Chapter 2: Class Selection And Skills.
I wake up steadily, looking around the room skeptically making sure my new parents are fully gone, and so after confirming they are gone I sit up.. or at least I try to sit up before I fall back in complete and utter failure.
' This body isn't reliable at all, I guess I'm fresh out of the womb. ' I then sigh and look around again and decide to try something, and so while thinking of the word ' System ' a blue transparent screen appears above my head, I read the text slowly and surely.

A sword, heavy armor and shield class, sacrificing speed in favor of defense, support and offense, wearing bigger heavier armor.

A more offensively based class, the Brute trades the Knight's emphasis on defense and support for offensive brute power.

A class that focuses on light or no armor at all and prefers agility, cunning daring and technical skill to sheer force.
' Templar '
A fighter class with light offensive magic and healing magic, and also defensive buff for allies, mostly based on support.

I look through the classes until a certain class catches my eye, it's something called the ' Vampiric Tank ' I read through the class and nod my head, making a decision and choosing that class for now, not like it was that big of a deal because I could always reselect classes later, and so once I select my class a new thing called a ' Status ' opens up;

Influences luck, if your luck is high enough it can even alter causality.

*5 Free attributes per level and 1 skill point per level, can train attributes for stats, the lower the stat the easier to train, cannot train for more skill points, able to freely redistribute all stat points and skill points, skill points are used for leveling up skills*

Taunt [ Level 1 ]
Makes enemies enraged for a short period of time and makes them rush towards you, people with strong mental defense are immune, upgrade skill to bypass.
Blood Zone [ Level 1 ]
Deals periodic damage if enemy is in zone, upgrade zone size and attack power by leveling up the zone, bypasses defense and weakens enemy, heals 50% of the damage you deal to enemies.
Self Healing ( Passive ) [ Level 1 ]
Heal yourself automatically, upgrade healing speed by leveling up the skill, doesn't cost mp.
Blood Magic [ Level 1 ]
Magic made from blood, you don't need to have existing blood to use, but lessens MP use if you already have blood to use, level up to use more intricate magic.
Damage Reduction ( Passive ) [ Level 1 ]
10% damage reduction, upgrade damage reduction by leveling up the skill, doesn't cost mp.

' Well that was a kind of lot to take in.. but I guess I more of less get the point now, well that's interesting I guess this is going to be a lot more fun than expected.. ' I smirk inwardly and try to sit up again and fall back down, I keep trying before finally giving in and deciding to use my ultimate technique.. crying!
I cry as loudly as humanly possible, alerting my new parents and so they rush into the room, he could tell they were extremely worried by their faces, they frantically talked about something and picked him up.
I still can't understand what they are saying yet so I just watch them interact, and so a few hours later I am shame fully forced to eat baby food for dinner, which actually tasted quite good and so I fell asleep.

Said boring life continues until 10 months later, I am now able to walk around and I even sometimes escape out of my crib to read some of the books around the house.
Learning where I am after reading a little, an advanced modern world filled with superpowers the name of the world is Dendromo, I also as you can tell learned how to read and can now fully understand the language of the people of Demdromo, yet I'm not quite able speak it yet.
One day I decide to perform another crib escape, carefully crawling down from the crib and making sure no one is around, I walk towards the fully opened door, hearing a loud creak to my left I turn seeing his new mother, I react as quickly as possible and fall over, crying.
" Wha- Kazuko how did you get out of your crib! " My new mother rushes over to me with a worried voice and picks me up, trying to calm down my fake tears, but to no avail, as they won't stop falling unless I want them to and then my dad also comes out too.
I suppose they assumed the worst and were in full worry mode.
" Honey what happened!? " My new father asks.
" I-I don't know, I just saw him out of his crib and he fell and started crying. " My new mother explains in a panic.
And so after that day the defenses on my crib were tripled, crib walls raised, cameras installed and more.. like a max security baby prison, ahem well maybe max is a little much. And so I could no longer escape freely and had to sit in my crib night by night, bored.
And that is how we arrive to today, it is now three years later, I am now a toddler and it's almost my fourth birthday.
