Rex's POV:
We were staring at the slick silky fur of the large white wolf, her fur glimmered in the moonlight. A kind of beauty that mankind could never imagine, an Alpha Werewolf...
"La Luna." I said without thinking. The Wolf and the 3 others looked at me, the wolf tilted its head and the others looked confused.
"Uh- sorry... La Luna is a story I got told by Adrian... you know, my ex that died?" They all nodded. "A story about a werewolf who's fur changed along the moons cycle, her beauty wad that of the moons... She was an alpha of a pack up north. One of the most powerful alphas in history- well mythology. It says when the blood moon rises La Luna would wake up and seek out revenge on the hunters who killed her daughter, she's never succeeded because a wolf without a pack stands no chance against an army of hunters." The wolf' bones started changing... and in a flash of moonlight, there stood a woman, with the most beautiful platinum blonde hair, her eyes as purple as the darkness in space, and her skin as fair as snow.
"Your story is correct child." She said, her eyes were darkened. "But my daughter isn't the only one I avenge... there's my entire pack... and Adrian..." My heart started racing, how would she know Adrian.
"Adrian was my son... a great Werewolf he was... but he decided he wanted a normal life, a life where he could fall in love, and grow old with someone."
"But in the stories, don't hunters only kill those deserving of death?" Nathan asked.
"Adrian was innocent!" She snapped, "My pack and Lilian may have killed innocent people, but Adrian had never hurt a soul in his life." She explained. "I never approved of his lifestyle, but the way he talked about this boy... how could a mother deprive her son of such happiness. So I left him be... I should've done something, because after that I never saw him again." She said, tears filling her eyes.
"So... Adrian fell in love with a guy- and the hunters took advantage of this and killed him?" Avery Asked, La Luna nodded.
"Wait," I started, "Don't people only turn into werewolves by being bitten?" Luna looked at me and nodded.
"This is a special case dear." She said. "When your mother's were pregnant they all needed blood, to help get them through the pregnancy, so I gave them some of mine... I gave 3 lots of blood. This made your wolfing out start on a supernatural blood moon." Wait- 3? Then what about the other one?
"You said 3- but there's 4 of us." Nathan said.
"Mhm, I remember Avery, Yours and Tori's mom... but Rex was already delivered before she was injected with the blood." They all looked at me.
"His eyes did look more like an orangey-yellow than just a yellow- unlike everyone else's." Avery noted.
"... Orange?" Luna said looking at me, I could sense she was scared, but not of me... I don't know how to explain it.
"Anyways," She said, underlying changing to a happier look. "You 4 are a pack without an alpha, and I am an alpha without a pack- so what do you say?" She smiles. After a minute of silence, Avery spoke up.
"Can we think about it?" Luna nods.
"You have until the next full moon." She left the way she came in... and we all went home.
I was getting ready for bed when I get a text.
Unknown: Hello, is this Rex?
I looked at the screen hesitantly before eventually typing:
Rex: Ye... Who's this?
I stared at my phone nervously, I don't tend to do well with strangers who I haven't seen face to face...
Unknown: Oh, it's Rain, Avery gave me your number and I wanted to ask if you'd like to come over and watch Teen Wolf with me?
I smiled. Tori walked in my room.
"Who you smiling at?" She said, smiling back at me.
"You know Avery's friend Rain?"
"The one you called cute?"
"Yeah, well he wants me to come over and hang out- Wait... does he know I'm gay? This is bad, I'm gonna say no-" Tori cut me off.
"Avery isn't the type of person to out her friend, you have nothing to worry about. So, what did he invite you to do?" She asked.
"To watch a show with him."
An hour passed and I arrived at the address he sent... and after 5 minutes of hesitating, I knocked on his door.
"Hey, Come on up." Rain takes me to his room, lays on his bed and turns on the TV. I sat on the floor, because there were no chairs, and I don't want to push it by sitting on his bed.
"What are you doing?" He said, smiling.
"Sitting down?" I replied.
"There's enough room for you to lay up here dude." He pats the blanket next to him. I stand up and lay on the bed, he puts his arm around me and looks for the show.
"Be warned, I'm on season 5 or somet so, you've missed a lot." I nodded and he pressed play. We were watching the show for a good few hours, and I had fallen asleep.
When I woke up, Rain was looking at me.
"You talk in your sleep you know?" My face flushed...
"Hey, don't be embarrassed, it was cute!" He smiled.
"Oh my god, school!" I said and stood up.
"School's already started, we might as well not go now."
"But my parents-"
"Have already been called by me, I said you were throwing up so I stayed off to take care of you and they're chill with it." My heart quickened.
"Fine, I'll stay..." I finally said.
"More Teen Wolf!" He yelled happily, he pressed play and I looked at him and smiled... this dude is perfect... and way out of my league.
We watched it for a bit when I smelled something odd... like burning flesh.
"OW!" Rain said and pulled his arm out from around me. It was covered in burns...
