"For the first test, all of you will be tested on your highest damage output, so just have to direct all your power towards the cubic artifact. Upon impact, a number will be shown on the tracking meter at the side. Without further ado,
student #1, Belle Walker.
Upon hearing the name, all of the students started whispering among each other.
"Ohh, I am the first one! See you later then, Mat." Belle skipped towards the testing ground enthusiastically.
Even before she reached the testing ground, She already started chanting, magic circles gradually forming around her, one, two, three circles slowly converge and stacked onto each other.. small sparks of lightning gathered among all the circles, forming a thin innocent looking lightning bolt which strikes the cubic artifact in a blink of an eye. If one did not pay close attention, they will only hear a thunder sound which then causes smokes to form from impact.
The tracking meter suddenly showed (4742)...
All the students who saw it were stunned as if a statue, some even lost the ability to muster up strength on their feet and fell down with wide upon mouth.
"Triple cast and such terrifying control of lightning..." an instructor beside me mumbled.
(Shitt.. Am I not the protagonist??? what the f** was that. I can barely follow the speed even after casting my enhanced vision spell. If that shit landed on me, I could've died in a snap if I did cast a shield barrier.... Fkkfk I thought that after all the shit I have been through while training would have easily made me the best... I am too naive..)
I hesitantly asked the instructor beside me. "Sir,
may I ask if the spell belongs to which category magic rank?"
"Sure, from the damage wise you can say that it is a High C-Rank spell, you can categorised it by damage output, if it is a E rank spell, I will only deal around 1 to 1000, D is around 1001 to 2500, C is 2501 to 5000, B is 5001 to 10000, A is 10001 to 100000, S is 100001 to 1000000, SS is 1000001 to 10000000 and lastly SSS is 10000001 to infinite. Yeap. That's about it." He replied with a satisfied smile.
" T-thanks." I nodded, but was mind blown by the answer.
( Whatthefk, I am a just fking tiny ant to all of them, one punch or spell or any shit would've killed me in an instant. Ahhhhh fkkkk, no fking around... Wait no I still need.. that's my first goal. But I must also train. Very hard.... Now that I think about it, my staff will only be broken after 9 low SSS spells or weapon arts if I really use it to block..)
Students were slowly called up for the test while I was busy talking to myself.
