Chapter 140: No mercy to the invaders!

Soisen's first reaction was that he had misheard, because he felt no reaction that the barriers or protections were under attack.

Was someone playing a sick joke?

However, when he began to hear panicked shouts and unhinged laughter down the corridors, he snapped out of his stupor and immediately ran outside.

He watched as wizards covered in black robes flew leaving trails of dark smoke through the castle as they seemed to be trying to find something and students did their best to flee or defend themselves from the spells cast.

How did they manage to get in with all the upgrades he put into the castle!!!!!

Soisen's eyes immediately lit up and he activated authority over Hogwarts to activate the contingency plan in case of invasion. While most measures were on the outside, focused on preventing the enemy from reaching Hogwarts, it didn't mean the inside was unprotected.

-Hogwarts is under attack! -He shouted as he entered the mental command, "Guardians of stone, rise to do your duty to the castle, protect the students to your last breath and show no mercy to the invaders! -Soisen was not Dumbledore, since the Death Eaters dared to come, they could forget about their idea of ending up in Azkaban.

He wasn't afraid to turn the corridors into rivers of blood!

Of course, the stone guards were not the only ones who came to life and acted as defenders, several threads of magic seeped from the castle walls at his command and at the visor of the metal armor in the corridors, two ghostly red lights burst forth and left the wooden pedestals on which they had been standing guard for centuries.

They unsheathed their swords and startled by their abrupt movement, several morphs were unexpectedly slashed and stabbed with incredibly nimble movements before they could react and defend themselves.

With a thud, the blood on the blade shot out onto the ground and the sword flashed back as they held it in front of their chest pointing to the heavens, as if declaring their determination to protect the students behind them.

Several knights underwent a transformation as their armor liquefied and changed shape, before reorganizing into a completely different appearance with sharp rapiers and standing in front of the others as the captains leading the animated armor squadrons.

These were the armors with greater authority than the others that Soisen and Silvia secretly modified - Silver Chariot!

The Death Eaters couldn't believe that some of them died and stood for a moment blankly as they saw the blood pooled bodies of their colleagues...

Wasn't the Light side never supposed to kill?

Did Dumbledore change his mind because they crossed the line by invading the castle?

Little did they know, it wasn't Dumbledore they had to fear when they were within these walls.

-PX1 and PX2, search for and protect Silvia! -He quickly instructed as he shifted into his battle form as flying golden sand through the corridors, trying to figure out which breach all the Death Eaters were entering - PX3 and PX4, find and protect Hermione! Stay with them no matter what they tell you, priority order one. PX5, back me up. The rest of you, the mission is to protect Hogwarts students and eliminate threats... no survivors!

-Roger, Roger.

The golems hidden in different parts of the castle straightened up and after receiving the orders, ran off at full speed at inhuman speeds as if they were animals. They were designed to be efficient and moving this way made them faster.

Elegance did not compute.

-Hiii!" a Death Eater panicked at the sight of one of the golems and grabbed a student who failed to escape in time as a hostage -Don't come any closer or I'll kill him!

The golem stopped dead in its tracks to the Death Eater's relief, but as he sighed and began to think of what to do next, he didn't notice how the golem opened one emerald green eye vertically in his face and after a second, a beam of light flickered before closing the eye.

-Threat eliminated -a cold and mechanical voice was what the student who was paralyzed by the fright and felt the hot blood splashed on the side of his face heard- Please go to the nearest common room for protection -the golem resumed its movement without waiting for an answer and ignoring the wet spot that grew on the student's pants.

The same situation occurred several times in the castle and the golems realized that instead of hearing the same threat over and over again, it was more efficient to end the threats while doing their monologue, speeding up their mission of defense and rescue.

-Since when did Hogwarts have these security measures? -asked one Death Eater to another next to him.

Within minutes, many realized that something was wrong and began to form small groups.

-You ask me, but who do I ask? -complained the Death Eater who didn't know what was going on as he broke a suit of armor that tried to ambush him.

His face darkened even more as he saw other smaller armor pick up the pieces, pull back and like formula one mechanics, reassemble their partner in a single breath and he rejoined the fight.

No matter how many armors fell, there were always others fixing them and keeping the numbers up!

-Wait, did you hear that? -Another called out to them.

The floor of the hallway shook slightly as it revealed a stone griffin turning the corner and glaring at them with stone cold eyes. At its feet, statues of boars with tiny wings followed it as subordinates would follow their boss.

With a shout from the griffin statue, the boars charged without hesitation at full speed.

-Are the statues in on it too?! -Another Death Eater shouted in desperation, they could destroy three or four of the ones rushing towards them....

But there were too many of them!

The Death Eaters tried to flee by switching to their dark smoke battle form, but they didn't expect that as they were passing by the griffin, it opened its mouth and spat out a large amount of fire, interrupting them and causing them to fall to the ground in flames, where the boars trampled them mercilessly and tore them apart with their tusks.

-No!

Some tried to retrieve the wand they dropped on impact, but the boars seemed unexpectedly intelligent and instead of prioritizing attacking them, they moved in and chewed through the wooden sticks to leave the invaders with no chance to fight back.

While the Death Eaters were suffering unchecked casualties, the students reacted at last and under the guidance of the talking squares and escorted by some armor they found along the way, they all ran for shelter in the nearest common room.

They were all pale, because they saw the state of some Death Eaters (or what was left of them) on the way and now that the tension eased a bit, they couldn't help but run to the bathroom to vomit.
