Chapter 113: 59. The Wandering Cultivator

Everett and Yongliang walked down the trail to the bamboo forest, looking around in wonder at the bamboo stalks all around them. They didn't notice the young man trailing behind them until they had stopped so Everett could get a picture. As Yongliang was getting the picture, the young man didn't go around them like the rest of the other tourists, causing Yongliang to frown and lower his camera.

"Can I help you?" Yongliang asked him, with suspicion in his tone. He stepped closer to Everett in a protective manner.

"I," the boy said, looking back and forth between them. After closer inspection, Yongliang realized that he was Chinese. "I could feel your Qi from a mile away."

"Our Qi?" Yongliang asked, his eyes widening. He glanced at Everett, biting his own lip slightly. "You're a cultivator?"

"Yes," the boy said, nodding his head. "And I'm guessing you are too? I mean with someone as powerful as you…"
