Chapter 6: Lips Hypnosis (instagram affairs)
"I need you to post something on Instagram." Lu Ran, who had volunteered to work late again, slipped into Yan Qi's car and made her request. Yan Qi immediately leaned in for a kiss.
"Why Instagram?" He pressed his mouth against hers and rubbed it back and forth. When she tried to speak, he teased her with his tongue, making it difficult for her to communicate.
"I saw Lin Nian posted your engagement pictures earlier... I want your post too..." She managed to get the point across after some deep kissing.
"I sent you so many photos...you should post too..."
Yan Qi sensed Lu Ran's disappointment and pulled her closer. She's now such a spoiled child.
"What do you want me to post?" He asked as he leaned down towards her. "Don't pout."
"Everyone knows that you're engaged and that you have a gorgeous fiancée. I am just an outsider," she said, looking uneasy. "We shouldn't kiss like this."
Yan Qi placed his phone on the dashboard and turned on the camera. "What have you been thinking all these days? Open your mouth and give me a good shot," he said as he set up the continuous shot feature.
Lu Ran felt herself becoming more aroused as their tongues intertwined in front of the camera. The two of them moaned softly as they kissed passionately.
The small front seats of Yan Qi's car became a hotbed of lust, with their salivas dripping down through their tongue tips mixed with heavy breathing. Anyone who caught a glimpse of this situation would naturally think they were couples in love rather than childhood friends.
As the kiss came to an end, Yan Qi lightly bit Lu Ran's lip. He knew she was a delicate and spoiled girl who would shove and grunt even with the slightest pain.
"I'll pick a photo to post on my way back. Let me drop you off first. Don't be a spoiled girl," he said softly as he looked at her swollen lips and red eyes. He couldn't resist kissing her a few more times before letting go of her.
"Alright, but make sure it's the best one," Lu Ran nodded obediently and released her arms from around Yan Qi's neck. She waited until their breathing had calmed down before sitting down in her seat.
She then picked up Yan Qi's water bottle in the middle of their seats and unscrewed the lid to take a sip, trying to act natural while peeking at Yan Qi's response. When she realized that he didn't care at all and even reminded her to drink slowly, Lu Ran finally became fully convinced by his hypnotic effect.
The progress bar had reached 75%, yay! Lu Ran licked the rim of the glass in excitement and complimented him: "The water in your bottle tastes better than ordinary water."
"So sweet now? I guess we'll need more kisses," Yan Qi teased playfully. Whenever they stopped at a red light, Lu Ran would take the initiative for more kisses.
Yan Qi dropped Lu Ran off at her apartment gate where they said goodbye with another fifteen minutes of kissing. After she entered the building, he went back into his car to pick out one photo to post on Instagram with captions: "Can't get enough of her mouth."
The post quickly went viral, generating top search terms such as "Yan Qi kissing", "Yan Qi Lin Nian","whose mouth", "lips beauty ritual"...
Lu Ran felt thrilled when she checked Yan Qi's account later that night. The latest post of that long-neglected account was an extremely powerful photo.
The photo shows two lips intimately spread apart, with a crimson, thick tongue wrapping around the other smaller one. Their lips are moist and shiny, and even in this still image, there is an intensity that can be felt.
Lu Ran couldn't help but blush at the lewdness of it all, but she still downloaded the photo. As she clicked on the comments section, she saw that in just half an hour, the post had already received over a thousand comments. A selection of the hottest ones included:

"I can't stop staring at Lin Nian's mouth, it's so kissable 😘😭"

Lu Ran giggled as she read through them all. "That's not Lin Nian's mouth," she thought to herself. "It belongs to Yan Qi's childhood best friend." A weird feeling rose from within her as she realized that everyone was fawning over a fake relationship. The perfect man Yan Qi was in love with another woman all along - and when everyone found out, Lu Ran would feel great.
But not everyone was blind to the situation. As Lu Ran scrolled down further through the comments section, she noticed some people questioning whether or not the mouth belonged to Lin Nian at all. With Lin Nian having posted her engagement photos just days before, fans were comparing those images with insatiable appetites for gossip.
As Lu Ran lay on her bed reading through everything with interest, she couldn't help but wonder what Lin Nian's reaction would be if she found out about this whole drama - and how it would end up playing out between her and Yan Qi if things turned sour.
"That would be bad," Lu Ran thought to herself nervously. "Really bad." After all, Yan Qi hates disobedient women.
She went back onto her own ins account and took a picture of all the lipsticks and balms that Yan Qi had gifted her earlier in the day.
"Somebody kissed my mouth sore and swollen," she wrote as a caption beneath it all. "But I liked it."
