Fu Yue started to wonder whether Silence was trying to come for his head instead of asking him to be his teammate.
Otherwise, how can he have such impeccable timing to screw him over and over again?
"I thought you were busy?" Fu Yue grumpily asked.
Silence's message soon appeared but was instantly drowned by others. Fu Yue involuntarily knitted his brows together and without much thought, he directly promoted Silence to be his housekeeper.

Fu Yue's eyes widened in disbelief. He had confidence in his ability but he hasn't produced any grand achievements to convince a giant team such as TM yet!

As he went through the agreement, his expression slowly changed from disbelief to shock before looking as if he had seen a ghost.
Suspecting that there was an error, Fu Yue ran to the private chat between him and Silence.

With a few fake coughs, he awkwardly said, "... I didn't expect you to call right away."
The other side seemed to not notice his dilemma for his reply to come right away, "Well, some words need to be spoken instead of typing." He made a small pause and then asked another question, "What's your name?"
Having calmed down a bit, Fu Yue properly reported his name, "Fu Yue."
Wei Chen proceeded to ask in a straightforward manner, "Well then, Fu Yue. Will you join Tianmeng?"
Fu Yue momentarily paused. He then realized something which caused him to fail in restraining his laughter, "Don't tell me... You call because you simply want to hear me say yes?"
Wei Chen was not embarrassed and directly admitted, "En."
Hearing his serious reply, Fu Yue's awkwardness instantly dissipated.
How come he suddenly finds Captain Wei to be a little bit... Cute?
Fu Yue's eyes crinkled in a good mood, he couldn't help but tease, "You know my best option is slightly different from yours."
On the other side, Wei Chen was stunned by this sentence. His mind rapidly spun pondering hard what other option was even better than his proposal.
Couldn't come up with anything, Wei Chen directly asked the other end with a slight frown, "What's your best option?"
Following was a melodious voice mixed with a hint of laughter that was extremely pleasing to the ears. Coach He who was waiting on the sideline couldn't hear what Yueyue was saying to Silence on the phone.
However, upon seeing the young man suddenly cover his mouth with his left hand before hanging up the call with an unreadable expression, he couldn't help but become antsy.
He hurriedly asked, "Wait, don't tell me that he has already signed with another team?!"
Wei Chen lightly shook his head in return.

Hearing that things went smoothly, Coach He heaved a sigh in relief.

Coach He never doubted Silence's judgment. Since he has already said so then he was willing to trust him and signed this rookie.
"Then what's wrong with you?" Recalling his abnormal behavior, Coach He asked in confusion.
Wei Chen expressionlessly glanced at him, and he tossed back the question, "What's wrong with me?"
Seeing that the young man looked unperturbed, Coach He felt that he might've read too much. In the end, he dismissively waved his hand, "It's nothing. I will give Old Zhao a call. Remember to get his performance test at the youth training center before coming here to sign."
Wei Chen gave a small hum to which Coach He grabbed his belongings and proceeded to exit the meeting room.
Wei Chen too didn't stay in the room for long. He slowly stood up intending to go back to his room.
Recalling those words that he heard not long ago, the corner of his lips had an imperceptible arc.
'Being your teammate. Captain Wei, Happy cooperation.'
Wei Chen helplessly shook his head feeling unbelievable at his own reaction.
