Black flames rushed from the top of the cliff. It burned the forest mercilessly. Animals ran for their lives to avoid the cruel demonic force that struck. The trees no longer rustled cheerfully, leaving black roots without leaves and branches.
The incident shocked all the inhabitants of the Jegedi Kingdom and even the creatures inhabiting the Cluster Continent. The demon race that was hidden and secretly ruling the Suguna Kingdom, finally revealed itself by making a blatant mess as a form of challenge to the leader of Jegedi, King Hugofara Ramelison.
Jegedi royal troops consisting of warriors throughout the country as well as warriors from the Jegedi Fairy Kingdom took part in assisting the main Jegedi soldiers. They attacked the demon horde.
Dozens of orcs and petrossa - demon pets - filled the arid forest. Even so, the Jegedi troops managed to eliminate almost all of them.
"I'm not sure about this. Why would the Demon King send weak creatures to attack us?" Gen asked in astonishment.
The demon race was the strongest. Bloodthirsty monsters of obscure birth. However, what they were facing now were only low-level demon monsters. They could be defeated with just one slash.
"This is a warning. One day, the Demon King may come with a much larger and stronger army in search of the green heirloom." Sansega's words silenced the crowd.
