Chapter 27: Dead man

"Hey, it's okay, I even thought it was fun"I spoke while trying to calm kendo who had already bowed three times.

It wasn't difficult to reach her, after all, kendo waited for me at the entrance of the building.

"I'm really sorry, that was quite childish of me"Kendo apologized again as she tried to bow, but I stopped her by grabbing her shoulders.

The last thing I wanted was to prolong this conversation and continue to make a scene on the first day of school.

"That's enough Kendo-san, people will think I'm threatening you if you keep" I said it jokingly, hoping to lighten the mood but her reaction was far from what I expected.

She widened her eyes and fell silent.

Did she really believe that?

it's a society of heroes, the most that would happen is they would look at me strangely or think we were students arguing.

"It's a silly joke, let's get in soon." I flicked the naive girl's forehead and entered the building, not waiting for her reaction.

And we walked quietly through the corridors while watching the crowd of students spread out in the corridors or going up and down stairs.

I could see that many of them were confused as they searched the room, a problem I wouldn't have.

Days ago, the System had downloaded the school's map, along with the list of students in each room and their Quirk.

"I think this is where we split up, my class is on the second floor." I commented as I stopped in front of the stairs.

From what I had seen, the rooms for the other courses were on the first floor and rooms 1-B and 1-A on the second floor, there were also several others on the first floor, such as accounting, among others. but this was information that I did not delve into.

And I knew that kendo and I were in the same room, but she didn't know that I had that knowledge, and last week she insisted on keeping it a secret until the last moment so that we wouldn't be apart during the week and lose the friendship, so I was respecting her decision and feigning ignorance.

"What a coincidence, my office is also on the second floor, maybe we can study together!" She commented excitedly, ironically Kendo was right.

I could only hope there weren't any weirdos in our Classroom

And with that hope in my mind, I went up the stairs with Kendo and we finally arrived at the intended place, after two minutes of walking through the corridors of the second floor.

Kendo stopped beside me as he watched the grandiose door to the room where we would be studying the hero course.

The door was so large that I would need to have another copy of myself on my shoulders for the height of the door to be achieved.

And in the middle of the door was a big 1-A, making it virtually impossible not to see the number.

"Well you're still here, that means we'll be studying in the same room for the next three years." Kendo spoke as he turned to me with a big smile.

"Since that's the case, why don't we introduce ourselves again? I'm Itsuka kendo, from class 1-A's hero course." She offered me a handshake after finishing talking, I stared at her for a few seconds, sighed, and decided to continue the game.

"I'm kazuhira, from the hero course in room 1-A, it's a pleasure to meet you again Kendo-san, I hope our cooperation will bear fruit in the future."

I made sure to look into kendo's eyes while giving a firm handshake, to indicate that I was serious, even if I thought something was stupid, however, I made sure to go against my thoughts and put on a resolute expression, to look serious so that she wouldn't be embarrassed.

"Are you ready? to meet our classmates?" I asked Kendo, who nodded in agreement as he fixed his hair.

I promptly opened the door with her agreement but felt silly for thinking I wouldn't have weirdos in my classroom.

A heated argument between two individuals was the first thing I noticed upon entering the room.

The second thing I noticed was diversity in the appearances of the rest of the class, was there a pink girl and an octopus man?

There was also a lot of diversity in appearance, such as hair color and even some physical mutation.

Overall, everyone seemed unique and detachable.

Especially the two who were arguing.

One of the young men was sitting with his feet on his desk while the other was beside him complaining about his behavior.

But they both stopped arguing as soon as they saw us.

In fact, they stopped as soon as they saw me, and in no time did they look away from Kendo, their gaze was locked on me.

"I'm not surprised that we're studying together, after all, it was a great show of heroism that you did on the test, by the way, my name is Tenya Lida." The boy who was standing walked over and praised me while offering a handshake.

Tenya Lida was a tall and apparently muscular person, just a little shorter than me, and had dark blue hair parted to the side, thin eyebrows that seemed to point towards the center, and red eyes with rectangular glasses adorning his face. , he gave off an aura of someone serious and strict and few friends, but he didn't seem to have bad intentions and had taken the initiative to shake my hands, so it took me only a second before I gave his hand a firm squeeze.

{Would you like to check out the information available from Tenya Lida?}

It can show system, I think it can be useful when socializing.

