Chapter 10: Chapter-10

There were just two weeks left for December and our Christmas holidays were about to begin. We were walking together to school as usual. "So how's the long distance relationship going?" asked Charlie jokingly. "Going great" said Cami. "Dude, he only talks about you nowadays." I said laughingly. Cami blushed.

We were in our class. Mrs pool, our form teacher came for an announcement. "As our Christmas holidays are coming near, we have arranged a trip to Wonderland." she said smilingly. We all got very excited. It's one of the biggest amusement park in Sydney. "And and and, there's also a surprise. We are going to reveal it to y'all there itself" she said . We all got even more excited. " Those who are interested will share their names with me with the entry amount fee mentioned in the brochure by Thursday." she said while distributing it.

"What a start of our Christmas holidays!" I said excitedly. "I know right" said Charlie. "I just can't wait! We all are going out after so long." We all agreed with Mathilde. "I wonder what the surprise is. But we are gonna have a blast." said Olivia excitedly. "We can find out today itself." I grinned. Sister Meredith our English teacher came for her class. She started talking about the holiday homework. The only thing we all hate about holidays. We noted down everything she said. "You all have to submit it once the school reopens without fail. You will be getting marks. If failed to do so, you might get failed in English." she said. "Oh God! What a headache!" whispered Mathilde sadly. "We have more than a month to complete it, let's now concentrate on Wonderland." said Cami excitedly. We all agreed. We quickly had our lunch during our break. I saw Mrs Pool and Sister Elsa going to the staff room.

"I just saw Mrs Pool and Sister Elsa entering the staff room. I have a gut feeling they might be discussing about the trip. Let's find out." I said. All five of us walked towards the staff room. The best point is their tables are near the door. We were hiding and trying to listen, but few boys were playing basketball in the ground. "Damn, these guys!" said Mathilde angrily. "There's Ryan too" said Charlie and laughed. Mathilde peeped to the playground to see if he was really there. She spotted him. "Umm.." Mathilde went quite. We all laughed. Suddenly we heard the footsteps from the staff room. Someone was coming out. We got scared and were about to run.
