Chapter 7: Ashley{6}
I woke up again for the second time and looked to my right where I had seen a wall clock earlier and I gasped. I've been here for about 8hrs or so.
I saw a red button at the edge of the bed close to my arm and I pushed it. Minutes later, a doctor and two nurses walked in.
"you're awake, that's a good sign . How do you feel? "
"I feel like a truck ran me over"
"I'll prescribe some drugs to speed up your healing process and also some pain killers. But, you'll be under strict supervision for at least a week. Would you like to hear how severe your injuries are?"
"Yes, doctor Sol."
"We've already done a full check up on you. you have three broken ribs, a dislocated shoulder and knee, a mild concoction, a broken arm and a torn lip. would you mind telling me how this happened in a fight Ashley?"
So he told the doctor I got into a fight, how pathetic!
"I got into a fight with someone who I was clearly no match for"
I won't be as heartless as he is and tell on him. He can go to hell for all I care.
"Well I'll tell your mom you're awake now"
"Thank you doctor"
"You're most welcome, Ashley."
I could hear doctor Sol talking to my family and minutes later, even before he was through with what he was saying, the door burst open and my bestie came at me like a ragging bull.
*Sniff..sniff*
"What happened to you, how, when, where, who did this to you? I swear I'll kill the fucker myself! just gimme a name and it's done" that's just like my bestie to rant on. Jezz this girl can go on about a bitch.
"Breath Jess, you're turning blue, c'mon deep breaths...relax baby, I'm fine. And you don't need to kill anyone"
"I thought I'd lost you, I was scared. Scratch that, I was petrified shitless"
*Sniff..sniff* "never do something like this again Ash. why'd you not tell me someone wanted to fight you?"
"*Sigh* I didn't get into a fight"
"Huh? then how'd this happen?"
"Your brother thought it'd be fun to beat the shit outta me, and throw me in a lake, when he clearly knows I can't swim"
"O my gosh Ash, I'm so sorry. I didn't know. He should wait till mom hears this"
"No Jess, I don't want you telling on him. He's a lost cause. Besides, I'm sure he'll never change. All hopes on him is lost Jess, there's no going back from this now. I was wondering who brought me here"
"It was Ethan"
*Silence*
"He just left a few minutes ago, your mom was scolding him for wearing wet clothes for hours and said she'd only let him see you if he went home and got changed"
"What does he want to see me for? oh, I get it. He wants to see if he did a great job on messing me up or he probably wants to finish what he started, right?"
"I don't think so ash..he...he was crying when we got here and he's been asleep by your bed side since you we're brought here"
"Oh please Jess, you expect me to believe that out of all the horrible people out there ETHAN MICHAELS was here, in MY room all day, and was crying? Seriously Jess?"
"I swear, why would I lie to you? have I ever lied to you before?"
"Got a point there. But I still I don't believe it. Where's my mom?"
"They're outside. The doctor said we could only see you one at a time but I couldn't wait anymore so I just ran in"
"You've always been impatient jess"
I chuckled at my best friends scowling face
"Tell my mom to go home please, I don't want her to see me like this. I only want my brothers right now"
"But she..."
"Please Jess"
"*Sigh* fine, but you better see her first thing when you get home"
"Thank you Jess"
I smiled at my crazy bestie as she walked out.
Jessica's POV

Ohh my poor baby Ashley, what did he ever do to that stupid brother of mine? he doesn't deserve this! He deserves all the love and kindness this world has to offer!
God, I hate Ethan so much. Why does the universe hate me so much it made Ethan my brother?
I'll definitely make him pay for this.

Who the fuck could've done this to Ashley? He's such a loving quiet boy.
Just wait till I get this person. I'll have his head for breakfast!

My brothers walk in together and sit close to me.
They're identical twins, not even my mom could tell the difference between them but I can. It still surprises them how I can tell Jake from Edward.
"Hey lil bro, how you feeling"
"I feel like crap jake"
"Well unlucky you then cause we're baby sitting you for a month"
"I hate you Eddy"
Both brothers/ "aww we know you don't"
"Get some rest dweeb you'll be outta here in a week, dad should be back by then"
"Alright, can you leave now? I need time with my best friend!"
"She's your ONLY friend!"
"Shut up and get out!!"
"Chill okay, no need to bite little tiger, sheesh"
They snickered and left.
Finally some peace!
