Lena is the Crown Princess of the Ephemere Kingdom. Confined inside the palace walls for most of her life, the person she would often turn to is her personal protector and dedicated bodyguard, Luca.
During her childhood years, she treated him as her best friend. Her ally. A protective, older brother who never fails to save her when she needed saving.
But as Lena grew up and blossomed into adulthood, she began developing an attraction for her bodyguard. Gradually, she started noticing him as a man.
Luca secretly loved her too, but knowing his position, he refused to entertain any romantic notions with her. Falling in love with the princess is forbidden. It was her destiny to take the throne when the time is right, and that means, being betrothed to another royalty worthy of her status.
But what if they couldn’t suppress their feelings any longer? What if something happens that would throw them both in a situation where they could pretend that ranks and royalty didn’t exist? Would they pursue their romance? Or would Lena end up upholding her royal duties in the end?

I was searching for a princess-bodyguard romance and found this story. Now, I am hooked to it. Excellent writing and story telling for a debut writer. I love Luca and Lena and can’t wait to see Lena become a great Queen. I hope she stands up for her love when the time comes. A must read for historical romance lovers.
It’s a fabulous read. The plot and flair of writing gets me hooked almost immediately. Then the addiction comes where I am waiting and waiting for chapter updates. One of my best reads.
i am pleased with the outdoor and travelling ambiance, feeling the nature. kind of sufficated nobels try to poision each other secretly indoors. lead's romance is sweet. it gives me soothing vibe. hope it keeps like this,i know trouble will come but i hope it will be balanced to keep my sweet mood.
I'm in love with the synopsis already and when I started reading the novel. it was great, this is totally recommended. Would definitely be staying for more 😁😁
Love the story, it has a great flow to it, watching her grow into a queen sure sounds thrilling, but the having to get married part gives the drama and struggle for power needed.

I think the energy between Lena and Luca was great. I love both characters already. Lena was cute and Luca is simply endearing. The story and writing was straight fwd, the story pace was good, not too fast neither too slow. Overall it was a great read. Keep up the good work dear author!
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel so far. The story is cute, and the pace is just right, with a slice-of-life feel to it that is light and calming. I find myself engrossed in the book, eagerly anticipating how the story will unfold. The characters, Luca and Lena, are both charming and endearing. Although the writing is already impressive, it would be great to see some more dramatic moments and significant events to add depth to the story. Overall, the author has done an excellent job of storytelling, and I highly recommend this novel

As soon as I read the synopsis, I was intrigued. I read the first few chapters and I am really looking forward to read more in the future. The writing is good and the plot is also great. Keep up the good work author 👍
I am already in love with this book. I like how you tell both Luca and Lena PoV. I also tried to write that way but it didn’t worked for me. About writing, it’s just my opinion but you should cut few paragraphs down. Except that everything is good. Overall, no complaints. I loved the plot and the characters both. I would love to read further.
Really good novel, with acceptable story progression. Most importantly, the characters are well expressed and depicted. Despite being a romance, I liked this novel. Can't wait for more chapters!

I read up to chapter 30 and couldn't go further. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters. It is a cute story. I like Lena and Luca's relationship.
