Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Raven remembered everything. All that had happened since her birth, as well as what was before, mainly, her past life. In her past life, she was a woman living a miserable life.
From a young age, she was forced to live on her own. This came from the birth of her brother. She had to quit school at the age of fourteen, and from then on lived on the streets. Needing money, she had ended up having to sell her body on the daily just for the bare necessities. This of course had a bad impact on her young mind, to which she ended up depressed and broken inside.
Her only saving grace came in the form of books, more precisely, the Harry Potter books. The world of magic and freedom just felt right in her mind. A world where you can travel almost anywhere with just a spell, where you can see magical beasts almost anywhere you go, to cast spells that can levitate things or even burn your enemies. It just felt like she was born in the wrong world each time she thought about it.
As time went on, she just fell deeper and deeper into her depression. While she didnt realize it, the books that she revered like the holy bible didnt help her in that regard. The continuous thoughts about this other world always made her feel more and more miserable.
When she reached the age of twenty-three it had been about nine years since her time away from home started. It all just became worse by the day, both as a human but also in her surroundings. A war had started on the streets by that time. Crime skyrocketed, shootings on the daily, and almost no clients for the prostitutes. This also made her quality of life plummet to the ground. It was bad to begin with, but with no clients, there was no money, no money means no food, and no food meant starving yourself to save that one last piece of moldy loaf.
However, life dont always go to your expectations. One day or another you have to make a run for supplies. That day however also seemed to be the one day she should have stayed at home. Without her noticing, the fighting had increased in intensity during the previous couple of weeks she had been in hiding. This also came as her downfall as she was hit by a stray bullet while rushing to get food. No one noticed the unaffiliated casualty while she was bleeding out and finally passing away. Unknown to her, her body would only first be discovered nearly three weeks later by a passing police officer working on re-stabilizing the neighborhood after the war ended.

After all the pain she went through, she finally felt peace, or rather, she didnt feel the constant pain that had been her life for nearly a decade. There was nothing. Opening her eyes she saw that she was currently in what she could only describe as a dark abyss. No light and no colors, hel, she only knew she existed in this space because she felt her thoughts contained within a body and not floating aimlessly in the dark space that surrounded her.
She didnt know how long she spent in that isolated space with no one but herself to talk with, well talk with would be an exaggeration, she couldnt speak after all, so would the right term be think to? No matter. She spent what felt like years alone and afraid. She wasnt afraid of the place she had found herself in, she was afraid of what would happen with her, or more precisely, when something would happen.
When she started to feel like giving up, she heard a loud, booming voice coming from no where and everywhere at the same time. It surrounded her form as if it came from all sides at the same time. It spoke:
"You lived a shitty life! Because of your untimely death, you never got to experience all that life had to offer, therefore, you shall gain a second chance in a different life. You will live a hard life once again, however, this time in a world that you yourself choose. So now, choose!" It said while sounding a bit haughty and impatient.
She knew that the voice wasnt lying to her. Not because he sounded high and mighty, but because she had built her own kind of senses. She could for the most part feel when someone would lie to her, the voice didnt.
"If I am able to choose any world, then please, please send me to the world of Harry potter." She pleaded for the voice to hear her pleas for a life in the world that gave her sanctuary from the hell that was her daily occurance.
"Granted... Now you will choose three wishes to bring with you. Mind you that some of the wishes will have some requirements to fulfill before getting them. Now, CHOOSE!" It once again sounded impatient, though this time a bit more than before.
She spent a few minutes racking her brain for any kind of wishes before it finally hit her. She could just ask for wishes that had multiple effects.
"Okay, I`m ready." She spoke.
"Then speak!"
"First off, I want a powerful lineage."
"Granted!"
"Next I want one of the most powerful wands, almost on par with the elder wand."
"Granted, but with the condition that you locate it!"
"Okay then. Finally I want a perfect memory."
"Granted! Your appearence will be changed when you enter this new world. It has been randomized and landed on what you mortals call an anime character. You will from now on look like one Hatori Chise from the anime The ancient magus bride."
"The ancient magus bride? I havent seen that one since I was a kid." She said enthusiastically.
"With this, we are now finished. Prepare yourself to be reborn."
"Wait, prepare how-" Before she could finish asking how to prepare herself, she was already sent off to once again walk among the living.

When I opened my eyes once again, the light nearly blinded me. I looked up to what could only be described as the usual ceiling, however, the lights seem to be on their most powerful setting seeing as I was blinded nearly instantly.
I spent quite a bit of time just looking around. I had found out however about why the voice told me to prepare myself, I couldnt for the life of me hold my bladder in what I could only think was my newborn body. Despite how humiliating it was to not be able to go to the restroom, I still found it hard to believe that I was in the world of magic that I normally could only fantasize about. I had yet to find out wether it was true or not considering that I had been on my own for the last couple of hours if my internal clock was anything to go from.
Before I could think about it more, the door into the room opened, and in stepped two people that I never thought I would meet.
The first one was a woman that looked to be in her early twenties. She had red hair and green eyes.
The next was a man about the same age as the woman. He had black hair and hazel eyes.
They were James and Lily Potter, my new parents......
