Chapter 11: False partner in crime
After Limping with Her sprained ankle Evi opened the door and sat on the floor While touching her Bandaged leg.
"Ghh..!! Tch, now it hurts even more." She closed her eyes to calm her mind.
"What's wrong with shin today? Was he not in a good mood?" Her thoughts got interrupted by the pain in her leg.
"I'm gonna rest a little this hurts!"

"You will live once again!! And take your place back, My dear! Reclaim what belongs to you, the Tanzanite. He will come after you,"
The soothing voice of that blond woman again, saying these words with her bloodstained body as she fell on the ground. Her sweet voice is so mesmerizing yet painful.
Evi felt her chest getting squeezed from the inside.
"NO DON'T..!!!!" Evi woke up with a scream. She felt her cheeks getting wet as Everything seemed blurry around her.
"W-what is this!? Why am...I crying? Why do I feel so bad? What is this dream?! Evi hugged her knees and buried her face between them.
"Why am I feeling like this about something I don't know!?" She questioned herself.
After a While, she heard Her dad's footsteps!
"Oh! Dad, you're home!"
"What happened to your feet dear? Are you ok?" Grison rushed to her.
"I Just sprained my ankle a bit, it's fine, Shin... treated it," Evi said while staring at her feet.
"You should see a doctor. Dear, You look pale. Are you feeling ok?" Grison placed his hand on Evi's forehead to check if she has a fever.
"I'm fine, dad! What about your work? How'd it go?" Evi said while walking towards the sofa.
"....All good! I'll go cook dinner then."
"There's food in the fridge you don't have to. Just take some rest."(Evi)
"Are you really ok dear? If anything is bothering you make sure to tell dad ok?"(Grison)
"Of course" Evi smiled.
"I have some work to do, I'll go to my room then!"
She thought about krey once again While flipping her note pages, under her lamp. Suddenly She felt a breath containing a deep sweet voice in her ear "What're you up to?"
Evi Flinched and jumped away from the chair with a defensive look.
"Hey calm down! Are you a cat?"(krey)
"You???? Why do You sneak up on me every time? That scared me!" She said while fixing her composure.
"Every time?"
"What?" Evi said with confusion while she saw krey getting closer.
"I swear if you do anything again I'll kick your balls!" She held out her fists.
Krey took his helmet off.
"Hey wait! Your eyes!" Evi's question got interrupted when Krey took her hand, "Come with me on the rooftop I need to show you something."
"Umm.....ok?"
Krey picked her up in his arms and jumped out of the window. "Hey put me down I can go up there with my own feet!!" Evi struggled from embarrassment.
"Your feet are injured. How do you manage to get hurt within a minute?" Krey said While putting her down on the roof.
"Do your eyes Change Colour?" (Evi)
"Huh?...No"(krey)
"They were bright red every time I saw them but they're crimson red today. How? I'm not Colourblind." Evi said while staring him in the eye.
"....I'm surprised you notice every single detail of me like that," Krey smirked!
"D-don't get any Wrong idea You cowshit!!" Evi blushed!
Krey suddenly Turned towards Evi "Hey you want to find out about your dreams, don't you? Then bear with it a little"
"What do y-" Before she could finish Krey grabbed both of her arms and placed his lips on hers,
"Mhmm" Evi tried to push him away but Krey won't budge. She could feel His tongue slipping inside as she felt like getting hit by electricity in her head.
A forest with broken trees, that seemed like an ambush happened. The blonde woman laying on the ground with her lifeless body. She could feel a cold bloody hand grabbing her as she caught the sight of a boy with silver hair screaming and crying in front of her while clinching his chest with both of his hands swearing about something. He suddenly looked at her screaming I will save you at all costs. That boy's crimson eyes shot her back to reality.
"Huff huff!! Y-you you were there," Evi said with teary eyes while grabbing krey by his collar.
"Please tell me, what do you know about me?? Who are you??" Evi looked at him with teary eyes and a hopeful look.
Krey wanted to touch her cheeks and comfort her but he withdrew his hand, clenching his fists.
"I....myself don't know. I'm sorry!" He looked away.
".....You're useless at the end!" Evi looked at the sky as she sat down while wiping her face.
"At first I thought these are nightmares but now I see, they're part of my memories. Then why don't dad tell me anything? Is he keeping something secret from me?" (Evi)
"I think he is. It really was fate that we met don't you think?" Krey's voice lingered in her ear as she looked at his smiling face and moving silver hair.
"Yeah!! You really do look like him. That alcoh- That detective!" Evi got up.
"What detective??!!" Krey said with confusion while his smile faded away.
"The one that solved your murder ca-" Her line got interrupted by her dad's Calling. " Evi, Come have dinner!"
"Your dad's a real third wheel you know?" Krey said while putting on his helmet. He carried her into the room through the window. "Then.....see you later!" He left in a blink of an eye.
Evi opened the door and got down to eat even though she doesn't have the appetite.
"I Cooked porridge for you. It'll make you feel better" Grison pulled out the chair for her.
"....Thanks, dad." His phone started ringing all of a sudden.
"Yes?..... Ahhh I see I see. it's fine! Good work!" Grison looked a bit disappointed when he hung up.
"What's wrong dad? You don't normally get a call this time." "Well...Krey has a new partner, we suppose. Some people saw him carrying a woman towards the woods! It didn't look like a kidnap since that woman was holding him. So we're trying to find out about her."
"Huh? when did this happen?" Evi turned to her dad thinking the worst.
"2 days ago."
Evi spilt water from her mouth and started coughing.
"They're not talking about me, are they? His what now?! I'm doomed! " Evi squealed in her mind.
"C'mon!! krey Carried me that day while I fainted and he never goes near any human. IT IS ME!!!!!"
