Chapter 2: Chapter 1 So it begins

At first, there was nothing. Nothing existed. Then, space and time began to take shape.

Then, something came to be. At first, it was just a small orb. Soon enough, it gained consciousness.

A white glowing orb floating in the middle of nothingness, the dark abyss.

The orb was no ordinary being. Even then, it could do nothing but float around the abyss, pondering through nothing. Time passed, and finally, the orb realized it was something. At that very moment, vivid memories entered the orb's consciousness, and it gained a personality.

The plethora of memories and knowledge it learned was shocking. A memory of a human being, one named Leo Harden. Leo Harden was an average male who lived on salaries in the 21st century.

He had a fiance who cared for him, a father and a mother who spoiled him with what they had and a little sister who looked up to him. He didn't have the most attractive face or abilities, but he was special to those who loved him dearly. Leo lived a fulfilling life, he had a dream and he chased it with all his strength and he obtained it. A house of his very own. Sure, it was not a penthouse or neither a mansion but he thought he would live the rest of his life in happiness with his loved ones. But sadly, the universe had different plans. Time stopped and the *?*?*//>??> timeline ended there. No one realized the universe they lived in was swallowed by the surrounding void. As the small orb synchronized with the human named Leo, Leo's personality took over.

"What the actual fuck is this?"

Leo couldn't see or feel anything, he grew confused and scared. As he imagined himself in his human body, the white orb started to transform. Gradually, it took the shape of a human form while still retaining its white glow. Leo could now see his body.

"Whew what was that? It feels like I came back from the dead or something."

As he looked around, he could only see his naked body in the middle of nowhere.

"Am I dead? Is this the afterlife or something?" Leo wondered.

Time passed, and Leo grew more and more worried. He felt like he was losing his mind.

"Hellllooooooooo???? Aren't I supposed to meet an angel or something?" he screamed at top of his lung.

Nothing happened.

"Huh, why can't I hear myself?" Leo realized he was not making any sound. He could feel his body but, he couldn't hear anything. Leo rubbed his ears and tried to speak again, but no sound escaped his throat.

"So am I doomed to be here forever?" he thought to himself.

"Shit, why is the afterlife like this? Also, how did I even die? Let's see, I was just sleeping in my bed and woke up as my alarm went off, I just blanked out?" Leo kept thinking as he tried to piece together what had happened.

"Did I die of a heart attack? No, I would've felt the pain right? I remember just blacking out. Is it a dream? Am I just hallucinating?"

Leo convinced himself that he was just imagining things and tried to calm down.

"If it is a dream, can I control it?" Leo closed his eyes and thought of his house and his loved ones and wished for them to appear in front of him.

As he opened his eyes very slowly, he saw his house and his loved ones standing in front of him.

"Ahaha, it was a dream after all, wow, lucid dreaming sure is scary." Leo laughed to himself while he entered the house in the middle of the void. He was relieved that it was just a dream.

"Wait so I slept at work? Oh shit, I'm going to get scolded, aren't I?" Leo said himself while he walked to his loved ones.

"Amy, I can't believe I'm dreaming about you right now," Leo said as he tried to hug his fiance. But when he finally reached out to her, his hand felt something cold. As he looked closer, Amy was not moving, she was as still as a statue. Leo's heart sank as he realized that something was wrong. Leo's hand started to tremble as he tried to shake Amy and tried to wake her up.

"Amy, what are you doing, move!!" Leo shouted, his voice full of panic and fear. He couldn't think rationally. His mind raced as he tried to sake Amy's empty husk again and again until Amy's husk shattered into pieces.

"Huh, huh, huh, huh" Leo was drenched with his sweat as he exhaled heavily.

He finally gained some sort of rationality.

"Let this dream end, let it end" he begged.

The sound didn't escape from his mouth.

********************************************

Days passed as Leo lay down on the floor of the house he summoned previously. He felt like he spent an eternity there. He might've gone insane if not for his memories of his loved ones. He stared blankly into the gray-painted roof with his body on the soft white carpet.

