Chapter 10: Origin: Cursed Children (Part 2)

"Hoh, you were a Cursed yourself… Half; now I understand. You were able to hide the distinguishing features of the Cursed because you are just a Halfling?" Lilith asks with little to no interest in her voice.

"That…" with just one utterance of a word by the aunt, sonic vibrations spread out through the land ripping apart the trees, rocks, bugs, and other objects in the vicinity. Lilith remains unfazed despite feeling the vibrations tug and pull at her skin. The aunt quickly closes her mouth and takes a battle stance.

'It's been a long time since I've had to rely on the blood of the Cursed that I had forgotten that each action I take is offensive, deadly, and consumes a lot of stamina and magic. I never thought I would die using the blood that ruined my childhood' Pantha thinks as she feels the powerful flow of blood within her veins. Her ears slightly twitch at the sound of Lilith's slight clenching of body muscles.
