Chapter 19: MARVELous Adventures (1)
It's been a few months since the Sentry incident and Robert has been keeping it low. With the Void being sealed with the help from Nyx's side of the family, Earth's been at peace. Now we see Hyperion staring at a dead body of Arkus inside of Helen's lab.
He fished him out from the depths of Sokovia where he fell after their fight. He didn't know what to do with it but Helen told him to get rid of it. So there's only one way to do that. Carrying the body, he flew out of Earth and towards the sun.
Throwing the body as he watched it burn from the sun's heat. He then sensed someone behind him as he turned around to meet his fellow Eternal he hasn't seen for centuries.
Ikaris.
Hyperion: "Ikaris."
Ikaris: "Hyperion."
Hyperion: "So this is where you've been. It's been what? A few hundred years."
Ikaris: "Yes. I see you have a new look. I thought we don't grow hair."
Hyperion: "I'm different from you guys. Remember ?"
Ikaris: "Ah yes."
Hyperion: "Not going to see her ?"
Ikaris: "I guess not. You know I just up and leave right."
Hyperion: "Well it's technically your fault but it's not bad to see her and talk."
Ikaris: "Forget about that. I want to talk about you."
Hyperion: "And that is ?"
Ikaris: "Why are meddling with their affairs?"
Hyperion: "This again ? Just like what I always tell you. I came here to protect them. End of story. Besides, I made friends with some of them. A family. Just like what we used to be."
Ikaris: "He's not gonna like this."
Hyperion: "I don't give a damn about him. He already sent someone to stop me and didn't go so well."
Hyperion then narrowed his eyes towards his Eternal brother.
Hyperion: "Are you gonna stop me too ?"
Ikaris: "If I have to."
Hyperion: "You can try Ikaris. I beat you many times before, I would like to do it again."
The two stared at each other in silence until Hyperion sighed and turned around.
Hyperion: "I have no time for this Ikaris. Say whatever you want. You and Arishem can't stop me from doing what I was meant to do."
He flew back to Earth with a sonic boom as he left Ikaris there. He flew back to Helen's lab to see her there in her lab outfit.
Helen: "What took you so long ?"
Hyperion: "Had a run-in with someone I know."
Helen: "Another Eternal ?"
Hyperion: "The one I butt-heads with, yeah."
Helen: "I guess you guys don't see eye-to-eye."
Hyperion: "We have different opinions and that leads to misunderstanding."
Helen: "Well forget about it. I'm done for the day and I want to go out for dinner."
Hyperion: "Got a place in mind ? You know I'm not familiar with this place right."
Helen: "I know a few. Come on! I got hungry waiting for you."
She grabbed the Eternal by the arm and dragged him out of the lab. They walked around the streets of Seoul with people staring at Mark and were amazed at how tall he is. He towered over everyone. Helen is quite tall for a woman but she only reaches his shoulders.
They arrived at the restaurant and ordered some food then waited for it to be served. Hyperion looked around and saw the people inside staring at him and looked away whenever he looked at them.
Mark: "I feel out of place here."
Helen: "It's their first time seeing someone like you here. It's rare to see foreigners in South Korea nowadays."
Mark: "Well I'm not like other foreigners."
Helen: "Of course you aren't. I mean you can lift a building with ease, fly at the speed of light, shoot lasers out of your eyes. But, that's what I love about you. You're different from them."
Mark: *chuckles* "You have a weird taste in men."
Helen: "And you have a weird taste in women. You can go with supermodels or famous actresses but you chose the nerdy and simple me."
Mark: "And I don't regret it."
After having dinner, they went back to Helen's house which was a modern house at a villa near her lab.
It also has its own lab if she wants to work from home. She does that whenever Mark is around and not at the Avengers compound. He was sitting in the living room with Helen as the two were watching a Korean Drama.
Mark: "This is.... interesting."
Helen: "I know right. I only watch this whenever I'm not doing lab work."
They got comfortable with each other with Helen leaning on his shoulder when an alarm went off alerting them.
Mark: "What's that ?"
Helen: "Our satellites picked up something that just entered the Earth's atmosphere and it's fast."
They reviewed the footage that the satellite caught and what they saw is like a shooting star flying past the satellite.
Mark: "Where's it heading ?"
Helen: "Wait! Here?!"
He instantly supersped out of the house and stared at the glowing person just hovering above them.
Mark: "Danvers ?"

The said person looked down and saw Hyperion staring at her in confusion. She smiled upon seeing him there as they haven't seen each other in years.
Carol: "I was right. You really are here enjoying yourself."
Helen then came out as she walked towards Hyperion and grabbed his arm while hiding behind him.
Helen: "Who's that?"
Mark: "A friend of mine. We met way back when I went to explore space. What are you doing here Carol ? It's rare to see you back on Earth. Did the Skrulls find a new home ?"
Carol: "They did but I came here for you. I need your help."
Mark: "Oh? What do you need my help with ? I mean you almost rival me in terms of power."
Carol: "I may be strong but I don't want to underestimate what's out there. I learned a lesson when I encountered you."
Helen: "What happened ?"
Mark: "We had a fight and we destroyed an inhabited planet because of that."
Helen: "That's.....not surprising."
Carol then floated down and walked towards them.
Carol: "I believe we haven't met yet. Carol Danvers."
Helen: "Helen Cho. It's nice to meet you."
Carol: "I'm glad the big guy finally found someone. To be honest, I would grab the opportunity to get this guy myself."
Mark: "I haven't forgotten all the flirting you did when we met."
Carol: "Can't blame me. You're hot AF."
Helen: *giggles* "She's not wrong."
Carol: "See? She gets it."
Mark: "Okay, change of topic. What do you need help with ?"
Carol: "Let's talk inside. I don't want anyone hearing about this."
Helen: "Well welcome to our little home."
Carol: "I really couldn't call this little."
They went inside and sat down at the dining area where Carol put a device on middle of the table as it showed a hologram of an island.
Helen: "An island?"
Carol: "This is not just an island. It's called Utopia Isle. It is an island that the Kree used to experiment on people called the Utopians where they became powerful beings. I heard that they all left the Isle."
Mark: "Then why show this island?"
Carol: "A few weeks ago, a surge of magical energy suddenly appeared on the island. I was close by so I decided to check to see what it was."
Mark: "So you need help on this?"
Carol: "I contacted Fury. He told me that you're the guy for the job."
Mark: "Of course he would say that."
Helen: "I want to help too."
Carol: "Sure. Mark ?"
Mark: "It's fine by me. But how will you-"
Helen: "Don't worry, I have something built for this kind of occasion."
Mark: "Okay?"
...
They are now flying towards the island with the help of Helen's new aircraft. It located the island with the help of Carol.

