When Tony heard Jack talk about palladium poisoning it finally changed the expression on his face, this poisoning could only be discovered by some kind of genius.
After all, someone would have to know how the arc reactor in his chest is created, and that palladium can poison someone who wears it near their heart, so Tony believed that Jack really knew he was Iron Man.

"Do you have a way to heal me? Hahaha, this is great, I had already prepared my will and was ready to tell everyone that I would die soon." Said Tony laughing and then crying.
Tony didn't fully trust Jack, but it was a hope brought by a hero like him when Tony had lost all hope and was prepared to die, even though it was a lie he wanted to believe.
"I can't completely cure you, but with my help, it won't be a problem for you to live another 30 years if you continue to drink that chlorophyll juice, but when you get better, we have to create a way for you to get that poison out of your system. your chest."

Jack opened the bag he had brought with him and took out a disposable scalpel from a sterilized bag, Tony was scared seeing the scalpel, but he knew he would have to trust Jack if he wanted to live, so he just waited.