{Name: Tenya Lida}

{Height: 1.79}

{Weight: 82}

{Quirk: engine}

{Rank of young talents: 53rd place}

{The youngest son of the Lida family of heroes, Tenya Lida's Quirk is a family-inherited Quirk and is capable of reaching great speeds through the engines he has in his calf and through his powerful skill and intelligence, Tenya Lida was able to reach 6th place in the U.A.}

So Tenya Lida was the classic controversial example of a Quirk inherited between families, which according to theories was the result of incestuous relationships so that the Quirk would not be lost over the years, and in my view, this was a very strong theory, since that it was normal for the Quirks of the father and mother to mix together when they passed to the child, and many Quirks became useless in the process.

But this was not pertinent information to help with socialization, but the U.A. test was a good idea to use.

"My name is Kazuhira.

Thanks so much for the compliment, but I'm sure my show of strength was overshadowed by your explosive speed in the test, not least because All Might had to help me." I returned the compliment as I downplayed my feat, however, I hadn't even seen him during the test, I just stated the obvious upon learning of his Quirk.

But apparently, my comment attracted the interest of many people, as in mere seconds my surroundings were filled with a bunch of boys interested in the conversation, and looking my way, I realized that Kendo had already been kidnapped by the girls who were in a circle elsewhere in the room.

"So you're the one who held that building down! Man, that's manly! And you even met All Might!" A boy with spiky red hair commented excitedly, but I couldn't even answer him as a bunch of questions came from the others, making it impossible to process any question properly.

But I was saved by the sound of the door opening, which made everyone go quiet and simultaneously turn their heads towards the door.

In front of the door were two people who I found vaguely familiar, but I couldn't remember where I had met them.

One of the people was a cute girl.

She was a short girl with a curvy figure, fair skin, and brown hair with matching eyes. She has pink blush on her cheeks, and big round eyes, her hair is shoulder length with short bangs, and the style is cut with two long strands framing her face.

And another person was a short and thin boy with messy green hair and eyes combined with wild hair color, he had a round face with freckles on his cheeks and the most noticeable thing was his big round eyes that gave him an innocent look.

And the nervousness was stamped on his face, probably due to the whole class's gaze being focused in his direction, but he had no way of knowing that our gaze wasn't in his direction, everyone was focused on what was behind the two people.

A corpse wrapped in a sleeping bag.

Or so it would have looked if not for the face sticking out of the bag.

His face belonged to a male figure, he was so pale that he resembled a dead man.

His hair was black and shaggy and fell over part of his face and his beard was just like his hair, totally disheveled.

The eyes were the only thing that didn't make him look like a corpse, he had eyes the same color as his hair and his dark circles were deep and his eyes were half open and I think that seemed to be his usual style.

The man took a bag with a straw out of the bag and started drinking as if it were a perfectly normal day.

The two people only noticed the man behind them when he sucked up the contents of the package with just one drag.

And they made the same face of confusion as the other students.

"Hmm, 12 seconds is how long it took you all to notice my presence, you lack insight children." The man spoke as he got up and unzipped his sleeping bag, exposing to everyone that he was a human and not some kind of walking corpse.

He had a slim build and wore a black baggy outfit consisting of a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants tucked into his boots. He also carried a utility belt around his waist and a white scarf wrapped around his neck.

Although the scarf looked normal I was sure it wasn't, I zoomed in slightly and could verify that I was right.

the scarf was made of steel alloy woven with carbon nanofibers.

This composition made the scarf flexible and at the same time rigid, as it would compress when suffering from the use of kinetic energy.

This man wasn't some random bum, he had a gun wrapped around his neck, a very dangerous weapon to wield without prior experience.

"He must be a hero, right?" The green-haired boy muttered to himself and I couldn't help but agree with his doubt, it was impossible for this man to be less than a hero.

But I wasn't the only one to hear the young man's murmur, because I could see the man's gaze move lightly and quickly towards the young man with wild green hair and a microexpression of a smile appeared on his face, but disappeared anyway. But disappear at the same speed that appeared, therefore reverting to what appeared to be his usual expression, apathy.

"I'm Shouta Aizawa, I'm the teacher in charge of this class, it's a pleasure to meet you." The professor introduced himself with apathy in his face and voice.

I looked to the side and saw the surprise on everyone's faces, I think I would have had the same reaction if I hadn't noticed the detail of the scarf, because he didn't have the appearance or the physique of a hero.

He rummaged through the sleeping bag and pulled out a suit from inside the bag, in my opinion, that was something unsanitary.

He balled the suit up into a ball and to my surprise he hurled it... towards me.

Despite the surprise, I managed to catch the thrown suit with relative ease, after all, it wasn't thrown with enough force and speed to not be caught, but that didn't stop me from being surprised.

"Go to the locker rooms and put this on and then follow me to the gym field." Professor Aizawa spoke as he distributed the costume to the rest of the room.