He started to lose track of time and space, and nothing seemed to make sense anymore. Leo wondered when this weird dream would end. He already tried to bash himself into the wall and cut himself, but nothing seemed to work. He can only hope that he would wake up soon and be back in reality with his loved ones.

"Please, let this nightmare end soon" Leo whispered to himself while tear drops rolled down his cheeks. As a man, it felt unacceptable to cry, but he couldn't help himself in the mental asylum.

"Let it end, let it end" he constantly murmured. He continued to the last string of hope as he continued to beg. Then, he heard a soft feminine voice.

"Leo, hang on!"

Leo bolted up and saw no one. He rubbed his eyes and looked around, but there was no one insight.

"I'm going insane, aren't I? I'm getting teased by myself" Leo thought to himself.

"What does my father say? I guess I should be optimistic and look at the bright side" Leo resolved himself.

"Since, I can summon anything in this dream, let's have fun and see what I can do."

He then imagined a gold bar, and to his surprise, a glittering shiny bar popped out of nowhere.

"Whoa, it actually worked!" Leo exclaimed with excitement.

"Let's try something bigger, hmmm, what about a Bugatti? Always dreamt of owning one." he thought.

Like before, a luxury sports car materialized in front of him. Leo smiled wide, admiring its beautiful design. When he entered to turn on the car, he was disappointed when nothing happened.

"Shit, I guess I can't have everything in this dream." he cursed under his breath. Leo realized his newfound ability in his dream had limitations, but still, he decided to make the most out of it. Leo then spent hours summoning new objects and experimenting with his powers.

***************************

"Seems like I can't summon things that are alive or complicated. Even if it is summoned, it is just an empty shell." Leo concluded after his hours of experimenting.

"Should have learned how engines work or how guns shoot" he scolded himself for not knowing the necessary knowledge before entering this dream world.

After a while, his mind became tired and bored after summoning hundreds of objects. As Leo sat down to relax, in the corner of his eye he saw katanas, guns, and robots that he summoned to have fun.

"How long was I in this space? It feels like forever." Leo said to himself. He then proceeded to summon a clock so that he could track time. The clock was just like the ones you could see everywhere, but to Leo's dismay, it didn't work.

"Fuck, how do batteries work? I need lithium and then what?" Leo cursed frustratedly.

"I can't even see the sun, so I can't make an old clock. Wish there was a sun around here." he thought.

At that moment, Leo realized he could summon the sun.

"How does the sun create heat again? Why didn't I pay attention in science class?" Leo questioned himself.

While Leo was trying to summon the objects, he unintentionally created quarks and particles that formed the base of a new universe.

Leo was completely unaware of the creation he had just set in motion. Leo spent more and more time experimenting with his abilities and continued to summon more and more objects.

Soon enough, Leo gave up on trying to summon the sun and decided to rest his mind.

"What can I summon now?" Leo thought to himself closing his eyes.

He thought of his father, his mother, his sister and his Amy. As Leo thought of his loved ones, he felt a wave of sadness wash over him. He could no longer doubt the possibility of being stuck in this place forever until he cease to exist. He wanted to run away from this blessed and cursed dream world but he couldn't find a way out.

Little did he know, that his ample desire to escape increased his speed. As his desire increased he was moving faster than light, even accelerating time around him. As Leo's mind was engrossed with his loved ones, he was traveling into the future at an incredible rate, experiencing a time stretch that he couldn't have imagined. When he stopped thinking and finally looked beyond his house, he was it.

The sun. Leo couldn't believe his eyes – he had somehow summoned the sun!

"How did I even summon it? Is there something more to this ability he thought to himself?"

Leo marveled at the beauty of the sun and couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at his own abilities. He wanted to get closer to the sun. He then spotted a planet in the distance.

"Wait isn't it the weird planet with the rings around?" he thought.

"If there is this planet, then wouldn't there be Earth?"

Leo's hope was restored as he rushed closer and closer to the sun.

He felt like crying after seeing the blue and green planet in the distance.

"Home", he whispered to himself with tears in his eyes.

CREATORS' THOUGHTS

Leo is not the protaganist of the story, you can say he is like the creator or the god of this universe. There'll no multidimensional travel or aliens, just Earth.
