{On a random island populated by mortals, somewhere in the eastern see}
"Stop speaking Chinese, ****! Speak English!" ~ E666 was slowly losing his grip on reality with all these Mandarin-speaking natives. ~ [This is another world, so how the **** do they know Chinese?]
He was first found adrift at the beach, but when he woke up, instead of getting an explanation of where he was, he instead heard them speaking Mandarin.
After a short while, everyone in the town had collectively labeled him as a madman, but it wasn't all bad, after being here for only one month he quickly became part of the village, and even learned to speak Mandarin, albeit a bit crudely.
On his hip is a belt full of different tools, a cleaver, a pan, a spatula, just your average cooking things.
"'Bing Chilling', I want a box of fish and a cup of salt."
The owner of the shop tilted his head. ~ "I couldn't quite get that first part."
"I didn't either!" ~ He then started to laugh.
The other person also started to laugh, but that is just because the situation is too awkward.
E666 rubbed the back of his head ~ [I've been in that loony bin they call a lab for so long, that my mind has deteriorated] ~ He then took out pieces of primeval stones and paid for a box of fish.
Holding the box in one arm, he turned around and started to walk to his new house, which he got as payment for the amazing food he could make.
While walking down a sand road, he noticed something springing out of the ground, moving faster than a ball hurled by a skilled pitcher. Instantly he let go of his box, unhooked a cleaver from his belt, deflecting it, then caught it with his other hand.
He then took a look at the thing, "A bug? One blue spearfish, 5 drops of pure water, and 7 sea shells" ~ He paused for a moment. ~ "Why does a bug have a recipe!?"
A nearby Gu master came out of an ally way, ~ [How did he react in time? He was just supposed to be a madman that got lucky by making food for a rich gu master's wedding.] ~ He then sighed. ~ "Oh, you caught it! Thank goodness I've been looking everywhere for that!" ~ He kept walking closer and closer till he was close enough to use his other Gu. ~ "Now hand it over!" ~ A beetle-like Gu rose on his wrist, after feeding it some energy it started to grow a long pair of wings, and before 666 could say anything it launched itself at him.
666 quickly pulled out a frying pan, slapping it with full force, putting a heavy dent in his pan, and an even heavier one in the Gu.
This caused the gu master to grind his teeth ~ "You'll pay for tha..."
He was then interrupted with a knife in his chest.
While using the pan to hit the Gu, 666 also used the pan to reflect light into the Gu master's eyes, then pulled out his knife, throwing it, so as to ensure that the Gu master wouldn't see it coming, classic fighting 101.
"I'll pay for what? Hehehehehehehahahahahaha. Don't mess with the chef!" ~ 666(A chef takes pride in their work)(aka. Chef Pride)
After he calmed himself down, he looked at the struggling bug on the ground, then at his pan ~ "Do beetles usually put dents in steel?" ~ He then sighed ~ "I really need to learn Chinese soon if I want to better understand the world I'm in. it's almost like this world is trying to kill me" ~ He then looked back at the bug on the ground and licked his lips. ~ "But for now, bug soup sounds great!"
