Chapter 21: The Fight Game

"Can we summon my maid to bring at least comfortable clothes?" she asked. "I remember you saying, I am fiercer when naked," the king said, raising his brow at her. "Yes, but I am not your enemy; you can't fight me naked," she explained.

"All right, kaesha," he said, "summon your maid to bring you clothes." The king rang a bell, and then there was a tap on the door. "Tell the maid of my mate to bring her sword fighting garments, and tell the royal headmaster to bring mine," he said. 

Lilet arrived a few minutes later with her fight suit and weapon. Because the microchips were implanted in her spinal cord and are linked to her brain, she can summon her weapon at any time. But, of course, she can't right now.

"What are those clothes?" the scowling king inquired.

"Why?" she asked, looking down at her attire.
