Chapter 2: Chapter One New York

Well here we are our new home dad said what floor is our apartment, my sister Susan said it's on the 2nd floor let's take a peek, shall we? The building number is 1213 at West Farms Rd near a train station noticing how big this building was it probably has about 7 floors when I went inside the building there was this strange man staring at me with an angry look like I did something to him. But it's NY they are a lot of crazy people we were on the 2nd-floor approaching apartment door 2a my father got the keys out and opened the door. When I went into the apartment it was big all the way to my left was the kitchen to my right was a hallway leading to other rooms but in front of me was a big living room space. Okay, kiddos go to your own rooms and put down your stuff I'm going to be heading out and looking around the neighborhood I pick my two bags up and head to my room which looked pretty big. I feel this sense of uncertainty moving here in NY felt like staying back in Arizona with that beautiful tropical weather but my dad got a job here as a college professor sometimes I think he likes to do what's best for him and not the family. He never discussed this moving with my mother he never discusses anything with her when it comes to future plans. Zeus and his family headed back outside and took a tour around the neighborhood lots of car traffic, people walking by, and children heading to school. Hey, honey let's head to the grocery store to buy some food for the apartment said mom, okay there's one across the street from us which is good we don't have to walk far to get food replied dad. As we cross the street and headed into the grocery store there were a lot of people shopping back in Arizona we didn't really see many people shopping early in the morning like this. I would always go buy my favorite almond milk, Apple cinnamon cereal, and veggie burgers but I know we now live in a different state. Some states have high populations like NY alright Zeus and Susan go get what you want while I and your mother go get a shopping cart I went to the cereal aisle to see if they had my favorite cereal which they did. Then I went to get almond milk and my veggie burger I put my stuff in a bag until my father gets the shopping cart my last item on the list was bread. I went to the bread section and felt a weird feeling it was like an energetic pulse flowing in my body it stopped when I looked at a girl with blue hair, and dark skin, wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans. She looked beautiful it's weird that I said that never was the romantic type she looked at me while picking up some bread she stared at me and I stared back and felt love staring at this girl. She smiled and then walked away why did I feel a connection to this girl and what was I feeling? We bought all that we need then headed back to our apartment I went to my room and noticed a big bed in front of me and a dresser. I decided not to pay no mind to it hey kiddo what up dad well I want to tell you that next week it will be good to check out some schools for you. I hate school dad I know you do but it would be good to get you out of the apartment and I'm allowing you to choose the school. Wait your serious, yes I'm serious it's once in a lifetime kiddo alright we talk about it next week alright enjoy the bed that I got you today I definitely will thanks, dad. I don't know how he got this furniture so fast but all I know things are going to get strange.
