I am not happy with the story at all. FL is a brilliant career woman behaving like a doormat. ML is torturing her and all others look down on her. Such stories should be avoided please
After reading synopsis I'm giving up this to read in future . Don't tell me he is the male lead. Its purely utterly boring. Its torture to read ml disgusting love for his first love.
I'm not even sure why WN are adding this to the trial read if all the reviews are bad., there are better ones that should be here. it's a waste of coins to be reading these types of novels.
Every time there is a divorce based novel the first thing I want to know is the original husband the ml because if so 9/10 I don’t want to bother with it. In the 1/10 I’ll read it if the reason for divorce is a clear matter of circumstances (for instance a long distance relationship that previously fell apart and now they live near each other and want to rekindle things or a spy chooses to abandon his family to protect them and now they are back and want to mend things). If they divorced because one person treated the other badly it’s not worth it. (Maybe there can be an exception if their was a mental health disorder invovled like PTSD and the sick person didn’t anything too irredeemable and when the relationship resumes the sick party has already undergone treatment and is on the way to being healed.)
It's been a long time since I read this old fashioned plot line so I gave it a go but my opinion still remains the same that the MLs in these tropes should be chucked into outer space to prevent pollution on earth.

This type of plot/story should be thrown in the trash. The ML is an abusive a** and FL is a doormat. The toxicity in this is off the charts. Is it too much to ask to have an ML and FL that have - or better yet BUILD - a healthy relationship?!

Love these types of books. It’s good soap opera drama. There are plenty of other books released. If this isn’t your cup of tea move along instead of crushing other people’s joy.

Last week, we discovered a Gem of an FL that divorced her trash husband and looks to have a different ml.. this week, webnovel brought back this trash troupe where the FL seemingly has Stockholm syndrome and decides to stay with her dumpster fire of a husband and trash family. i absolutely hate these type of MLs just what do they think they are and just why is it that the FLs come back to them just cause they feel that they have already suffered it's annoying ......if the FLs have changed personalitys and the ML falls for second personality it's alright cause according to that they even seem like different people but if he only chases her just cause she is 'different' it is the worst
