Chapter 4: Birthday Part 1

Five Years Later

April 20th, 1995

"Happy Birthday!" The small crowd of people shouted. A little brown boy with amber-green eyes had the biggest grin on his face. His curly dark brown hair swayed as he blew out the candles on his cake. Most there assumed he was happy because of his birthday. They would be wrong. He had a big grin because he finally had enough points. Do you know how hard it is to have god-like power just out of reach? He couldn't even talk properly for the first two years without being suspicious. As powerful as the system was, gaining fan points as a baby was challenging. People barely expect you to be potty trained, let alone create fiction. Trey was only a year old when he finally found a solution. Other children!

The little rug rats allowed him to accumulate points. Kids are much easier to impress than adults, especially when you're one of them. He also had access to many of them via daycare and school. Still, how could he get points when he had no skills or material from his previous life? Simple, he plagiarized & took creative liberties with child-related fiction from his previous life. The best part was that music connected to fictional works could be used to earn points aswell. Every day before he could talk appropriately at daycare, he would sing or hum something. By the time he could speak, he used every childlike thing he could remember for points. Theme songs and a socket puppet version of Veggies Tales were the easiest to recall. All that time watching tv previously didn't go to waste in this life.

He's had enough points for six months now. Trey had to save extra points to offset the chance of bad things entering the universe. The perfect example is the ring from Lord of the Rings. He may be able to resist it, but there was no point in taking the risk. He built up extra points for these chances and the superpowers that would cost him double. He hit the goal, humming a song right before blowing out the candles on his cake. Trey called out to the system, stuffing his face with chocolate cake. The night before, he mapped out everything he wanted.

'Yes, I, Treyvon Alexander Carter, have waited long enough.' Trey replied gleefully.

[Command accepted 83 FP remaining balance.]

A rush of information flowed into his head. After five years, the plan made back in the womb came to fruition. Some might ask why these skills, out of all the ones he could've had. Simple, these skills set him up to earn points and set a foundation for growth.

Memory skills so he could recall anything from his past life perfectly and store new information. Musical skills to bring any song to life. Yu Ilhan's skills covered a large amount of knowledge at the college level or above. Fëanor's skills allowed him to craft anything from almost any source, have a language no one in this universe knows, and be a master craftsman. Artistic Replication allowed him to replicate any piece of art perfectly. The final four are what made this collection of skills perfect.

The End made it so he could learn or copy any skill. The ability also allowed him to learn based on information or word of mouth. He could even master skills better than the original. The only limits of this skill were skills exceeding the body's capabilities which he covered in other skills.

Template fixed that issue by letting him assume the characteristics of any particular character he read about. Creating a specific template for each one. For example, he wasn't born with chakra. He could then read Naruto and create a template for that world. The new template would have chakra so he could learn skills that require it. (Baseline powers for each Template.)

Fictional Learning allows him to learn skills that only exist in fiction. Like The End, Trey could learn by watching someone doing it, being taught by them, helping them perform it, or even projecting the knowledge into his mind. This would not only help save fan points but in tandem with the Template and The End, no skill or power was escaping his grasp. Finally, Array's abilities were the most broken.

Trey could generate & customize any detail, parameter, ability, aspect, feature, or defining characteristic of someone via cloning. Allowing him to create any character he wished at any time, from humans, beasts, or alien beings. All of the clones would also share a mental link. The toll the power took on the user was the only thing stopping the ability from being completely broken. If not for those limits, he would have made hundreds of clones on the spot.

Similarly, all his other skills were also blocked at his current tier until he broke through to the next level. (Along with the system's fan point requirement) Despite all of those restrictions, the potential he now had was genuinely God-like. Trey couldn't help but imagine how powerful he'll be at universal levels of power.

CREATORS' THOUGHTS

Math for how he accumulated the points. Twenty-five students in his daycare or school he sees daily. 25 x 30 days in a month = 750. 750 x 12 months in a year = 9,000. 9,000 x 4 years = 36,000. 36,000 x 3 things from fiction each day = 108,000. I lowered it to 100,000. I also didn’t include ways he could have gotten points from places like family, birthday parties, etc. Also, it is much easier to get fan points for repeat content from kids. Children can listen to baby shark on repeat and will be happy to hear it again for the millionth time. Finally, let me clarify something one last time. It doesn't matter what power or equipment he gets. It will always be in his current tier of power. He still has to work and train to become more powerful. If you see a power and think he’ll immediately become God-like, you have the wrong story. Anyway hope you’ve enjoyed the story so far.
