Chapter 128: Who To Trust?

After Anon and Rin left I found myself listless. I don't want to sit in this bed anymore. I know I still have a lot of recovering to do but this isn't the right time for this. I have so much to catch up on. I don't even know where to start. 

-Knock- -Knock-

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Kista says as he pokes his head in the door. 

"I'm alright. I'm ready to get out of the hospital." I say with a smile. 

Kista laughs and sits next to me on the bed. 

"Don't rush. Take all the time you need." Kista says as he pats my head. 

Geez, I'm not a kid. 

"I can't just leave my work sitting there forever, now can I?" I say.

Kista remains silent. Why is he acting this way suddenly?

"I'm sorry Jay but I have appointed someone else as the Royal Treasurer. I couldn't wait. I need someone to fill the position. I hope you understand." Kista says bluntly.
