The sight of Ethan set off alarm in Iris's head, she felt the world shattered as she couldn't think straight. She looked around to see a glimpse of Cane, since he knew what to do and his presence could calm her down, but he was not here. 

Aliana finally broke down crying, she kept calling Ethan's name, as the fear overwhelmed her. This was the first time for a very long time for Jace to witness how his sister was having a mental breakdown, since she lost her baby and her mate. 

Aliana was inconsolable and Jace tried to get her out of the tent, but she insisted to stay. She didn't want to be away from Ethan, as she kept holding his hand, talking incoherently.
