Chapter 12: Chapter 12 - Scheming
I found myself inside my mind in the Batcave, barely holding onto my consciousness.
I remembered that the scheming fossil will be on his way so I projected my fake memories out and even added a fake of the lock he put on my mind and with the last ounce of will I focused on making my real mindscape hidden and even putting an alternate personality together with the fake memories.
I scanned actors and read about keeping my facial muscles steady when acting and lying but I knew it would be hard to trick an experienced dark lord so I created a personality based on the original Harry Potter from what I remember in the series and set my main personality to hide in the Batcave.
This way what Dumbles would see is not acting but what the second personality truly believed as I programmed it to.

Pov Dark Lord Goat Licker
I was in my office enjoying my lemon drops as I watched my Slytherin puppets chase after Harry.
I was disappointed that the boy managed to get sorted into Hufflepuff despite my enchantment.
Maybe the abuse I designed for him worked a bit too well and his desire for friendship shown through despite my influence on the hat.
Well, I saw that he had made friends with the Greengrass girl from Slytherin and I need to make sure that he hates Slytherin so I designed this little play where I'll swoop in and save him.
I was distracted in my thoughts when I looked back at the painting on my office wall with a map showing all the students locations.
I realized that all my puppets were unconscious and Harry wasn't moving either, how curious.
I apparated to the hallway I had cleared beforehand and quickly deduced that Harry must have let out a burst of accidental magic and the right time and he even managed to lock himself in another room.
This must have to do with the prophecy.
Perhaps it increases his power with emotions or maybe luck in such scenarios.
After I finished checking the minds of my pawns I put on the grandfather act only to realize Harry had also passed out.
I checked his mind and it seems everything is as it should be.
Even my lock on his mind is still in place.
I was prepared to replace it if it broke during his magic maturity at 11 but since the greatest wizard of all time casted it, it must have stayed.
I picked up Harry and the Slytherins and send them to the infirmary to see Madame Pomfrey.
I see that Harry is waking up so I put on the grandfather magic and get ready to make him worship me.
Pov Harry
I woke up still in the Batcave and realized I activated the second personality protocol.
I change to an observation screen and the bat computer shows the picture from outside my mind.
I watch as the other me wakes up with a start and looking around like the paranoid git he is.
Dumbledore: "Harry m'boy are you alright. I found you and a few other students unconscious in the hallway, mind telling me what happened"
Harry 2: "Yes P-professor. We were talking and then suddenly there was a bright light and I fell un-unconscious."
I couldn't help but applaud myself for thinking of created this second personality to stroke the grandfatherly goat's ego.
I would not be able to act so pathetic and paranoid even if I tried.
Dumbledore: "I see well m'boy if you have any problems you can always come and find me. I'll always have time to lend an ear"
Harry's face lights up a bit at that.
Harry 2: "Th-Thank you professor"
I started laughing at this as I can see the twinkling increased when my body reacted to his offer with such innocent hope.
The day I rip my mask off will be interesting.
I'm going to have to develop this second Harry and program emotional development as well as the added memories from my time in school.
Thankfully the goat fucker didn't do an in depth check of my body and only put an illusion on Pomphrey to basically ignore any of the long term injuries that should be there because of the abuse.
I turned off the second personality and returned to the driver seat of my body.
I sent out my sense to make sure no one was watching and created an illusion of myself on the bed for Pomphrey and anyone else who comes in.
I got off the bed and sat comfortably and a desk in the corner of the room.
I couldn't leave as I shouldn't be healed yet so I decided to finish my stealth project.
"Minney. Can you get me two silver rings that you might have stole from the pawn shops or gangs recently"
She popped in and heard my command and came back with two nondescript silver rings.
I got to work on the rings and used a specialized carving tool that looks like a pen to start engraving the runes.
I used my mana to enhance my vision and zoom in on the rings and I enlarged the ring itself to make things easier.
I first linked the two rings and then created a camouflage rune to hide them.
I tuned them to my mana frequency so only I sense them and then on the one I will be wearing I added a summoning feature, auto-sizing, a lock to keep it on my finger, the stealth clock spell that I created to make me invisible, soundless, odorless, and reduce my presence, a taser to knock someone out that I touch for fun, and finally a set of runes that will transfer my mana signature from my ring to the other one while completely hiding my own.
On the second ring I added a rune that will make it merge with the first ring on my finger unless I pulse my magic a certain way to make them sperate.
I added a solid illusion so that it will appear as if I'm in a deep sleep if anyone tries shaking me awake.
It will also alert me if anyone is trying to check the body and it will activate a mechanism where I switch places with the illusion so it won't be suspicious.
The last rune added was to receive and projected my mana signature from the other ring.
With that all done I combined the rings and slipped it onto my right thumb.
I went back to the infirmary bed to get some rest and then I'll test out the rings tonight.
