Chapter 58: EP 56 - SNOOPING AROUND.
Avyanna stealthily jumped out of the window and landed on the roof directly beneath her. She slowly edged her way across as She set her sights up in the highest tower.
That was were Erylis resided.
She had Percival make a a rough sketch of the palace grounds while Kyra was to Check out every doorway and Conrad to take note of every secret passage way. Levi was to intimate himself with some of the servants and maiden to gain more information about the Kingdom and its monsters.though Levi did opt for that.
Kyra had earlier left the banquet to keep exploring the Caste , yawning in order not to arouse suspicion.
During the day , Percival had gone under the guise of having a walk and Kyra explored the castle. At the banquet , He had slipped the Paper into her hands and held it.
"Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
She nodded and slipped into her pocket.
But let's be real...
Avyanna had no idea what the hell she was doing...
But with her , one of the major rules was...
Never venture into an uncharted territory without a Backup plan.
Everything was just too normal.
Any ordinary Queen would have freaked if A giant monster was ravaging their Kingdom and would be desperate for them to deal with it immediately.
But Erylis seemed calm and at ease with it all. Hosting a banquet in their Honour even without defeating yet what or whoever is killing her subjects. when she should be bothered about the next attack. looks like she is intentionally trying to distract them.
She definitely had something up her sleeves.
Avyanna Pressed herself against the cobblestone wall as one of the bricks fell loose and smashed into pieces to the ground 70 feet below.
"Don't look down. You've Slayed demons and dragons. You've got this Avyanna. " She muttered words of encouragement to herself.
The next door leading up to the Tower was a few feet away. Avyanna crept towards it in order to avoid being spotted by the Tower guards.
But again another obstacle faced her.
There was a huge berth between her and her goal and Avyanna had to come face to face with death if she'd ever wanted to attempt that jump. She could have used her levitated spell that takes much energy but she wanted to conserve her strength as she had not fully recovered from the Scylla attack.
Eva rubbed her hands together and tossed the die.

Avyanna took in a deep breath.
"Leap of Faith...Leap of Faith...
She ran and made a huge jump and got on to the other side.But unfortunately the bricks began crumbling underneath her and gave way.
The guards at the towers were startled by the sudden sound.
Two ran to the scene and saw the bricks on the ground. He raised his torch to get a glimpse of the roof.
Avyanna held her breath .
One false move and it was game over.
Another guard came along and ordered the first man to his post. "It was probably rats." He jested.
Avyanna was relieved. The masking spell had worked. She stumbled on to the roof and Clutched her head. She hasn't had enough rest and now the effects where taking its toll.
She was about scurry up a window leading to the tower when she decided to take a little peek.
It couldn't hurt.
Some hours later Avyanna would wish she could undo what she was about to see. She could never imagined what she was about to ascertain.
At first Avyanna didn't recognize the two but once she caught a glance of that Shimmering white hair , She instantly knew.
It was another servant girl that was on top of him this time, Sobbing out his name their limbs tangled as they were slick with sweat, after what was certainly hours of rolling in the hay.

They were going to have a serious talk about bedding suspects.
Finally she had reached the Queens tower. Avyanna climbed into the balcony in order to eavesdrop on Her.
Erylis was pacing about her Chambers anxiously. She seemed intensely worried.
Her room was in disarray as Various personal items of hers were flung around the room. She babbled on with the only words Avyanna could make out where "No...No...No".
Erylis moved towards her balcony and gaze up at the moon that was peeping behind the clouds . In a few minutes it would shine down on the earth in all of its glory . "Damn you!" Erylis cursed the queen of the night. "Why me??!!". She went back into her Chambers and paced around.
For a moment , Avyanna thought Erylis had lost it.
She had just wasted moments of precious sleep to snoop around and ended up with nothing. Avyanna sighed and was about to leave when something in her told her to check on Erylis once more.
She glanced into the room and to her surprise ...
Erylis had disappeared.
The bells rang to warn of impending danger as the entire Castle doused awake.The guards panicked and rushed into action and began the necessary preparations.
The monster was back .
Avyanna opened the door and began running down the empty hallway . Clutching tightly to her sword...
