In the days that followed, they tried to be as normal as they can even if Josephine's death remained unsolved. There were no traces of the perpetrator responsible for her demise or, at the very least, the individual who attempted to assist her in ending her own life.

The perpetrator seemed to have vanished into thin air, leaving no trace behind, and they were completely clueless about the true mastermind behind it all. As promised, Welsh's lawyers managed to reduce the charges against Kevin, resulting in a shorter sentence for him compared to Alex.

As part of the agreement, Kevin did cooperate with Rei and Henry's lawyers in their efforts to investigate the mastermind. Although he doesn't know the identity of this person, Kevin had encountered certain experiences during his time with Josephine that strongly suggest the existence of such a person.
