Chapter 22: BETRAYER
THE LATCO KINGDOM
THREE DAYS LATER / THE KING'S CHAMBER
The third-person omniscient point of view
King Vince held Hina's hand caressing it softly while looking so worried.
"Hina, it been two days now and you don't wake up,
I miss you a lot, I miss you in my arms, I miss your small lips in my, I miss your smile and our lovemaking. Please wake up soon. "King Vince said gently stroking her hair as tears roll down his face.
"Svegliati presto amore mio, mi manchi piu di ogni altra cosa al mondo ( wake up soon my love, I miss you more than anything in this world) " King Vince said in Italia as he clean his tear with a face towel he was holding
Hina suddenly move her hand and king Vince looked at her hand happily.
She squinted her eyes repeatedly trying to open her eyes.
"Call the physician. "King Vince yelled at Eric who is holding a file beside him.
When Hina finally does, she closed them back to adjust the brightness of the light in the king's chamber. She finally open her eyes before the physician arrived.
"How are you feeling?" King Vince asked and Hina smile lightly.
"I'm good, what happened to me? while is the physician here?" Hina asked
"You have been lying unconscious on the bed for the past three days. "King Vince said
"What?" Hina said and tried to stand up but a growl left her mouth as she felt a light pain in her body.
The physician move closer to her and checked if she was okay.
"Your Majesty, My lady is okay. "The physician said and bowl
"How about my baby?" King Vince asked
"He is fine, your majesty. "The physician said with a light smile.
"Okay, you can go. "He commanded and the physician bowed lightly before leaving the chamber with Eric behind her.
"How did I end up here?" She asked the king
"So, you did not remember anything?" The king also asked, and then, Hina remember how she was feeling weird after eating the apple pies and the chicken nuggets Vanilla baked,
and how she fainted in someone's arms.
"Who brought me back to the chamber?" She asked in surprise.
"I do, what did you eat that day and who gave you the food?" The king asked trying to keep on his calm.
"I eat apple pies and chicken nuggets Vanilla baked for me. "Hina said and give him a questioning look.
"What else did you eat that day?" He asked again
"That's what I eat, what happened? did anything happen to my baby?" Hina asked while touching her tummy.
"I think the food was poison. "He replied and Hina looked up immediately.
"Why will Vanilla try to kill me?" Hina asked inwardly as a tear rolled down her eyes.
"Don't worry Beauty, I will take care of it. "King Vince said patting Hina lightly.
King Vince pat Hina back till she fell asleep. He covered her well with a duvet before walking out of his chamber.
The guards rose up and bowed for him immediately after they saw him.
"Greeting your majesty. "The chorused.
"Eric, you and some guards should go and look for a maid named Vanilla. Dragged her away rotely and throw her into the dungeon, chain her up and start by lasting every part of her body,
Whip her till she tells you why she does that. "The king commanded
"As your lordship order. "The guards bowed and leave immediately, while King Vince also leave to make something for Hina before she woke up again.
SOMEWHERE IN THE PALACE
"How dare you poison her?" A maid yelled to another maid.
"I poison her, and so. "The second maid said with no emotions in her eyes.
"How could you? do you even have a heart at all?" The first maid said in anger.
"Hey, Miss, stop acting as if you care about her when you don't care. "The second maid yelled but she receive a thundering slap from the first maid in return,
another slap landed on her cheeks before she recover from the first slap and two teeth flew off from her mouth and she falls to the floor bleeding, and her eyes were seeing stars.
"How dare you do that to her. "She yelled and pulled her up and kicked her in her tummy,
the second maid cried in pain but the first maid is not ready to leave her. She lands a punch on her mouth and two teeth flew off her mouth she falls to the floor bleeding heavily, and her eyes were seeing stars.
She tried to land a punch on her mouth again, but her hand was held in a mid-way.
" Did you want to kill her, Sara?" An angry voice asked, looking at her in disbelief.
"She deserves it. "Sara muttered and tried to walk away but she hold her back.
"Why did you do that?" She asked in anger.
"Why don't you ask your betrayer friend about it? please if you will excuse me, I have a lot to do. "Sara muttered and tried to walk away
"Molly, Vanilla and Sara, follow me now. "The head maid said in anger
THE HEAD MAID'S CHAMBER
Vanilla, Molly and Sara were standing in front of the head maid whose anger was written all over her face.
"What is the matter?" The head maid asked looking so pissed up.
"She started it. "Vanilla muttered in anger.
"I started what? tell them what you did betrayer if you won't receive another slap from them. "Sara said and Molly send her a horrible glare.
"Am lost here, can you both talk and don't put me in dark?" Madam Mega yelled.
"She's a betrayer, so I give her what someone like her deserves. "Sara said while Vanilla only groaned in pain.
"Did you just call her a betrayer? what about you that report Hina to princess Rose because of your stupid jealousy?" Molly asked in fury.
"At least I did not pretend to like her, I show my emotion towards her. I am not a two face devil like her. I hope you will not be the one to end her misrable life, when you find out about her evil deed. "Sara said and Molly face Vanilla.
"What is going on? what is Sara talking about? can you both talk and don't put me in dark?" Molly yelled in anger.
A loud knock from the door stopped the head maid from what she was about to say before walking toward the door.
"Good day, Madam Mega. "Eric and the other guards greeted
"Good day, what are you doing here?" Madam Mega asked in a panic.
"Is Vanilla here?" Eric asked
"Yes, what happened?" Madam Mega asked
"The king sent for her. "He responds and Madam Mega left the entrance and lets them in.
Two of the guards walked toward Vanilla and drag her out of the room in anger while Madam Mega and Molly watched with shock but Sara smirked and also left the room leaving Madam Mega and Molly in shock.
When Molly came back to her sense, she rushed out and start looking for Sara. She needed to know the meaning of the scene she (Sara) had just creat.
# I heard she poison Hina!
# I knew her love for Hina is fake!
# How can she poison her friend?
# I have never liked that Vanilla girl before! how on the earth someone's name will be vanilla?
# Like seriously! when I also hear the head made call her Vanilla, I thought she call her that because she love the vanilla taste!
# I knew she was a two face devil!!
# She the way she always acts like she loves Hina! that fool sometimes makes me hate Hina!
# I have always thought to become her friend one day!
# I love what Sara did to her, she deserves it!

The maids and the guards were giving bad comments about Vanilla as the guards drag her away.
Every palace worker has come to love Hina after the king saves her from dying.
They all believe the king change the cruel rule the formal ruler of the Latco kingdom set because of Hina. And all thank Hina, they we still are living in fair by now.
The guards dragged Vanilla out in anger, and throw her into the dungeon.
They chain her up very tight and start whipping her, they can't whip her very hard because she was already bleeding.
Eric entered the dungeon and see the way the guards were whipping her as if there have no energy lift with them.
"Why are you whipping as if you haven't eaten today?" He asked in anger.
"Sorry commander, we do that because she's already weak." One of the guards replied.
"Whipped her well or do you need a sample?" He asked in anger. Eric hate it when King Vince looked sad. He had been his guard for a very long time. King Vince took him as a brother and they both understand themself. He knows how King Vince loves Hina,
and how the king has not been himself for the past three days because of this crazy girl. He can't wait to know the fool that sends her, because he knew she can't do it without any royal support.
"No, commander. "They chorused and increase the way they are whipping her and Vanilla's screams echoed all through the dungeon.
"Don't stop whipping her until you receive a message from me or the king. "He commands before walking out of the dungeon.
"Okay, commander. "They chorused and whip Vanilla more with the anger in them.
Everyone loves Hina, even the guards, and they can't avoid losing her.
