Chapter 4: Viewer's Dimension

Jeffrey put down his phone and stared at his pet weasel before he called it.

"Come here Wex"

The weasel after hearing Jeffrey's call immediately ran towards him. The weasel was always in the history room and without his permission never went out.

Wex climbed up Jeffrey's arm before coiling around his neck like a scarf. Then they both left the room and went downstairs.

Moon saw Jeffrey descending the stairs and smirked. She had heard about him becoming a newbie on discord and wanted to tease him about it but Jeffrey's comment made her livid.

"If you're gonna say something then speak, don't stare at me like a mouse with constipation," he said indifferently and that indifference was what annoyed Moon the most.

"You're the mouse suffering from constipation you hear me" Moon roared in anger, drawing their mom's attention.

"What is it this time?" Tina walked out of the kitchen all frustrated. Despite being grown up, her kids were always causing trouble, especially Sun.

"It's Sun's fault, he's insulting me again" Moon explained still looking annoyed.

Jeffrey did not even defend himself and just shrugged.

Tina looked at them and sighed before turning to Moon. "Moon, you are older than Sun by four years, yet every second you allow him to bully you, what is wrong with you?"

Moon remained tongue-tied and lowered her head in embarrassment.

Tina then turned to Jeffrey before she continued. "And you, has it been said that I can't have peace after giving birth to you? Please do me a favor and control your mouth sometimes"

"I'll try my best not to speak the truth" Jeffrey replied with a straight face. Tina almost lost it but took a deep breath and went back to the kitchen.

"Watch your back" Moon glared at him.

"With your measly IQ, I can handle you with my eyes close"

Moon was about to rant out again but when she remembered her mom was already upset she let it go and went to her room.

Jeffrey watched her leave without the slightest change of expression and after she left she went to the kitchen.

"Should I help?" his question made his mom give him a piercing glare but Jeffrey remained unfazed like he was already used to it.

"What do you want?" she asked coldly. She wasn't buying any of his nonsense.

Jeffrey decided to strike while the iron is hot. "I'm going to the viewer's dimension tomorrow"

His mom frowned at his request that wasn't a request. "Why?"

"I promised to meet with Phillip tomorrow"

Tina's frown became deeper and she stopped what she was doing and turned to him. "The critic's kid, Sun I told you that boy is a bad influence"

"He's my only friend and besides his dad thinks I'm a bad influence," Jeffrey said this time his face turned serious. He needed her permission to be able to travel between dimensions, he was still a minor after all.

"You have May" his mom replied stubbornly.

"Really?" Jeffrey asked with dead eyes that looked sort of funny.

Okay but be back before dinner you hear?" Tina sighed.

"Thanks, mom, and keep the advice for Moon, she needs it more than I do," Jeffrey said as he walked out but then he stopped and turned around. "If you need help with your new book, I'm always here"

Tina arched her brows in surprise, she had not told anyone about it. "How did you find out?"

"Lucky guess" Jeffrey shrugged.

Seeing that he wasn't going to speak, she didn't bother asking again and just watched him leave.

"This kid, he's nothing like his dad or me, maybe he was swapped" Tina muttered under her breath but then shook her head to get rid of the thought.

Meanwhile, Jeffrey went back to his room and started making a list of things to get tomorrow before leaving.

The next day at 8 am sharp, Jeffrey was already out of the house and on his way to the dimensional portals.

"Hey Suzzy" Jeffrey greeted as he entered a bookshop. Suzzy was the niece of Madam Charlotte, she would always come to help her aunt every weekend.

"Hello Jeff" Suzzy returned the greeting with a smile.

"I'll take the latest volume of 'Otherworldly' by Fishbone"

"Coming right up" Suzzy wasted no time in getting what he needed. "Oh Aunt said Fishbone will hold a book signing session for his fans next week, you can come along"

"I'm not the one who reads them but thanks for letting me know" Jeffrey paid for the comic and left with Wex.

An hour later, Jeffrey could be seen walking on the streets. He clutched his bag and made his way to Phillip's home.

He completely ignored the bustling world around him. One could easily get lost in the viewer's dimension and that wasn't just said to scare kids it was a fact.

The viewer's dimension is the biggest dimension there is, it's population alone could swallow up ten or more other dimensions.

Outside a huge golden gate, a young boy with spiky blue hair could be seen pacing about. Every few seconds he would look at the distance and his eyes held impatience. Suddenly his impatient eyes brightened when he saw Jeffrey's silhouette approaching.

With hurried steps, he quickly closed the gaps between them.

"You're finally here, let's leave before my crazy sister comes out"

Jeffrey had his brows raised in realization.

Philip's twin sister Serena was a nutshell according to Philip. They were unidentical and so different in many things aside from their appearances.

Jeffrey had never really met Serena before as she was mostly always on vacation with her dad or chilling with her elder brother, so his image of her was made entirely out of Philip's description.

Too bad, before they could leave, Serena opened the gates and came out. "Gotcha" with her hands on her hips she glared at Philip like a thief.

Philip was surprised because he did not expect her to be standing behind the gates for so long.
