Chapter 3: Chapter 3 THE MEETING
Emma looks up at her boss as her eyes were roaming around his body.
She cleared her throat making eye contact with him before apologize hoping to leave his office in peace.
I arranged myself Before turning around to leave trying to calm myself down from breaking right in front of him,but then he spoke again making me stop.
"Next time dress nicely not something revealing he said. then I turned around and put up a lovely smile for him to see before leaving the office before I break down.
Emma sighed before shaking her head so she could flip his hash words off her before going into her office so she can kick start her work for the day.
She had a long day ahead of her and couldn't let her boss little words bring her down right now.
She slammed the office door behind her and sat down on her chair before taking a deep breath to clear her mind.
She took out her phone from her bag going through things happening on social media but not seems to interest her right now.she let the phone laying head straight for her job of the day.it was full meeting here and there and she has to be in all meetings with her boss.
Few minutes to go a meeting was already scheduled to take place.she had to remind her boss of the meeting.
She knocked at the office door before entering and stood at a good distance away from his preying eyes gaining his attention,but he didn't move an inch From what he was doing with the laptop.
Boss we have a meeting to attend in less than ten minutes" ok he replied I will be there.
Emma walked out of the office waiting for him outside at the Hallway.
She looked back at her watch and it was almost time.she want to the door trying to open it before knob was turned she step into her boss at the door.
She could help but take a few steps back away from him.she can be compared to her boss.
I'm sorry boss she apologized I was trying to tell you that we were running she stammered.
He look away from her before walking towards the direction of the elevator without looking back his eyes on his phone.
Emma stood next to her boss in the elevator as she tried to calm herself down breathing heavily.she took in a big breath from her mouth as she calmer down her racy heart.
"Close your mouth okay"
Emma close her mouth as she breathed in slowly and out.
In no time they reach and got out of the elevator heading towards the board room.
The room was so quite as if a boom was drop in it,but it had lots of people in it no body dares to speak or move.
Emma and her boss walked through the corridor of the board room.
The board members stood up to acknowledge his present while he replied with a nod before taking his sit and offering me the one next to him.
Emma couldn't help it but like her braveness as she felt her eyes burning her skull.emma placed her files and notepad on the table opened her own getting set for the meeting.
