was that after creating a second mana core your talent and mana are bound to evolve.