Hyperion: "Can't believe you have this built."
Helen: "I always wanted to venture what's out there when I was a child."
Carol: "This thing can also travel in space ?"
Helen: "Yup. Stark helped my team with that one."
Carol: "Stark?"
Hyperion: "I'll explain later. We're here."
The aircraft slowed down as the island can be seen in the distance.

Carol then got out using the back ramp as she floated towards the window.
Carol: "I'll check the island. Be ready."
She then zoomed towards the island as Hyperion sat at the co-pilot seat beside Helen who looked at him.
Helen: "Something bothering you?"
Hyperion: "I couldn't catch a break with all this. Just months ago, I had to fight someone that pushed me to use my full power. Now this. It's like we can't catch a break and just go out and relax."
Helen: "Hey, it's okay. I understand. But now, I can go with you on this. It's like we are having a vacation but a dangerous one."
Hyperion: "Thanks for that. You always find a way to have time for both of us."
Helen: "That's what happens when your boyfriend is one of the strongest beings on the planet."
They heard explosions as Hyperion saw smoke coming out of the island. He just sighed and flew out but turned to Helen.
Hyperion: "Keep a safe distance. I don't want you to be caught in the crossfire."
Helen: "I will. Be careful."
Hyperion nodded and flew towards the island and landed in the forest. He walked around trying to find Carol with senses until he saw her flying through multiple trees and landed on the beach. He then saw another figure chasing after Carol as the cosmic power heroine got up from the crater to see her enemy ready to downwards slash her but Hyperion appeared catching the sword with his hands.
He then pushed the enemy away as it landed on the sand in a stance. The figure is a black-haired woman, wearing black coloured armor having golden borders, a golden tiara on forehead, choker in neck and bracelets on both wrists, wielding a sword in one hand and a shield on the other.

Hyperion: "What happened?"
Carol: "I was just looking around, until this bitch got the jump on me. She packs a punch I tell you that."
???: "What do you want? Why are you on my island ?"
Hyperion: "We are just here to talk."
Carol: "I don't think she likes us being here."
An energy blast then came out from above as Hyperion covered Carol as another explosion occurred after the attack. Another figure appeared floating down beside the woman as Hyperion blew the dust away just by clapping. He then saw that there are two of them now. The other was a blond woman in a white suit with a cape and with hands glowing with energy.
Hyperion: "So she's the one with magic energy that your services sensed?"
Carol: "Yup."
???: "Zarda, be careful. They both possess Cosmic Energy. Especially the man."
Zarda: "Don't worry Arcanna, I'll deal with him."

In a burst of speed, Zarda tackled Hyperion in the air as Carol got into a fighting stance with her fist glowing with energy. Arcanna blasted a bolt of energy at Carol who jumped out of the way and fired her own energy with Arcanna creating a forcefield to block the energy blast but she was pushed back. Zarda grabbed Hyperion by his suit and punched him square on the face sending him back a few feet as he touched his jaw.
Hyperion: "You do pack a punch."
Zarda: "There's more where that came from."
Hyperion: "Show me then."
Zarda gritted her teeth and with a loud roar she flew towards Hyperion aiming to strike his face again. Hyperion saw this and moved out of the way before ducking down when Zarda went to backhand him. She went for a punch again but Hyperion grabbed her arm before throwing her over him as he then dashed towards her with his fist reeled back. She crossed her arms to block the attack but she was still pushed back crashing back to the island creating an explosion and crater in the process.
Zarda came out of the crater as she felt her arms shaking from the punch. Hyperion landed with a loud thud as he stared at the woman who just gritted her teeth in anger.
Hyperion: "Stand down. I don't want to hurt you."
Zarda: "Just because I'm a woman you don't have to fight back?! I'll show you not to mess with me!"
With new found power and anger, Zarda dashed at Hyperion tackling him towards the other two who jumped back avoiding the assault. Zarda tackled Hyperion to multiple trees then slamming him to the ground dragging him across the dirt as trenched was formed. She punched Hyperion left and right with one last punch sending Hyperion towards a mountain.
Zarda flew towards him with her sword but she was blasted away by stellar light making her crash back towards the forest area. Carol flew towards Hyperion who slowly got out of the crater and dusted himself.
Carol: "I see you are having trouble against warrior princess there."
Hyperion: "I guess I really need to lay off the baby hands there."
Carol: *scoff* "Hmp. You did that too when we fought."
Hyperion: "I never really hit a woman even if she is an overpowered being. But I guess you and her are an exception."
Carol: *smirks* "I'm honored."
Hyperion: "Okay then."
He cracked his knuckles as his eyes glowed crimson.
