Chapter 46: EP 44 - TRUTH OR DARE?
The five persons shuffled themselves across the roads that cold , early , morning. They arrived at the docks in record time and saw a huge ship waiting for them that had been sent from the Northern Lights. Written on the side of the ship in great big letters was 'THE CAVALIER '.
The ship was beautiful , made of strong oak wood and then lined with a golden yellow and large white sails . The adventurers got on board hearing various voices chattering .
" Pull up the anchor!"
"Tie the mast !"
" Hoist the sails!"
They progressed through all the ruckus and then they where taken to meet with the captain.
He was a sturdy man of One and fifty years of age. Yet , he was still nimble and quick on his feet though one of his feet was missing and in its place was a shapened piece of wood.
"What is this? Treasure Island ?" John widened his eyes.
A hook was where his left hand used to be as he heaved himself towards them with difficulty.' He must have been through a lot's Percival thought . His once dark hair was now gray as he...
"An Eye patch. Every pirate needs an Eye patch!" Su ling said with a pen in her mouth.
"But he's the captain of the ship. He neither plunder nor steals." Eva corrected.
"A pirate had a ship, he has a ship . He had a hook for a hand and a wooden leg so all that remains is an Eye patch. Just give him the Eye patch and complete the picture." Su ling maintained.
"Alright then..." Eva stared at Su ling.
"Lets settle this!"
Eva took the die , shook it furiously and rolled.

She sneered at Su ling.
Su ling took a deep breaths and tossed.

John who was busy chatting on his phone and not paying attention was dazzled. There had never been a tie before!!!!!

Su ling retrieved the die from her and with hands shaking she rolled.

Su ling celebrated while Sky heaved a sigh . Eva smiled and proceeded with the story,
Eva sighed and gave in and Su ling rested her case.
He had an Eye patch over his right eye and extended his hand for a shake.
"Ewwww ... I'm not shaking that hand! I don't know where Its been!" Obi exclaimed .
Levi shook his hand in respect and the man proceeded to tell them all about the ship.
"For thirty good years , I've manned this ship. Working my way up from being the ship's boy to this man standing up here today...." He started.
"Laaaame !!!!!" Avyanna rolled her eyes and Kyra pinched her arm.
"Owwwww !"
After a very long and detailed explanation about his life, that none of them asked for , they were shown their cabins and he departed from them .
Levi rested on the deck , feeling the great ocean breeze as it blew through his hair. Percival stood by him, his a hand on his abdomen and head bent. Levi didn't trust him one bit! He knew something was up with him but he had no idea what...
Yet!
And once he did...

The ocean was calm and their was no sign of an upcoming storm. They all sat down playing cards and gambling in the process and eventually that got boring.
Suddenly the ship swerved violently and tossed them around for a while. After it subsided , Percival stood up and rushed towards the deck and vomited overboard.
The vertigo had already kicked in.
my God...
He hated the sea.
Percival then seated himself uneasily between Avyanna and Kyra . Holding his cross , he rattled off some prayers and bowed his head.
"I'm bored!!!!!!!!!!!" Avyanna exclaimed dramatically.
"I am too but you don't see me nagging about it ." Levi replied but Avyanna ignored him. These days, Levi had been acting harshly towards her at any chance he had , mostly whenever he saw her talking or smiling with the Paladin.
"We could play Truth or Dare or whatever?" Conrad said nonchalantly.
"What's that?" Levi asked with sarcasm in his voice.
"Well , it's a game that allows numerous players to participate in a series of questions ..." Conrad proceeded to explain. Avyanna stopped him.
"He knows what truth and Dare is. Don't oblige him." Levi smiled mischievously.
With that they all sat in a circle .Eva then set the rules for the game they were about to play. The highest roll would get to ask the questions while the lowest score would have to answer . She held the die and rolled.

Levi went first and directed his question to Percival who now had his head up.
"Truth or Dare?"
"I always abide by the truth." Percival answered.
"Well then, Truth-teller ..." Levi snarled "What is your true agenda for being here?!
Avyanna cut in. "Percival you don't have to answer..."
"But he does. Isn't that the rule of the game?" Levi spoke calmly.
Percival sighed. "I'm here because I was invited, nothing more." He answered.
"Why should we believe you?" Levi shot back again but Percival wagged his finger. "Now that's another question."
Levi scoffed and lay back. "Why do you always have to be an ass?" Avyanna asked but he didn't reply.

"Why is it me that you're always asking questions?!" Sky queried.
"It's not us . It's the die that decides your fate." Obi said in a sort of all-Holy way and Sky laughed.
It was now Conrad's to give his questionnaire. As usual, Percival chose truth "How many girls have you nailed , Percival?"
Eva ,who was daintily sipping some soda suddenly choked and splurted it all out.
Kyra shifted closer to him.She was itching to hear this.
Percival's face turned red. "Can I skip the question ?! "He muttered.
"Sorry dude but rules are rules. " Avyanna shrugged.
"Um...I...I..." The Paladin stuttered. Conrad patted his back."Seems your in a hard spot, Aren't you ? So I'll let it pass." He smiled evily. Percival gave a sigh of relief .
They all rolled again.
Su ling rolled and got '4' while Eva was rewarded with '1'
Kyra thought for a while before coming up with a good one as Avyanna chose truth.
"Kill , nail , Marry; Levi, Conrad , Percival ?
Levi who rested in a corner with his coat over his eyes was now suddenly attentive. He wondered what Avyanna would say to get herself out of it.
"None of them. But I would definitely kill Levi." Avyanna said simply without hesitating.
"Girl, you don't know what you're missing ." Levi smirked handsomely .
"I'm pretty sure not much." Avyanna patted his trousers.
Now it was Obi's turn.
Obi smiled to himself.
Time to cause some trouble .
"Truth or Dare?"
"Dare." Avyanna said at once.
"I Dare you ..." Conrad said , looking around from person to person "To kiss Percival on the lips ."
Su ling gave Obi a high five while John scowled at him.
Now this was interesting !!!!
Avyanna took a deep breath . She turned to face Percival and they locked lips.
From the corner of her eye , Avyanna saw Levi. Though he hid it well , Avyanna knew him better than that and right now she was seeing he looked pained .
She kept her mouth in place feeling a warm feeling as his soft lips was pressed against hers , enjoying the sensation.
"Alright. You can stop now." Conrad ordered but they didn't stop. Instead Avyanna wrapped her hands around his neck and pushed his head even closer and Percival made no move to break away.
"It's okay, Priest you can back off now." Levi said it this time.
"Guys , we get it !!!! You're kissing . Everyone's done that so can we move on?!" John said impatiently. Sky and Eva giggled and Finally Avyanna broke the kiss with Percival and shot her a cute smile.
"Lets move past that to the next stage."Eva said lightly . "Now I'm going to be asking each and every one of you..."
They were AII on the edge of their seat.
"When was your first time ?"
"What do you mean?" Sky asked innocently.
John grinned knowingly as Eva spoke again "Don't worry . You'll soon find out "
